Today is an incredibly exciting day for the team! We’re pleased to announce that Portal Knights is coming out of Early Access on April 28th 2017 and also heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! (Scheduled for launch on April 28th in Europe, then May 2nd in North America.)

A Big Thank You!
There’s so much we want to talk to you about, but let’s kick things off with talking about our current players… The teams at 505 Games and Keen would first like to thank our Early Access community for their incredible support over the last 11 months. It’s almost been a year since we launched onto Steam and the enthusiasm, feedback, encouragement and support we’ve received has been truly overwhelming. We’re so grateful to have you all on board and as cheesy as it sounds, you really do mean everything to us! The aim has always been to listen to our community and you’ve done an incredible job at helping us build Portal Knights from the foundation we laid back in February 2016. We’ve come a long way and we’re going to keep on pushing going forward. For that, we want to thank you!

Portal Knights - PC
So... You’re probably wondering what’s going to happen once Portal Knights leaves Early Access. Correct?

Well, you’ll be pleased to know that nothing’s going to change. We’re going to continue listening to our community and take your suggestions on board. The plan is to keep on updating Portal Knights in the same fashion we always have done and we really hope you guys stick with us. Simply because you’re awesome and you really do matter to us.

For those who have joined us already during Early Access on Steam, we want to thank you for your support. Early Access adopters have already been given the Pioneer Flag and Cape, but we want to give you something extra. Once Portal Knights leaves Early Access, we want to award our players with some bonus items! Stay tuned for more info.

As for the next major update, it’s coming! Our developers continue to work incredibly hard behind the scenes and we’ll update you with more info on v 0.8.0 in the near future. Watch this space!

Leaving Early Access
If you’re a PC player and you haven’t jumped on board yet, you might want to consider joining us before we leave Early Access. As a result of the amount of new content that has now been introduced to Portal Knights, once we leave Early Access there will be a price increase. BUT DO NOT PANIC! If you want to make a saving and take advantage of the bonus Early Access items, be sure to download Portal Knights before April 28th 2017. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! ;)

We’re super excited with what’s around the corner and there’s a bunch of awesome content coming to Portal Knights, in both the console edition and PC edition. Let us give you an insight into what you can expect…

Upcoming Content
We’re introducing split-screen to Portal Knights, something our players have been requesting for a while now and we’re making a bunch of changes and improvements to the RPG elements in-game. Not only that, but one of the biggest community requests is coming - The ability for players to explore different islands while in the same multiplayer session. This is something our team have been working really hard on behind the scenes and we cannot wait to finally bring it to game. Stay tuned for more info… We have so much coming up!

Exciting Times
Once again, we want to welcome the console community to Portal Knights and thank our existing PC community for the amazing level of support they’ve shown us! We’re entering an incredibly exciting time right now and we’re so grateful to have you all on board. It really does mean so much to us!
