A strange black bird flew from under the arches of the bridge and hung at the water tower. The motors were buzzing inside the bird, wings were replaced with tiny screws, and ultra-thin lenses were its eyes: it was a miniature scout-copter. The machine scanned the terrain —sandy off-road and pits with turbid standing water. But the sullen scenery of Clean Island was not its target. A long shadow slid over the wall of the transformer cabin. The cameras came to life, focusing on the object — an old armoured car that was jumping on road bumps. Then the analyzers and the alert system turned on: “The object is identified, transmitting coordinates”. The drone gained altitude in the sky above the shallow water and froze like an evil ghost. Meanwhile, the armoured vehicle was approaching the shore. Several full twenty litre canisters were jamming in the trunk - in the settlements behind the Ring very few saw so much water. When the shabby car climbed the bridge and drove halfway across, they were already here – people in masks with fluorescent grins. An entire battery of vehicles blocked the road, merging into a large color spot in the distance. “Hold still, Lloyd!” a voice reinforced with a horn pronounced. – We are the Syndicate. Your interest is to hear what we have to say. Confirm that you understand us. A lonely raider glanced into the mirror - strange trucks were approaching from the back too. Outsiders surrounded him on a concrete platform, in a semi-flooded wasteland that emitted poisonous gases - the best place to attack was impossible to find. Contrary to ordinary bandits, these fighters were led by a cold mind. - You don't have a chance to leave!, the megaphone threatened. - And no reason to stay! - the raider shouted back. – I don’t know any schmindicate! I’m closed for a maintenance break. For the next visit, consult my secretary! With a crazy laugh, he pushed the pedal to the floor. The screaming wheels rolled into the concrete, and the old armoured car fell off the bridge, slipped into a pit with a bubbling slop. The car burst into the mud, its bottom drove through the sand with a moan, but the engine growled and began to gain strength. - Adios, pilots! - the runner saluted, muttering. - Behave we…… Damn, want to take me alive? A huge harpoon broke through the roof of the cabin. The raider drowned the gas pedal again – the car roared, pulling the rope to its limit. Whipping fountains of dirt, the runner got to land and realized: there are really no chances. The Syndicate rushed at a wild speed, virtuously entering dangerous turns. Colorful trucks surrounded the victim – he had nothing against their maneuverability and power. The raider shut down the engine, raised his hands as a sign of reconciliation, but he was pulled out of the cab, twisted and thrown face down. - You’ll be first, I get it, - the prisoner whimpered, spitting out the sand. – What’s the deal anyway? - You're Lloyd, you were with Dawn’s Children, - said a tall, wide-shouldered man with a dragon tattoo. Survivor snorted. - Who do you say I am? Bravissimo, detective! The man seemed not to hear this. - I am Heaven’s Blade, and this is my Syndicate. We know you stole the secret of the Ravagers. Though we are surprised that this was done by an old man. If you tell us the secret, we leave your pathetic life to you. - What a clever robber I am, though! I had no idea... The raider once again drowned in sand – one of the capturers pushed his head into the ground and twisted his hands even harder. - Fine... suppose I have something, Heaven’s... Is that really your name? I’m afraid the secrets of the Ravagers will upset you. - The dragon gets upset when he gets teased. Don’t test your luck, Lloyd. I’m waiting. - The information is in a different place, - the prisoner cried. - You don’t think I’m carrying it with me, do you? - Then get back in the car. And you take us there. And don’t try to fail. As you can see, we will split your wreck in two. - It’s not “fail”, it’s “bail” - the raider grumbled. - Whatever you say, boss. Let’s take a ride together. Soon the group reached the grim ruins of either an abandoned factory or a former military unit. The raider stopped in front of an inconspicuous hangar and gave everyone a sign to exit their cars. - We’re here, - he told the leader of convoys. – Wait outside. I’ll unload the water first and disable the security. Then I’ll look for what you need. - The syndicate doesn't need you to just look, - Heaven’s Blade cut him off. - We need a specific, clear coordinate. - Don’t worry, you'll get your “coordinate”. And trust me, it’ll shake you up. The old man disappeared in the depths of the hangar. Heaven’s Blade shook his head in disbelief. He turned to the fighters - without any words they understood the commander and quickly moved on reconnaissance. Having left some people to guard the vehicles, the Syndicate lieutenant also went inside. The hangar was occupied by a giant motley truck. Looking like a mixture of a tank and a circus tent, it looked at the people with eyes painted on the sides. Fans of metal tubes hung from the roof, hovered by a net of extinct garlands, and the sign «Six Frags» was seen below. “Hey, Lloyd, why do you keep a circus?” shouted someone from the Syndicate. The old man smirked. - Think about it, which normal scientist doesn’t have a circus ? That’s not how it works in the east? I just don't understand one thing - where did you go? I asked you to stand at the entrance! -You talk too much, - Heaven’s Blade. – My Syndicate is here to inspect, and you will give me the coordinates immediately. - I'll give you the data and goodbye, - the raider said seriously. - Here, I found the right cord. Connect to my system, take whatever you want. The lieutenant raised his eyebrow. - How do you have our standard connector? - Meh, big deal. It's not the rarest thing in my workshop. Buddy! - the raider called out the fighter who had passed deep into the hangar. – I said don't hang around in the garage! The team tech brought a laptop computer. - Scan the system, - said the lieutenant in his native language. - the last thing we need is to catch some virus. - I’m on it. No threat detected. Looking by the mask. GPS. I see one match... Commander, these are the coordinates! - Excellent, - Heaven’s Blade nodded. – Download. -Yes, - replied the technician, glancing at the screen. – More than sixty percent already. While download was in progress, other fighters were carefully studying the truck. Having noticed that it was covered with a tarpaulin on the side, one of the lieutenant’s men pulled off the protective tent. - Alert! Ravager! The Syndicate quickly steadied their weapons. The raider exploded. - What are you blabbering about? Don’t you dare to shoot! I need it! I reworked it! Heaven’s blade glanced in the direction of the barrels and saw the hull, which was wrapped in wires. The robot was completely mounted in the truck, its lamps went out, and the manipulators were hanging stationary. But the lieutenant ordered: - Open fire! Ninety-one percent. The bloading menu was replaced by an error window, and at that moment there came a monstrous rumble. The speakers hidden inside the truck revived, unleashing the basses from which the floor trembled. The floodlights quickly lit up, blinding outsiders with a powerful stream of light, and the hibernated Ravager instantly enabled active mode. But now the Syndicate didn't care about the Ravager. It seemed like a bomb had exploded in the air. One by one, the fighters threw their weapons down and collapsed on their knees, pressing their palms against their temples. The leader’s face was distorted by the grimace of pain, and then the electrical impulse pierced through the whole team. Shaking in convulsions, strangers spinned in place, having ceased to distinguish between the top and the bottom. - I told you - it will shake you up! - the old man, left unharmed, was laughing. – You like Master Caligari’s surprise show? Can’t do otherwise with the guys like you, apparently. Words can’t prove anything. He lifted the gate lever. The canvas crawled up with the creaking sound, clearing the driveway. - Poor Lloyd! They got him all right. Now they’re going to be twice as angry. Hey, what’s your name? Right, Blade, if you find him, don’t torture the guy! Caligari jumped behind the wheel and looked thoughtfully at the squad beating in convulsions. - Although... I don't care... Whistling, he pushed the gas pedal, crushed the Blade’s cabin while exiting the hangar, drove past the guards and disappeared in a cloud of dust.

Shaking when driving through the Wasteland is a common thing. You won’t find good shock absorbers these days. But Gurt didn’t care that he occasionally bumped his head against the low roof of the cabin. He was worried, excited and ready for feats — after all, he was traveling with the chief! Pete, seeing the enthusiasm in the fighter’s eyes, decided that he should clarify the situation to him.
— Listen up. You are riding with me because you and I will move to the island together. The rest will be waiting on the shore, got it?
— As you say! But why? Is that a really scary place? And what is this place anyway?
Pete paused, staring thoughtfully at the road ahead. Then, apparently deciding to let Gurt fully know what was going on, he began to speak: “There is nothing there that would crawl, walk or jump, if that’s what you mean. And all in all, the place is great, the landscapes there are awesome, a real still life. It’s just that we shouldn’t attract any unwanted attention.”
— So, how do we get to the island? We don’t have these flyers or whatever they’re called... Hovers, right! — Gurt once heard about miraculous devices hovering above the ground instead of driving on it.
— We don’t need them, there are remnants of a bridge from the mainland. It’s on its last legs, the heavyweights are unlikely to pass it. But we have to. We fall from the bridge - we are done, there’s only acid around, there’s no water in the lake there for a long time. But there is water on the island.
Then Gurt heard a story about a place that is most often called the Clean Island from the chief. “It’s just a little dirty around it, heh” — Pete added. He said that in this place are the ruins of a water purification plant, which was built before the cataclysm. “We’re almost the same age with this plant, sorta,” — said the chieftain with a certain pride in his voice. “A couple of years ago, the Dawn’s eggheads repaired water filters there. They planted vegetables, potatoes and such and lived almost like in the old world!’
Gurt didn’t really believe that someone could really grow potatoes. He only heard about it from the stories of old people who managed to live before the cataclysm and hadn’t perished after it. But he really didn’t want to argue with the chief, so he just continued to listen.
“They didn’t sit on all this stuff for long,” — Pete continued. — Rumors about such miracles spread quickly, and there were far too many of those who wanted to loot the place. The problem was — no one knew exactly where this island was located. And the one who spoke was, you guessed it, another four-eyed! His name’s Lloyd or something. He has some kind of beef with Dawn’s, I don’t know the whole story. But he gave away the coordinates of this place to everyone he could. Obviously, all the gangs in the area moved to force the eggheads to share, — Pete gasped. — And so did I.”
— And why did Lloyd speak? Certainly not just out of hatred, though. — Gurt dared to interrupt the chief’s story.
— I heard that he took those filters from there, while the islanders were fighting off the attacks. But I know him, he could just want to arrange a surprise for them, trust me, — Pete answered with obvious admiration in his voice. — He’s a rat!
The chief was silent for a while, clearly inspired by the heroic story he told. Gurt, too, silently looked at the road through the crack in the armor. Small vegetation began to occasionally appear around, and this could only mean one thing — the target was already close.
— And what happened to the island? Who owns it now?
— Nobody! Nobody can hold it. There’s still only one working filter left, but as soon as someone occupies the island, others immediately come, and the carnage begins. Letting someone strong to dig in there means losing a source of water for the rest of the area, you know? They go there in small groups so they won’t provoke others. We have not so many fighters to organize raids, but we need a lot of water. So everything must be done nice and clean, — Pete replied much more seriously. — The island is constantly being watched by peepers, and when they see a whole squad driving into the plant, they’ll definitely start squealing.
For the rest of the way, both the chief and Gurt were silent. Apparently, Pete was considering the details of a plan to smuggle a huge cistern of water from the island, and his chosen assistant tried to convince himself that the plan was not arrogant and insane, but genius, and that they would both definitely return to their comrades without receiving a single scratch. However, he could hardly believe it.
***
"...All right, let’s move out. Take a couple of wrenches for 12, a crowbar, a generator and a winch from the wagon and drag them into the car. I’ll brief the people so they won’t meddle, and we’ll move."
With these words Pete got out of the car and moved towards the crowd of Lunatics, gradually getting out of the armoured vehicles. Gurt brought everything that the chief listed, and decided to walk a little to stretch his stiff legs.
The gang stopped at the top of a cliff that stretched far in both directions. At the bottom of the cliff, a lake of a quite natural reddish hue for these places began — acid. In the central part of this toxic swamp, there was indeed a small patch of land that was unusually rich in greenery. Among the tall grass and bushes were several gray boxes, apparently the buildings of a water treatment plant.
The further road laid across a dilapidated bridge that led directly to the island. Now Gurt saw with his own eyes another reason why Pete didn’t want to lead the group on a raid in full force. There were bent pins of rebar sticking out of the crumbled bridge frame, and the loud creaking sound of its supports, swaying in the wind, gave no confidence that the structure could withstand even a human weight, let alone a heavy armoured car. But as long as Pete was confident that his car would pass here, Gurt was ready to try.
The fighter was well aware that the chances of returning safe and sound, and taking a full tank of water with him, were slim. But Pete’s confidence about this job gave strength to Gurt as well. In the end, they had no other choice, and he had long wanted to somehow prove himself in front of the gang. “A trip to this Clean Island should be my triumph,” — Gurt concluded mentally.
— Well, where are you? Come on, we don’t have much time, — Pete had already finished his speech to his subordinates and was now waiting for the fighter at the car. — It’s time to remind the area who the Lunatics are!
Gurt woke up from his thoughts and hurried to the armoured car. You cannot make the chief wait for too long.

The start of the new season is close, and today we will tell you in more detail what other new parts can be expected in the future update. Let us remind you that the first part of this blog can be found HERE.
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all.
“Special” activatable melee weapon
This unusual melee weapon requires certain skills from its owner, but it fully rewards the mastery! Its main features are that in order to inflict damage, the weapon must be activated and it deals not melee, but thermal damage. Don’t forget that the weapon needs to cool down and reload, so always keep in mind a plan for maneuvers or a stealthy retreat during this time!
“Epic” autonomous drone
Our guests know how to surprise. It seems that we have already seen everything, but we certainly haven’t! How do you like a weapon capable of launching a special drone to the area you selected? What if it highlights the target with a laser pointer while attacking? And what if it inflicts increased damage in the first seconds of its activity? Move around the battlefield with caution, because you can always expect such “surprises” from your opponents!
“Legendary” minelayer
Here is another part that can cause trouble for enemies at a distance. This launcher will hurl special mines to the area you selected, and a turret will harpoon enemies within its area of effect. The cable itself is not difficult to break, but that is not the point: an electric current is passed through the cable, causing damage and slowing down the enemy’s vehicle. And, what’s more interesting — you can launch the mines even while being invisible. Do you feel that there is a lot of room for tactical actions and new ways to destroy enemies, both in a team and by yourself?
“Epic” tracking system
This cunning device won’t allow your enemies to go invisible or flee in an unknown direction. If a homing projectile hits and attaches to the enemy, then its location is automatically highlighted on the map and minimap for a certain time period.
“Legendary” cabin
It’s fair to say that we are used to the fact that heavy cabins are somehow associated with slowness and / or sluggishness. This legendary cabin is ready to challenge all preconceptions! Its unique feature will temporarily increase the power of not only the engine of your chosen ally, but your own engine too. And our special offer for vehicles with heavy cabins: increase of not only the engine power, but also the maximum cabin speed!
Of course, in addition to the parts above, there will be new structural parts, each of which we will be able to consider in more detail with the release of the update. The start of the event is scheduled for next week!
See you in the next season!

Once Scar AB found an old magazine with images of cars that existed before the events of Crossout, and now he wants to assemble a collection of such cars. Many cars in this world are gone, and so survivors are invited to assemble a car similar to the one depicted in the photo.
The 4 best entries will be selected, and their authors will receive a reward of 300 coins and an epic "Amusement container"!
Assignment: Recreate the following car, install all-wheel drive and off-road tires, use plasma emitters as weapons; installation of armour and vehicle’s cover is at the discretion of the authors, the main condition is to maintain a recognizable appearance.
I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the popcorn kernel that gets stuck in your teeth! I am Alex Murch, leading the watch specifically for the “Voice of the Wasteland” text radio.
More of our guests have arrived. They seem to be gearing up for something big. An attack, perhaps? Judging by the line of provisions, equipment, weapons and spare parts for armoured vehicles arriving, more than one hundred aliens are planning to arrive here. According to my estimates, it’ll take them at least a week just to sort out everything that has arrived. And what will happen next — only the Emperor knows. Oh, don’t you know the legend of the Emperor? All right, I’ll tell you. But not today.
Today we have:
Checking cameras near the “Plateau, already occupied by a group of strangers” (user choice);
Last episode’s top comment.
And we'll start from the end. The comment, spelling and punctuation preserved, looks like this:
“So Elon’s wheels have arrived”
And what can I say? That you are strange people! You posted the comment, but forgot to explain it. I had to buy out some old magazine from Scar AB, in which both this Elon and the wheels were mentioned in one sentence. And I could’ve just read in the commentary and at least understand what I captured:
Elon’s wheel or, as it is sometimes called, the “Swedish” wheel is a rolling-based wheel that allows transport to move in any direction. It got its name from the Swedish inventor Bengt Ilon, who created it. The idea to create such a wheel came to him in 1973, when he worked as an engineer in the Swedish company “Mecanum AB”.
Now I know that those guys will not only be armed, but also equipped with very cool things. So I’ve walked around the markets and heard so much: about both the new gun, and about these wheels (there I was able to show off my knowledge from magazines, however, I immediately stopped when asked about characteristics), and about wheels with negative camber (I will call them “angular”), and about a small, but quite interesting cabin. But I suppose you heard all this yourself. But what you didn’t hear and see is the next shot which I waited for sixteen hours in a row.
Everything was so boring that I wanted to break my promise and check the cameras in another place, I really wanted to shoot something new... And I have to be on the front lines of news and rumors! And so, towards one of the cameras, IT appeared. Undertrailer - supertruck! I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but I’ll get it! After all, this is an almost ready-made mobile radio broadcasting station, just drag the equipment into the back, put the printer... Where was I? Oh yes, the picture: While I dream of changing the scenery, you answer the question: “Well, survivors. What are we going to observe this week?”
Road to the mountain in the south;
Road to the mountain in the east;
Plateau, already occupied by a group of strangers;
Anything at all;
My own pantry.
