Summer is here and the temperature is rising. What could be better than going to the beach, jumping into the cool water and enjoying the summer sun, looking at all the palm trees while having a cool Pineapple Drink and listening to some Reggae Music? The full Jamaica feeling hits Port of the Winds – the whole day – and from dusk til dawn. But the summer in Dragon Saga is more than just being lazy! Fight monsters and get some nice event stuff! Take your gear and help the small baby dragon Yongha out with his problem at the Summer Wave Coast. A lot of nice stuff is awaiting you.

When entering Summer Wave Coast an instanced map with end reward boxes is ready for you. The map can be entered starting with Level 25. The levels of the monsters are auto scaling to the level of the party leader. The map can only be entered if the level difference of all party members is not higher than 5 levels.
Some of the monsters are dropping an item which can be traded with the Baby Dragon NPC Yongha for one of four boxes containing random stuff:

•Cool Summer Costume Box
contains 2 different event costumes which are fully tradable, but soulbound once equipped

•Cool Summer Rummage Box
contains a lot of summer accessory stuff including some highlights (Paris Wing Mood Box, Wings of Darkness, Lightness and Sunrise).
Additionally the box can contain a Melony Balloon which increases Enchant and Soulcraft Success Chance by 4%

•Cool Summer Pet Box
contains some summer pet (regular pets, not support pets) and can yield the Melony Pet

•Tropical Weapon Box
contains an event IM weapon (Lv.20) for a random class with some stats

As reward for completing the map after killing the boss you can get the following:

General Fixes and Changes
- Kryos Origins Ice Dungeon: The heal skill of the Pengou miniboss has been adjusted to be casted less and having a longer cooldown time.
- Dungeon of Destiny: After over a month of familiarization phase the final quest of the Kryos Origins Ice Dungeon (Back to the Future) is now a prerequisite to enter the Dungeon of Destiny
- Dungeon of Destiny: The minbosses in DoD now deal element damage: Jackomo deals 2500 Nature Element Damage, Firefiend deals 2500 Fire Element Damage, Karacho deals 2500 Dark Element Damage and Taiphoon deals 2500 Ice Element Damage.
- Drako's Tower: Paris now deals 1000 Dark Element and 500 Fire Element Damage.
- Vending Machine: On community request, the Popcorn Balloon has been added. It can be obtained by exchanging 1 Silver Coin.
- Bugfix: The Dragonkin Skill Area Spell (Lv. 6-10) has been fixed. It now gives +61%, +62%, +64%, +67% and +70% Def.

Mag ich! Event
Addition: For one week (until the Mag ich! Event ends) you will we able to exchange Mag ich! items for either a Wunny Mount Egg (Doctor Parrell's Mysterious Mount Egg) – 50 Mag ich! – for an [Event] Mini Wunny Support Pet Egg – 50 Mag ich! – or for a Corny (a tiny horse what the player is riding backwards – called Doctor Parrell's 2nd Mysterious Mount Egg) – 25 Mag ich! All three are coming with event only stats.

The Wunny Mount and the Mini Wunny can be upgraded to a high stat mount resp. support pet at NPC Amy when using the Pet upgrader IM Item. The Corny can not be upgraded.

Keep in mind, that the Wunny Mount is not a mount while the Mini Wunny cannot be mounted and is a
support pet.

Snowy Mountain Map - Redesign
We are proud to tell that our mapmaker has completely redesigned the Snowy Mountain Map. The Map is now less confusing and easier to walk through.

With that the daily quests regarding Desert Worms have been adjusted to the changed amount of Desert Worms monsters on the map.

General Fixes and Changes

- QoL Update: a so-called Monster Blocking Wall has been added in front of the guard NPC at the entrance of Traitors Ridge and in front of NPC Veron at the entrance of Ice Rock Hill (Past) to prevent monsters to attack you while talking to the NPC.

- Bugfix: Ice Dungeon: Fixed a bug which caused the drop chance of Snow Dust being lower when playing the expert mode.

- Adjustment: The calculation formula of the monster difficulty in Expert Modes has been changed.

- Adjustment: The Dressy Devil Costume and the Spiritual Shaman Costume have now the same restriction like all other artifact grade costumes.

Mag ich! Event
We are an international server. Because of this Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Magma Dungeon, Galaxy Dungeon, Element Dungeons and Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary are dropping "Mag ich!" Items. You can collect them and trade them at the Vending Machine for a part of the I Like! Accessory Set.

Kryos Origins – Neve Update
We have made 2 changes to Neve: The shape of Neve's hit area has been changed the way that Neve can now be better hit by certain skills. Additionally a Teleport Skill has been added which allows Neve to teleport to another location from time to time.

- Bugfix: Fixed a bug causing that Ice Dragon Gear Set parts were no longer socketable. The Ice Dragon Gear Set parts can now be socketed again.
- Vending Machine: The balloons in the Vending Machine have been replaced. You can now get the Paris Ballon and the Bone Dragon Balloon for 10 Silver Coins each.

Kryos Origins – Update

NPC Dr. Tesler Quest: Time Travel? and Time Travel? (2)
The Dr. Tesler Quests Time Travel? and Time Travel? (2) have changed a bit.

To complete Time Travel? you only need to show Tesler 4 Parts of your Ice Dragon Equipment (Soulbound): Top, Bottom, Gloves and Shoes but additionaly he wants 50 Snow Dust from the Frozen Dimension now.

To complete Time Travel? (2) you now need to show Tesler 3 Parts of your Ice Dragon Equipment (Soulbound): Helmet, Shoulders and Weapon and additionaly he wants 70 Snow Dust from the Frozen Dimension.
Snow Dust is a drop from Monsters you can find at the Frozen Dimension Maps of the Kryos Origins Ice Dungeon. The drop rate is 3%. Snow Dust cannot be sold or traded to other players but sold to Shop NPCs for 30 silver each.

General Fixes and Changes

- Item Mall: The item Defender's Package has been removed because it's a useless item
- Bugfix: The Armored Golem at Red Fox Delta does not receive any status effects anymore and cannot be "flinched". This has been fixed due to consistency with other boss monsters.
- Bugfix: The Snow Queen at the Advanced Stage of the Ice Element Dungeon does not receive any status effects anymore and cannot be "flinched". This has been fixed due to consistency with other boss monsters.
- Bugfix: The 3rd Mini Boss of the Kryos Ice Dungeon now takes his spawned monsters with him when he dies.
- Change: The following items: Neve's Magic Essence, Concentrated Serpents Force, Star Fragment, all of the zodiac Star Stones, all of the zodiac Fragments, the Constellation Ring and all parts of the Ice Dragon Set for every class can not longer be player traded, (COD)-mailed or put into the guild vault. They are still able to be sold using the open market.
- Textfixes: The auto-loot option Medal has been replaced by Other. The original text was a mistranslation. Other several minor textfixes.
- Change: Miniboss monster images have been added to the Dungeon of Destiny Entry dialog. The final boss image is not shown on purpose.
- Fix: Removed a wrong event portal at Port of the Winds

Every box costs 10 Purple Coins.

Kryos Origins – Update

NPC Dr. Tesler Quest: Time Travel? (2)
After you have completed Time Travel? by showing Dr. Tesler at Arcadia City the 5 soulbound Parts of your Ice Dragon Set you are now able to start Time Travel? (2). By showing him the soulbound Ice Dragon Shoulders and Ice Dragon Weapon he will give you a [Normal] 5th Hero Weapon for your class.

The 3rd Mini Boss – New Attack
The 3rd Mini Boss inside the Ice Castle has gotten a new attack. He can now summon companions to help him fight. These are intentional not giving any EXP or drops.

General Fixes and Changes
- Textfixes: Several text mistakes have been corrected
- Ice Dungeon: Monsters inside the Ice Dungeon are now dropping money and event items
- Ice Dungeon: The wrong description text at the entry portal has been removed and the images of the important monsters have been added.
- Graphics: The lighting of the moving objects inside City Hall Sewers, Kundara Dungeon and Magma Dungeon should have been fixed.

Dragon Saga Evolved – Kryos Origins

Did you ever wanted to know why Kryos is only a weak Mission Map boss instead of being a furious Dungeon Boss? Finally you can get the answer. Take a journey into the past lands of Dragon Saga and find out!

This Update contains the following:
- a whole new Dungeon
- 2 new Field Maps
- a Lv. 75 Gear Set: the Ice Dragon Set for every class which can be gotten from the Dungeon
- a new Lv. 75 Ice Weapon which can hold Soul Gems
- a new Storyline consisting of 36 brand new quests
- 2 new Lv. 80 Elemental Defense/Attack Wings for you to farm (you will find the Trade at NPC Edward at Dragon Valley or Edge of the World). The needed ingredient can be obtained from the new dungeon.
- one grindable support pet which can be obtained as rare dungeon drop – the [Event] Punkuin Support Pet. Even though it is called [Event] it will not be removed from the dungeon. The [Event] just indicates that the pet comes with the lower event stats.
You can start the needed quest for the storyline at NPC Colin at Ellora Camp. Make sure you have completed the pre-quest Colder than a death.

If you have made your way up to Destiny's Dungeon with Lv. 84 you have the possibility to show NPC Dr. Nikola Tesler your Ice Dragon Set (Helmet, Top, Botton, Gloves and Shoes) and he will exchange it for a box with a complete [Normal] Fifth Hero Set. You just have to accept his quest "Time Travel?" and for sure you need to have the Ice Dragon Sett worn, means the 5 parts must be soulbound.

To celebrate the new content every account got a Gift Box in it's account vault containing a lot of useful and helpful stuff.
You can find it at the last slot on the last page of your account vault. Even if you don't own an account vault you can take it out. Make sure that you take it out with the character you want to use the items with. They cannot be traded.

1st EU Comeback Anniversary
One year has passed since the DragonSaga players from Europe – the Heroes in Exile – were able to come back to the world of DragonSaga.

We thought this would be a great opportunity to celebrate this with a special event to every player on this server – to the ones who stayed with us for all this time and for the ones who were finally able to return last year after three years of being in exile.
The players of the world united again and everyone is still welcome, no matter from which country they come.

For all Dragon Saga Players of the World!

This event will last two weeks filled with different types of events:
Grind Event, 2 Questchains, a special EXP Event and hopefully a lot of fun!

Questchain #1
Player's of the World Unite (Level 20+)
Start NPC is Pororing at the monument at Port of the Winds

Questchain #2
The World's Emblems (Level 25+)
Start NPC is Pororing at the monument at Port of the Winds

Hint: Every quest gives you a special item. You should keep them!

The 2 weeks this event is running are representing all the seasons to come in which we will play together. Both questchains will reveal one new quest every few days as follows:

Questchain #1:
1st Quest "Fly like a Butterfly!" (Sprint) starts on May 18.
2nd Quest "Like Ice in the Sunshine" (Summer) starts on May 22.
3rd Quest "All the Leaves are Brown" (Fall) starts on May 25.
4th Quest "Frosty the Snowming" (Winter) starts on May 28.

one of the 4 rewards is the Welcome Back Balloon. When this balloon is equipped on the IM or Costume Page, it changes the appearance of the chat bubble.



Questchain #2:
1st Quest "The World's Emblems (1)" starts on May 18.
2nd Quest "The World's Emblems (2)" starts on May 21.
3rd Quest "The World's Emblems (3)" starts on May 24.
4th Quest "The World's Emblems (4)" starts on May 27.
5th Quest "The World's Emblems (5)" starts on May 29.

For the 2nd questchain you need Books of Magic which are dropped by Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary.

The reward for this questchain is a Unity event themed Cat Car mount (in White). It has Event stats.
This Cat Car can be upgraded by using the Pet Upgrader from the Item Mall. The resulting Unity Cat Car mount can get high stats and comes with 3 colors: White (default), Gray and Black.
Please know that the new pet egg will get different stats.

All quests are available until June 1. The previous quest needs to be completed before it will appear on their particular starting date.

Grind the One Heart, One Soul, One World, One Game Balloon
You can exchange 30 Books of Magic at the Poroing NPC at the Port of the Winds Monument for that Balloon.

EXP Event
While the Players of the World Unite... again! event is running we have a special EXP bonus on the weekdays.

On the weekend days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) the regular weekend bonus EXP is given instead.

A gray version of this set with modern Advanced set stats is available at the BigWheel, a black version of this set with modern Artifact set stats is available at the MixBoard.

Big Unite Letter Event
Collect letterboxes by killing monsters inside Mission Maps (starting with Mirinae Sanctuary) and Dungeons (all modes, except for Magma Dungeon, Elements Dungeons, Galaxia Dungeons and Water Temple). When you open them you randomly get an alphabet block with a random letter. Build specific words from it and you can get boxes from the Vending Machine.

ELEMENT
You can get an Element Support Box which contains randomly:
2x Adv. Ice Element, 2x Adv. Fire Element, 2x Adv. Nature Element, 2x Dark Element,
2x Ice Bless, 2x Fire Bless, 2x Nature Bless, 2x Dark Bless and 2x Protection from Spirits (rare)

You can get an Adventurer's Support Box which contains randomly:

Original Unity [Event] Set Grind Event
Trade Books of Magic to our Vending Machine for a part of the [Event] Set of Unity – the original Unity set from the first ever Players of the World Unite! which took place in 2015 after the world came together to play on the last official worldwide Dragon Saga server. The only official server that ran without any interruption since 2010. Every part costs 20 Books of Magic.

The whole Players of the World UNITE! Event runs until June 1, 13:00 Server Time.
