Our card this month is very power hungry and willing to bargain to help her get what she wants. Molag Bal has gifted her with magicka to spare in addition to incredible prowess in combat and fortunately for you, she’s willing to share.
A bargain for just 7 magicka! An 8/8 is a huge body and if you manage to complete Pure-Blood Elder’s quest and reach 18 magicka, you’ll be handsomely rewarded with a 16/16 Breakthrough, the largest individual creature in all of Elder Scrolls Legends!
Even without playing any cards that synergize with her, Pure-Blood Elder will double the max magicka you gain at the start of every turn, so you’ll be fast approaching that 18 magicka mark and generate a ton of value just for leaving her in play as long as possible. Things start to get really nasty when you combine her with other ramp effects such as Tree Minder, Hist Grove or Spine of Eldersblood. With all that magicka, you’ll be emptying your hand quickly and smashing for 16 in no time!
And what’s even better than doubling your magicka gains? Quadrupling them of course! Get two of this bloodsucker into play and instead of gaining 1 magicka, you’ll be gaining 4, and let’s not even mention what’ll happen if you manage to get all 3 copies into play. (Okay, we’ll mention it, you’ll be getting 8 magicka) Of course, with all that magicka, you’ll probably want some powerful cards to spend it on. I hear that Heroes of Skyrim might have a few high cost Dragons that might be worth investing in…
Hop into the ranked queue to claim your copies of Pure-Blood Elder!

Friend Battles are now shown in the Match History of your Profile screen to track specific matchups during competitive events.
Card Bug Fixes
Shadowmere's Last Gasp ability fixed.
Companion Harbinger fixed to buff friendly Werewolves before any Prophecies are played.
Mage's Trick can now successfully be used on yourself to break your own rune.
Brilliant Experimenting a Silenced creature no longer gives you a Silenced copy.
Thieves' Den now works with creatures that have been Silenced.
When triggering Eclipse Baroness or Thieves Guild Recruit multiple times simultaneously, you will now draw the correct number of cards.
Whirling Duelist and Dragonstar Rider now correctly trigger when equipped with an Item by something in play (such as Corsair Ship).
General Bug Fixes
On mobile you can now cancel playing a non-targeted card by dragging it back to your hand.
On Android, pressing the back button from the home screen now exits the game.
Card Changes Any Soul Summoned copies of Soul Tear, Supreme Atromancer, Shield Breaker, Imprison, and Thief of Dreams can be Soul Trapped for their full value until September 9, 2017. Soul Tear to 3 cost
Powerful late game cards like Soul Tear can be very effective in slower matchups. Normally, cards like this are very costly to play when facing faster decks, but at 2 cost, Soul Tear was feeling a little too free. Supreme Atromancer and Expert Atromancer to 10 cost
Like Soul Tear, Supreme Atromancer offers so much late game power that it can push out other slow decks. These two cards contributed to a metagame that felt very hostile to slower midrange and control decks. With these two changes, metagame diversity should improve. Shield Breaker to 3 cost
Shield Breaker pushes a very uninteractive aggressive deck that tries to attack its opponent at every opportunity. Pushing it to 3 cost will encourage players to play more interactive aggressive decks. Imprison and Detain to 2 cost
At 1 cost, Imprison was proving too efficient a removal spell in heavy Willpower decks. Imprison will still feel very powerful when you play it with four creatures out, but the risks attached to it are a little bigger at 2 cost. Thief of Dreams to 4/4
Intelligence creatures that have powerful abilities usually sacrifice some stat points. At 5 cost 5/5, it did not feel like you were paying much for Thief of Dream’s ability. By moving Thief’s stats down to 4/4, it makes its stats line up more with other Intelligence creatures. Brynjolf to 4/5, Cliffisde Lookout to 2/5, Young Dragonborn to 3/3
We’re buffing a few build around cards by giving them an extra point of health. This should open up more options for synergistic decks.

Tomorrow we will be updating Legends with an incremental update. We anticipate maintenance beginning around 9am ET and taking a couple hours. Stay tuned for updates on @bethesdasupport on Twitter.
Note: Once we're out of maintenance, we'll be putting up a news story on the new changes in the game, including several updates to cards. As I will be on a flight to QuakeCon (woohoo!), I can tell you that the notes will likely surface first on legends.bethesda.net.
On behalf of the whole time, thanks in advance for patience!!
