Official Mod Support & Steam Workshop for Total War: WARHAMMER!

Calling all ‘Ummies to tune in to our Greenskin Campaign Live Stream where Joey and Mitch have a special announcement to make for Total War: WARHAMMER!

We are very pleased to announce that both the Assembly Kit and Steam Workshop support will be added to Total War: WARHAMMER! We are aiming to have it ready for launch day, but keep an eye on our social media channels for news and updates.

The developers here at Total War have also been working with modders Dresden and Magnar, aiming to have a Legendary Lord Start Position Mod and a Regional Occupation Mod ready on day one of the tool kit being available, although we do still hope you’ll initially play the game as designers intended.

The Chaos Warriors are possibly the most challenging race to play as, and have a frenzied need to dominate and exterminate anyone they encounter in the name of the Dark Gods. This often risks leaving them on a knife edge; in danger of over-stretching even their mightiest hordes into enemy territory.

Things are about to get Chaotic.

Do you like lists? Do you like achievements? Then, buddy, you’re in luck today because we have a list of achievements for you!

You can check them all out in detail and we’ll tell you where (spoiler: on our wiki, we’ll give you a link in a sec) but we’d first of all like to draw your attention to a special little achievement we’ve called ‘You vs. the Great Unclean Ones’.

It’s a rare achievement that you can only get by defeating someone from Creative Assembly in multiplayer, or by defeating someone who has the achievement… so yes, we are the Great Unclean Ones in this analogy. Shut up. Some of us shower.

If you’re thinking that this sounds impossible, well, think again! Yes, it’s going to be hard to defeat us, but we’re going to host multiplayer sessions and livestreams in the weeks following launch to help spread our plague and make it easier for you to get a fighting chance to achieve this.
