On the eve of the major update “Sky raiders”, we offer everyone a favourable opportunity to upgrade their weapons — the main tool for victory on the battlefield! With the start of full-fledged air and ground battles, you may need a wide variety of weapons, so don’t miss your chance!
Please note that the weapons featured on the “Road to singularity” and “Depths of the Wasteland” workbenches, as well as a number of others, do not participate in this promotion. You can view the full list of weapons participating in the promotion directly in the game.
From 12:00 GMT on October 5, to 23:59 GMT on October 8, you will need only one additional (identical) part to upgrade your weapons (instead of two).

Very soon large-scale battles involving aerial vehicles will begin in the Wasteland. Fasten your seat belts — “Sky raiders” are approaching!
You’ve already had the opportunity to try out armoured aircraft, but that was just the beginning. Now the majority of the factions have mastered these technologies — some have developed them themselves, others have stolen the blueprints from their neighbours. In any case, just about everyone has their own air fleet now, which means you will too! With the update, which is planned to be released next week, armoured aircraft will become an integral part of Crossout — just as armoured vehicles and leviathans are now. This means that there will be a new slot in the garage that will store the air monster you’ve assembled!
The armoured aircraft assembly will be no different except for the requirement to have a rotor. Or even a couple if you want! Speaking of rotors — there will be several types of them in the game, each with its own characteristics and features.
In addition to that, you can expect the appearance of other parts that will help in ground-air battles: an anti-aircraft autocannon, a bomb launcher, heat traps for deflecting rockets — everything that will help you establish your superiority on the changed battlefield! Mixed battles between armoured vehicles and armoured aircraft will be available as part of separate missions based on the already existing “Get the scrap metal!”, “Get the wires!” and “Get the batteries!” At the same time, the old modes will also remain in the game — this way you will still be able to take part in exclusively ground-based battles.
In addition, with an armoured aircraft it will be possible to enter the “Patrol”, “Back on patrol” and “Bedlam” modes — there will be no division into ground and mixed battles.
Raids, Confrontation, Clan wars and other modes not listed above remain solely ground-based at the moment. But it’s possible that in the future, air battles will become a part of these modes as well! In order to test themselves in aerial combat as soon as possible, each player will receive their starting armoured aircraft when they reach reputation level 10 with the Engineers faction. For those whose level is higher, the aircraft will be issued automatically.
This is just a brief description of what awaits you in the new update. If you want to see more and ask your questions to the developers, be sure to join our livestream, which will take place on Tuesday, October 10, on the official Crossout YouTube channel.

There have been a lot of new elements added to the game lately, and one of them is the “Confrontation” rating system. Of course, such an important innovation couldn’t go unnoticed, and you have often asked us how exactly the rating is calculated. “Why does my best battle get less rating than a mediocre one?” — we have received a lot of questions like this in the comments on our social media platforms.
Today, we’d like to clarify these discussions: to put it simply, the rating is calculated as your combat effectiveness per minute. But in order to understand all the details, let’s take a look at its formula:
Battle rating = battle outcome * (c1 * destruction + c2 * assist + c3 * parts + c4 * capture + c5 * destructions of the player) / battle time
As we can see, the calculation takes into account the following indicators:
The outcome of the battle: victory or defeat
Amount of enemies you destroyed
Number of times you assisted in destruction
Number of parts you destroyed on enemy vehicles
Amount of captured bases
Amount of times your car was destroyed
Time of battle in minutes
These indicators have their own weight, which is reflected by the c1, c2, c3, c4 and c5 coefficients. Note that the last one is negative — thus, the player’s destruction reduces the rating received for the battle. The coefficient values are individual for each mode: missions, “Confrontation” and Clan wars.
As you can see, victory in a battle works as an increasing coefficient for points already scored in the battle, and not as an absolute bonus.
The time of battle has a minimum value equal to 1 minute. That means that even if the battle ended faster, the time will still be calculated with this value.
In addition, the full duration of the battle is taken as time — even if your vehicle was destroyed before the end of the battle. We’d like to note that in the Clan wars mode, the sum of the time of all battle rounds is considered for this indicator. It’s also worth noting that during such a battle you can be destroyed more than once.
The rating essentially reflects the concentration of useful player actions per unit of time. It’s up to you to decide what kind of strategy suits you best: saving your durability points and consistently dealing damage until the very end of the battle, or dealing a huge one-time damage and then going to observers!
We are still actively collecting data on the new system and carefully studying your feedback, so be sure to share your opinion!
That’s all for today. We hope you found this article helpful, and we’ll see you in the “Confrontation” mode! For more information on Crossout, follow these channels:
Throughout the previous week, we’ve been evaluating how the new “Confrontation” schedule affects the world of the Wasteland, as well as your questions and suggestions about it. We are pleased to announce that we are changing the default schedule of this mode: now it will be available for 1 hour every 2 hours (regardless of whether it overlaps with “Clan war” or not).
Good luck to everyone on the battlefields of the Wasteland! For more information on Crossout, follow these channels:
We remind you that the “Road to singularity” season will end on October 11! After the end of the season, you will no longer be able to increase your level and open those battle pass cells that remained blocked. Daily and weekly season challenges will also become unavailable.
If you didn’t manage to reach the maximum level, there’s still some time! Complete daily and accumulated weekly challenges and get all available rewards! You can also increase your current level in the event with a special pack “Battle pass level”, while a standard or elite battle pass will give you access to all additional rewards you were able to unlock.

Very soon something unprecedented will happen in the Valley. We advise you to prepare for an adrenaline rush and new heights! And in the meantime, update your desktops!
One day, Scar AB found an old magazine with images of cars that existed before Crossout and got the idea to gather a collection of such cars. Rumours of Scar AB’s collection quickly spread throughout the Valley. People from all parts of the Valley began to flock to see the wonders of the automobile industry. Of course, many of them expected to drive back behind the wheel of a new car. But Scar AB wasn’t rushing to get rid of his beloved “toys” that were so hard to obtain. Thus, the idea of the “Destructive toys” store was born. Wasteland engineers, this is your chance not only to become famous and get unique awards, but also to become the author of a new armoured car, which will be sold in the in-game store. Plus, you’ll earn some coins!
