This is not the first time nomads have encroached on our territory. Rumour has it that in the north, in the metropolis ruins there is something so terrible that even Lunatics are afraid to go there.

And now the fun part! Scavengers are willing to fork out a tidy sum to any mercenary who ensures safe passage of an armoured truck that is making the run. Just do not ask what they are carrying and why they're not changing the route despite the danger.

The German city of Cologne recently hosted the largest game show in Europe — Gamescom 2016. Several hundred thousand people attended the show to see the latest innovations in the world of computer games. Two new projects were waiting for them at the Gaijin Entertainment stand. Thousands of players were able to try their hand as mechanics and fighters in tournaments and the latest game modes of the online post-apocalyptic action game: Crossout. Superheated team fights and battles for survival attracted a huge crowd of fans to the stage. Gamescom visitors could also be among the first to see the premier — naval battles in War Thunder.





A real, custom built armoured car, created by our team of friends Morlock Motors aka Steel Buddies, and armed wasteland warriors helped the visitors experience the atmosphere of the game.Spectators were in for a great show with prizes and gifts. Every 30 minutes, raffles with a wide variety of prizes took place on stage — souvenirs and access codes to CBT of Crossout and the War Thunder fleet, to first-class gaming peripherals from Roccat, as well as graphics cards and computers from ZOTAC.





Everyone could follow the events on the stage live on Crossout channels on Twitch. Streams were live from the first to the very last day. During streams we showed all the new features added to the Crossout universe over the past year. Spectators selected the best vehicles from the exhibition live, and visitors of the stand were using them in battles. Winners received valuable prizes directly at the stand. You can see the battles in recorded Twitch streams.

Well, Gamescom 2016 is over, but we still have a lot of interesting things ahead. Crossout closed beta is ongoing. The game will also be available in ‘Early access’ on Steam. You will see new maps, new game modes, new items, and other features.

An abandoned raider settlement has been discovered near to the Eastern Array. Yes, the one where Scavengers ride their armoured trucks. The Raiders have departed in an unknown direction. Apparently, those mercenaries who have already managed to visit the substation can make some serious profit.

Radio relay station ‘Control-17’ was actively used by military units, blocking the infected metropolises of the North. The station was also an important part of the big ‘Eastern array’, which connected central regions with the affected industrial centres on the periphery.

According to old maps, the area around station ‘Control-17’ holds one of the secret entrances to an extensive network of underground military bunkers in the North. This was the planned location for a new control centre in case of war and emergency situations. Perhaps the automated shelters deep underground still house a few survivors from among the high-ranked officials, their families, and senior military leadership.
