Valentine's Day Event 2023 – Event Guide
Cookie Factory is back!
Stop Derek from kidnapping children and poisoning sweets and candies.

Chocolate Meister's House and Chocolate Storage
Open the doors to Chocolate Meister's House and the Chocolate Storage by playing the initial questline. It starts at NPC Floran at Port of the Winds. The quest will show up for all players Level 30+.
Chocolate Meister's House (Event Map F6 Mode)
To access this mode you need to have Tickets to Chocolate Meister's House (F6) [2020] in your inventory. They're working like the defense orders. One is needed for a party size up to 2 players and two tickets are needed for parties of 3 and 4 players. The tickets can be obtained from the initial questline and as a world drop (by killing any monster).

No Perfect Hunches are needed to get the directions guessing rewards. Instead you will need Magical Flower Bouquets. You can obtain Magical Flower Boxes containing up to 3 Magical Flower Bouquets by killing monsters on any hidden (scroll) map. Those hidden scrolls are dropped by any boss of the regular mission maps. Hidden maps are available for all level ranges. When you are asked to guess the monster direction you can use the Magical Flower Bouquet to always have a right guess.
For every right guess you will be rewarded with the following:

5 Valentine Silver Coins can be traded at NPC Gordon in Port of the Winds to obtain a Valentine's Silver Accessory Box. This box can contain a part of the Lovely Silver Accessory Set or a Valentine's Day consumable item.

You can trade in 2 specific parts of the Lovely Silver Accessory Set to get one Lovey Gold Accessory Set part at NPC Gordon.

10 Valentine Gold Coins can be traded at NPC Gordon for a Amor Box. This box randomly contains a part of the Cupid Set or the Amor Angel Set.

20 Valentine Gold Coins can be traded at NPC Gordon for an [Event] Styling Pink Box. This box randomly contains a part of the [Event] Styling Pink Set.

Please know that all boxes are fully restricted.
At Stage 5 and Stage 10 you get a stage end reward similar to the mission result rewards. You will get 4 random rewards out of the following:
• Money Bag Gasha Box containing a gold bag with a random amount of gold
• Armor Enchant Dust Gift Box (4 ea)
• Weapon Enchant Dust Gift Box (2 ea)
• Soul Gift Box (14 ea)
• Valentine Balloon Box containing a random Valetine's Day Balloon
• Valentine Accessory Box containing a random Valentine's Day Costume Accessory
• EXP Double Up potion (10 mins)

Chocolate Storage (Event Map F1 Mode)
During the questline you will be send into the F1 Mode several times.

As end reward you get the following:

Cookie Ingredients Box
The Sweets Ingredients Box obtainable in the Chocolate Meister's House (F6) mode contains 2 of each of the Cookie Recipie ingredients: Flour, Almond, Marshmellow, Stick, Chocolate, Butter, Milk, Powder Sugar, and 5 Valentine Recipe Boxes

Valentine Recipe Box
The recipe box can be obtained from the F1 Mode and is given by Cookie Ingredient Boxes.

Couple Questline
When playing as a couple or married couple and after completing the quest "Proof of Love" you will be able to start a questline especially for couples to obtain parts of this year's valentine's day event costume set. For finishing the last quest of this quest line you will get the Valentine's Day achievement (Be my Valentine), 2 Love Message Cards, 5 Love Love Warps and a Valentine's Pet Gift Coupon. With this coupon you can get one of three Valentine Pets:
• Ms. Gingerbread
• ChocoChop
• Lovely Woodie
All three pets are ordinary pets at level 20 and need normal Pet Food to be kept alive. You can sell the pet eggs in the open-market, but once the pet egg is opened the pet itself is fully restricted.

Valentine Balloon Box
This box contains randomly one of the following balloons:
• Cupid Balloon
• Heart Balloon
• Love Chocolate Balloon
• Valentine Love Balloon
• Cloud Nine Balloon
• I Love you Balloon

Valentine Costume Accessory Box
This box contains randomly one of the following accessories:
• Anti Love Mark Hat
• Strawberry Pudding Hat
• Creme Cake Hat

• Chocolate Gloves
• Valentine's Day Backpack

Valentine Wing Box
This box contains the Valentine Versions of the following Flapping Wings:

The Tickets (F6), the Magical Flower Bouquets, the Magical Flower Box, the Valentine Costume Accessory Box, the Valentine Ballon Box, the Valentine Wing Box and the Big IM Consumable Boxes are fully restricted including account vault restriction.
The event runs until February 22, 11:00 Server Time.

Important Change (read carefully):
Due to recurring bad happenings during the last years the Styling Pink special grade set has been made soulbound. Happenings were for example stealing the set from the guild vault and selling it, lending the set and not giving it back and more.
This change means that the set items will be soulbound to the next character which will equip it. That change affects special grade Styling Pink sets which are already in the game as well.

Groundhog Mini Filler Event
This event has ended. Event items can still be exchanged for another week.[/b]

QoL Update: Durability Death Penalty removed
Gear is no longer losing durability when dying. It has been decided to remove this behavior to help people with low amount of gold (especially at the beginning of the game) to save the repair costs.

Groundhog Mini Filler Event
Before the Valentine's Event is starting next week we celebrate the Groundhog day. Is spring already around the corner or will the winter stay a bit longer?
Kill monsters at the usual locations to get Red Horned Dragon Skulls and grab yourself a Groundhog Balloon and a Groundhog Hat (50 Silver Coins and 20 Red Horned Dragon Skulls each).
This event runs until February 8, 11:00 Server Time.

Element Damage dealing End-Bosses
We have added element damage to the last bunch of end bosses:
- Paris (Specter's Tower) now deals 150 Dark Element Damage

- Bone Frag (Graveyard 30 and 35) now deals 70 Dark Element Damage
- Katler (Graveyard 30 and 35) now deals 70 Dark Element Damage
- Ratler (Graveyard 30 and 35) now deals 35 Nature Element and 35 Dark Element Damage
- Kajimodo (Graveyard 30 and 35) now deals 100 Dark Element Damage
- Anukus (Graveyard 35) now deals 40 Fire Element and 80 Dark Element Damage

General Fixes and Changes
- Bugfix: Fixed a bug that the name of the Little Devil Pet is shown below the pet instead of being shown above the pet.

Lunar New Year Event – Year of the Rabbit
This event continues until February 1, 11:00 Server Time.

QoL Update: Gold Pouches
With the Gold Pouches QoL update we offer a safe way to transfer gold between your characters on the same account. At NPC Sofia you are now able to select a menu called Gold Pouch. If you select that menu entry you will be able to purchase gold pouches worth 100 gold, 500 gold, 1,000 gold, 5,000 gold, 10,000 gold, 50,000 gold and 100,000 gold – of course you pay the same amount for purchasing them they are worth. The specialty of these items is, that you can put them into your account vault and take them out no matter if your account vault is active or not. This way you are able to share these pouches through all of your characters on the same account which offers a safe way to share your gold your characters on the same account.

User Interface Update: News Feed

We have added a News Feed to the Channel Selection screen after Login and during Change Channel ingame. If there are no news there is no News Feed window shown. If there are multiple news, they are automatically changed after 5 seconds. If you want to read the news which is currently shown, you just have to hover over the news window and it stays for you to read until you move your mouse cursor off the news window. When your mouse cursor is on the news window, arrow buttons are shown as well where you can go the next or previous news quickly.
Some of the news have a READ MORE text shown, when you click on it, further info is shown in your web browser.

X-Mas Calendar Event
Since December, 1st the NPCs at Port of the Winds have a small gift for you.
Everyday another NPC at PoW will have a Christmas Gift for you. Just go and grab it once per day for each character which is Level 40+. You will get one gift everyday until December 25th.

X-Mas 12 Days of Christmas Questline
The 12 Days of Christmas Questline has started on December 14, 0:00 Server Time. It is available at the Santa NPC so make sure you already rescued him.

X-Mas Event 2022
The X-Mas Event will bring you back the X-Mas Mission Map. The event lasts until December 28, 11:00 Server Time.

X-Mas Quest Line The Gift of Christmas
Starting at December 19, 0:00 Server Time a special daily event quest will be available at Port of the Winds. You can get it from The Princess of the Town NPC. It is a seven days long questline which can only be completed if you accept and complete the daily event quest. Each quest will only be available for 24 hours and there is no possibility to take them later. You have to accept and complete each of them on the day they appear. Each of the quests comes with a special clue which is shown to you by Princessia's quest dialog on completion so make sure you do not skip the quest dialog and read it and remember what the NPC told you. You will need it to complete the whole questline. You will not be able to solve the final quest without completing all 7 daily quests yourself. The hints of other players will do nothing for you. If you skipped a day the last quest will not show up for you and you won't be able to get anything. This questline is available for all characters Level 40+ and it is fully intended that the last quest does not have a quest indicator nor will not appear in the quest lists or journal. This is because you are on a gift hunt which requires all seven clues to be able to find the Gift of Christmas. The 7th clue will be available on December 25 and you have to find the last quest on the same day. It will disappear on December 26, 0:00 Server Time. If you think you found what you have to look for, stand in front of it and press your NPC interaction key (default is Space). Good hunting!

- Bugfix: Fixed a bug where the flags on the channel selection background is always showing the EU flag, no matter which region is shown
- Bugfix: Minor bugfixes of the new channel selection screen
- Bugfix: The friend list now shows the channel name for friends being online instead of the channel number

Main Questline
After completing 6 quests you will be able to run F5 Scenario Mode daily to obtain 1 Big IM Consumables Box and one collectable X-Mas item which can be exchanged for a X-Mas Costume Box.

The 12 Quests of Christmas
Beginning with December, 14th you will get a new quest of the quest collection "The 12 Quests of Christmas" daily until December, 25th. The "job" for each of these quests is all around the X-Mas Event Mission Map. The quests can be done until December 26, 23:59 Server Time. Every quest gives you 1 Big IM Consumables Box and one collectable X-Mas item which can be exchanged for a winter themed car mount (Winter Rover) or a winter themed sheep mount (Frosty Flix). Also you will get a brand new X-Mas achievement.
Please notice that the car/sheep is neither tradable/sellable nor account vaultable.

Drop Event
Collect Santa Christmas Boxes (2022) which need to be opened with Santa Key (2022). The key can be obtained by exchanging it for Burned Cookies (see below).
The box randomly gives you one of the following:

Please notice that all collectible items are neither tradable/sellable nor account vaultable.

User Interface Update: Channel Selection
The Channel Selection Screen has been adjusted to match the new login screen. Please note that now the channel region with the best ping is sorted to the top. In-Game the channels are now shown with their names (e.g. US 1, US 2, EU 1, EU 2, etc.) instead of numbers.
Please keep in mind that due to the sorting the channel shown for you at the 2nd position might not be show at the 2nd position in the Channel Selection for your friends. So use the channel names instead of a channel number if you want to party up with your friends.
