Independence Trout Open
This is a brand new sport event with real money prize pool $1500. There are some key points every participant should know:
Tournament will be held July 1st - July 5th, with a day off on July 4th between the Semifinal and Final rounds.
Tournament will have following stages: registration, qualifiers, semifinal, final. (After each round we shall hold a result verification session)
Registration begins 24 hours prior to the Qualifiers.
Top 10 players of each Qualifier go to the next stage. You may participate in all three Qualifiers until you either Qualify or the Qualification period is over.
Top 10 players of Semifinal will go the Grand Finale.
The Top 3 players will get their share of the prize money in the Grand Finale.
Tournament will be held on lakes White Moose, Saint-Croix, Rocky and Falcon. All these lakes will be decorated with Tournament banners accordingly.
This Trout fishing Tournament implies Catch&Release fishing. Only 10 fish from your Keepnet qualify. You must release extra fish once over the limit.
All players who register in the Tournament will get the necessary Licenses and have player level restrictions lifted for the waterways in Tournament-related States. Even after the player is out, he can visit these States until the Tournament ends.
Tournaments will be available only for individuals of age 18+

The story has it, that on 4th of July 1796 many young fish were released into the lakes and rivers throughout North America to honor the 20th Anniversary of USA Independence. All these fish had a special anchor tag clipped onto their fins, marked with the year and President’s George Washington’s signature! So good luck at catching these living pieces of History!
Collect them all and add your name to the event leaderboards.
