Hired Ops is genuinely free to play with no hidden fees and no fancy deceptive tricks designed to compel you to go on a spending spree. Every single part of the fundamental game experience is free. On top of the base game, we will have monthly live updates, which will include lots of new content, contracts, weapons, items, new classes, and perks. Players who already have a copy of the game at the time of the transition to the new model will receive a form of gratitude for your support and trust in us.
During this transition to the new monetization model, users who have already purchased the game will be rewarded with a bonus, which is several times higher in value than the current game price, as well as unique premium weapons and camouflage for their in-game characters. With this update, all players will receive one legendary chest with legendary mods for every 10th character level achieved in the previous version of the game.
We will tell you more about the in-game store later, but for now we’ll note that the in-game store will mainly be items for customization of your PMCs, their weapons, equipment and appearance, experience boosters and in-game currency, as well as additional load-outs for you, so you can have several sets of gear ready for each class at any time. You don't have to purchase them, but if we have done our job well and you enjoy the experience, then we hope you will.
So, what is the brand new Hired Ops?
Your main task is to seize domination in the mercenary market world, taking part in combat operations and completing contracts in war zones around the world.
During the battle, you can improve your combat skills, buy and use additional weapons, ammunition, and specialized equipment. Use all the available arsenal for your preferred class to make your enemies change their tactics and fight under your terms.
You can expect dynamic firefights in all parts of the world, in seven different locations. A military base in Iran, a ghetto on the outskirts of Bangkok, a railway station in Kazakhstan, a coastal communications station in the Norvinsk region and other locations will become a place for battle and competition between BEAR and USEC operators.
The true mercenary spirit reigns in Hired Ops as each fighter picks suitable contracts, perform the most difficult tasks, and earns a reputation in the private military contractor market. The income, future contracts, and status among the other mercenaries depend only on the player. The higher the reputation the player achieves, the harder the tasks they can receive and collect more rewards.
Players can choose a fighter in one of the four different classes with its developed system of skills, and an arsenal of various weapons with a massive number of modifications. The game offers over 80 pieces of modern small arms weapons and over 100 different modules for them.
We worked hard to create a game that would be as accessible as possible to all players. Our ability to continue development depends entirely on your satisfaction with the gaming experience. We will keep improving the game in which your PMCs will travel the world, develop their history, and all this will be free. For us, this is a huge gamble, but your feedback always was and will always be very important to us. Many of you requested for a free-to-play model, so here it is! Q: Do you plan to have different ammo types for all weapons; not just shotguns? A: Yes, in a future update all weapons will have various types of ammunition: armor piercing, soft point, tracer, hollow point, incendiary, etc.
Q: Do you plan any developer events planned? How about live streams from time to time? A: We will definitely hold one stream - on the release of the update, if you like it, and we like it, then we see no reason not to repeat it.
Q: How many weapons are planned? A: On the release of the update will be about 60 samples of modern small arms.

With the release of the key update, we decided to breathe new life and meaning into the system of contracts, PMC operatives, and the "Contract Wars" themselves. Now, this is a big, closed, system - the corporations pursue their own interests by giving out suspicious orders on the market. The PMCs are performing them, increasing their reputation, your high reputation gives access to more complex and high-paying contracts. Maximum levels of reputation are welcome because of unique corporate rewards - camouflage, mods, and achievements. In the beginning, three corporations will be available:
KIBA ARMS INTERNATIONAL: An armory and consulting company, with offices in Russia and the USA. They are involved in the manufacturing of custom weapons, made to order, training military specialists of various skill sets (snipers, demolitionists). Recently, it has established itself as a general contractor in various defense departments around the world for the organization of private military operations and security procedures.
RUSTACT WORLDWIDE: Armory company from Moscow, Russia, which, besides developing and modifying weapons, also deals with private security services and training of security and military structures around the world, with the advanced handling of weapons and tactics.
TACTICAL INTERVENTION SOLUTIONS: A company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. This parent company, unites several companies, one of which, is one of the largest customers of private military company services.
Will there be cases in the game? If so, what can be obtained from them?
With cases everything is very simple and transparent. The cases will be. Of them can be obtain camouflage on operatives and weaponry, muzzle, sighting and tactical devices. Now " case” is a form of encouragement of the player for development and pumping within the game. The case can be obtained for a new level by performing the contract, buy in-game currency (which the player received playing the game). Starting with our major re-launch update, we intend to let you discover their story on your own through a series of operations — sets of rules, maps, events and non-stop PvP combat in the interests of transnational corporations and PMCs of the Russia 2028 world. With every new piece of plot-rigged action the tension will grow harder, spawning new flashpoints and changing the old ones forever, giving birth to the new corporations and bringing ruin to old ones, establishing new PMCs. The players will become the immediate drivers of these events, and it will be their joint decisions that will influence which way the Hired Ops universe will go.
Will there be unique rewards, for example, for buying a game in the earliest access, active participation in testing?
Yes, of course! We just have to say” Thank you " to our players, who supported us all these years, helped to test the game and make it better. It would be unfair if we forgot about them. Will the optimization of the game be improved compared to the current version? What are the approximate system requirements of the game?

Q: I'm curious to know at what stage of readiness is the update? What is the approximate release date?
A: The game is in the "polishing" stage. The update is scheduled for fall 2018.
The project is at the stage of active polishing of already implemented functionality. We have finished working on the main major elements of the game-Classes, intra-match pumping, Pvp operations with dynamic goals, the system of contracts and reputation, the progression of pumping operatives and weapons and the inclusion of an all new type of PVP experience where story is fuzed with gameplay .We will talk more about this feature at a later date. And now we are on the most important part of the development - Polish all this functionality to allow players to evaluate the game and not bugs. We are trying to give you the opportunity to play the new Hired Ops this fall with all possible speed for us but the quality of the experience is paramount.

Mercenaries, today we present to your attention the new Railroad Station map screenshots of the renewed Hired Ops. The map is currently in a work in progress state, and consists of several distinct parts. Today we will show you a modern two-level passenger station in the high-tech style, a symbol of new times. It features enough space for vigorous firefights, to employ a multitude of tactics. Two levels a numerous exits and passageways will give enough tactical space for quick-thinking players to take advantage of. Flickering neon ads and boards still remind of the peaceful life that have recently abandoned this place, after Terragroup invaded the city.
Gameplay-wise, the map features a lot of open spaces that shall offer a wide range of sniping possibilities, but also an equal amount of indoor premises where close contact classes like Assault would be more effective.
