Once Scar AB found an old magazine with images of cars that existed before the events of Crossout, and now he wants to assemble a collection of such cars. Many cars in this world are gone, and so survivors are invited to assemble a car similar to the one depicted in the photo.
The 3 best entries will be selected in two groups, and their authors will receive a reward of 300 coins and an epic "Amusement container" (first group) and 100 coins and an epic "Amusement container" (second group)!
We would like to thank all of you for your interest in the new mode as well as for your regular feedback regarding the possible changes and improvements. And, of course, we heard your numerous requests to extend the fierce battles in the arenas!
Starting from today, we are adjusting the amount of points required to enter battle for the “Bronze” and “Silver” leagues. To enter the Arena you will now need:
Bronze: 12 points (instead of 14).
Silver: 16 points (instead of 18).
Gold: 20 points (instead of 21).
We are happy to announce that both modes (“Arena” and “Arena: Rating”) will be extended until March 23 inclusive. And for the next day after that (March 24), we are planning to release a new update, so you definitely won’t get bored!
Best regards, Crossout team

Spectral Hunter
Armoured car: “Beater”;
Unique epic cabin: “Ghost”;
Unique epic minelayer: “Kapkan”;
Unique character portrait “Wolfhound”;
Unique paint can: “Misty Marshes”;

Maximum number of parts increased to 55;

When times are tough, call Wolfhound. For this mercenary, burnt by all the fires of the Wasteland, there is never too much dirty work, only inadequate payment. His services are usually resorted to by the most desperate. And yet nobody knows who they should be afraid of anymore: their problems or the intractable mercenary.
Wolfhound’s personality is shrouded in mystery, like a swamp — with mist. He never takes off his helmet, and none of his customers saw his armored car. But everyone heard the hungry roar of the engine in the night and the blood curdling screech of the wheels. Many arrogant drivers tried to find him, but nobody succeeded, if the Wolfhound did not want to appear himself. Therefore, inhabitants of the Valley are convinced that his car leaves no tracks. Which, of course, is not so. The truth is that the “Beater” places traps, patiently waits in stealth and furiously attacks the reckless victims who were unlucky enough to wander into his ambush.
Therefore, you can be sure that this mercenary will take your terrible secret with him to the grave, and no one will ever know about it. Besides himself...

Earlier the informant reported that the largest production of armoured cars for the arenas is organized in the Scavenger vault. I spoke with my debtor, one of Scar AB’s henchmen. Once the Order of the Seekers saved his life, and now he has agreed to repay the debt by providing the blueprints of armoured vehicles that the Scavengers are making by the Arbiter’s orders.
But at the rendezvous point, there was a wooden box waiting for me. Inside, there was a mutilated corpse of my debtor and with this note:
“Hello again, Seeker. Your man is very tough and for a long time, he hasn’t revealed who he’d been working for. If I’d known that my old acquaintance needed the blueprints, I wouldn’t have tortured the poor guy. Don’t worry, I burned his heart. We would be glad to see a member of the Order in the arena. If you’re so interested in seeing these cars, come and see them. Blazing Etna”.
I have indeed met Etna before (see here: An essay by Seeker Grigio about Etna and the funeral traditions of Firestarters). She is also involved in the organization of the “arenas”. According to certain reports, the young woman has moved up in the Firestarters hierarchy and now, on behalf of the shamans, she acts as a recruiter and oversees order in the “arenas”.
However, my informant was able to repay his debt even from the grave. While examining the body, I noticed that the heel on his left shoe was loosely pressed to the sole. There was a stash: a flash drive with blueprints of armoured vehicles and short commentary from their creators.
“Stag” — a lightweight build with two cannons “Executioner 88 mm”. Their precise shots will not give the enemy a chance, and the speed of the “Harpy” cabin will allow the vehicle to quickly change positions or escape from the enemy with melee weapons.
“Praetorian” — a medium-lightweight support build. Three “Spectre-2” machine guns and the vehicle’s incline will allow the driver to hit the enemy’s vulnerable points at medium range. And the “Favorite” cabin allows the vehicle to deal a lot of damage to the approaching enemy by pulling the trigger.
“Dusk” is an armoured vehicle with five self-guided “Pyre” rockets. The basic tactic is to drive up to the enemy in stealth mode and hit him in the vulnerable point up close. The vehicle’s weapons are heavily tucked inside the hull and mounted on one side. This gives the rocket launchers remarkable survivability. And the cabin “Dusk” enhances the rockets even more.
“Secutor” —the classic armoured vehicle with shotguns uses the “Favorite” cabin and the legendary “Hammerfalls”. Three pairs of heavy wheels will allow the driver to reach the enemy and grind him to dust.
“Cyclone” — a medium build with three autocannons mounted on the “Favorite” cabin. With its invisibility module, the driver can effectively break into any battle. Its heavy bumper and armor give enough time to utilize all the combat power of the vehicle.
“Olympic” is a tremendously heavy armoured vehicle. It’s armed with two robust “Elephant” turret cannons. It has a greater survivability rate, and the cabin “Humpback” increases the damage in case someone dares to check how durable the “Olympic” really is.
“Censor” — a medium-heavy armoured vehicle armed with three “Trigger” laser drills. Combined with the “Photon” cabin, they deal huge amounts of damage to a certain point. To compensate for their short active range, the armoured vehicle was equipped with strong movement parts and a reinforced hull.
“Centurion” — a build armed with the impulse cannon “Kaiju”. Thanks to the “Torrero” cabin, this car can be very efficient at long range, and its high speed and light tracks allow the car to quickly escape from any pursuit.
Conclusion:
Recently, the activity around the “arenas” has strongly increased. Sounds of explosions and shots can be heard from the buildings. No one is allowed inside, but Firestarter trucks regularly pass through the gates.
Many survivors say that they have not seen their acquaintances who were visited by recruiters for a long time. Perhaps they accepted the offer and began to take part in the battles. It is possible that I will accept Etna’s offer and try to visit one of the “arenas” as a guest. Although, according to her letter, it is obvious that they want to see me there among the participants.

What are the survivors searching for? What are they trying to spot with their binoculars?
Perhaps they are trying to track the first deliveries of the refined “Ghost” cabin? Or maybe get a closer look at the new leviathans, created specifically for the annual brawl with drones?
Either way, it would be easier to observe it through the cabin’s built-in scope. If such a thing would have existed, of course. Or maybe it does exist after all?
Let’s hope that March will bring a lot of interesting things to the Wasteland. In the meantime, here’s a new artwork, which, like many other images, you can download from the “Wallpapers” section of our website.
