6. Free Mastery EXP conversion
Information about Free Mastery EXP distribution after the initialization:
Mastery EXP conversion policies were based entirely on pre-patch character information on July 16th
Free Mastery EXP conversion criteria was based entirely on the combined value of Combat and Living Masteries points of existing characters
If you mastered six Masteries (50 x 6) and learned another mastery at lv. 20, you will be given a certain EXP that you can freely distribute in the new system, where the max. Mastery point is 250
Even if you spend 320 points but distributed evenly without a mastered Mastery, you will not receive enough Free Mastery EXP to master 5 Masteries (i.e. 5 x 50 = 250)

Greetings Adventurers, The greatest update you were all waiting for is coming this Monday: Home Sweet Home! You can now have a place to call home. Build a tent inside your guild's territory and work to see it become a comfy house where you can safely store personal items and decorate as you wish!

1. Housing System We introduce a new feature to allow Adventurers to build their own homes! In order to have your own home, you will need:
1) Deed item
With a deed, you can build your own home
You can have more than one deed, but it isn't possible to build more than one home at the same time
a. How to use a Deed item:
You can build a house by accessing the Deed item in the center menu
Houses can be built anywhere in the world
The Deed item disappears when the house is entirely built
Missing Deed item can be returned when the house is torn down
No more than one private house can be built at the same time
b. How to get a Deed item:
You can buy a Deed item from Mr. BoBoo
2) Private house installation area
Private houses have an external and an internal installation areas
a. External installation area:
You can place and decorate production and decoration buildings
The layout and installation of production buildings are the same as in the previous facility
b. Internal installation area
Decorative items and functional decorative items can be installed in the internal area
i) General decoration
Items for decoration without any particular function
ii) Functional decorations
Production and storage items are both internal and decorative
Internal installation is a free-placement method
Decoration items can be placed on floors, walls, and ceilings
c. Butler Nooroo
All houses have a butler NPC called Nooroo
Butler Nooroo is a traveling companion in charge of managing your house
A variety of housing menus are available through the NPC Butler Nooroo
Roles of Butler Nooroo:
i) Protection fee payment
Butler Nooroo protects private houses
In order to maintain your house, you must regularly pay for protection
The cost of protection varies according to the area of the private house and the space used for storing items
ii) Housing movement
You can move or tear down a house
iii) House customization
You can change the roof and walls of your house
"Paint" items are required when painting a house
Paint items can be purchased from Mr. Boboo
iv) Decoration inventory
Decoration items for decorating the house can be viewed in the inventory section
Decoration inventory items can be taken out, but cannot be put in
v) Building repairs
You can repair any building installed within the personal area
Butler Nooroo is a guardian, protecting your House from hostile forces:
i) Your Butler Nooroo will fight when an enemy enters his attack range
ii) The attack power of Butler Nooroo is fixed as long as you pay for the protection; it weakens if you forget to pay
iii) When the Nooroo’s HP becomes 0 by enemy attacks, he passes out
iv) You can wake up your Butler Nooroo
d. Replace with another house
To replace your house with another one, you must remove your current one
When you want to remove the house, the interior decoration items should be transferred to the Temp Storage box
Items contained in functional decoration will be dropped to the ground without moving to the storage section
2. Revised Guild System
1) Guild moving function has been deleted
In order to move the guild, you must remove the Warden Tree and move it to the desired area
When removing a Warden Tree, all buildings owned by that guild will become neutral or destroyed
2) Promulgate guild area
The capacity of the guild structures increased: you can build much more Stakes/Walls now
If you have a house in the area that isn't owned by a guild member, you cannot declare the territory
3) Private houses can be built within the territories of the guild
Guild members can build their private houses in their guild's area (note: you still can build a house even if you are not in a guild)
If you leave the guild while possessing a private home in the guild area, your home will be moved (i.e. Porter Nooro will follow you)
4) Revised production structures
You can craft guild structures such as walls and defensive structures in the guild production buildings
Personal items can be found and craftable in the personal workshops/worktables
5) Joining or creating a guild
You can create a guild when your character level is 40 or above
You can join a guild when your character level is 30 or above
6) Guilds in the current live servers
All guilds in the current live servers (AM, AS and EU) will be packed and ready to move
After the update, guilds will be allowed to re-place by planting a Warden Tree
Once a guild is settled, the guild is NOT allowed to move again
The current members of the guilds stay the same, even if the character level does not meet the new requirement (in the new system, your character must be level 30 or above to join a guild)
If you leave from the current guild, or your guild is dismissed after the update, you may not re-join any guild until you reach level 30
NOTE: After the data initialization, your livestock, general items, buildings (except walls) will NOT be recoverable. However, the level of your Warden Tree stays the same after the update
3. Grading System
All objects, buildings, and items will be graded
The rating of all collected items depends on the region's difficulty. Good items can be obtained depending on the grade
High-grade materials make a better-performing items
High-grade items may have worn restrictions depending on character level or mastery level
All old general items will be lost after the update. But NO premium items, skins, and event rewards will be lost
4. Category of material items
Materials are automatically organized by categories
When you craft an item, you can add materials according to its category (ie. apples and coconuts are different items but they are in the same category of Fruit)
5. Reform of the production system
1) Changes
There will be a significant reduction in production lists. Just one button makes various items
Material items are required based on their category (ie. if you need a wooden item, you can use either firewood, wood, or board)
The performance and type of produced items will vary depending on the item's rating
A higher mastery level will give you an item of unpredictably better performance
You can find secret recipes by adding some of the specific ingredients
2) Removed features
There is no more restriction to craft an item (ie. mastery level). Masteries now decide how good the product will be
6. Blueprint System
Blueprints can be obtained through collection or hunting
Blueprints can be used in the center menu
When you open a Blueprint, you will see the recipe for making a special item (decoration, mounts)
Try to gather Blueprints out of the materials you get while traveling the map!
7. Resumption of collection tools
Collection tools will be resumed for specific purposes (ie. logging axe for trees, pickaxe for rocks)
Collection tools are most effective when you want to collect something
8. Farming System
The harvest balance has changed
Famine: None
Poor crop: 1 crop
Flat crop : 3 crops
Good crop: 5 crops
You may get a higher grade seed than the planted one
9. Ranching System
To be friends with the animals (tame an animal), you will need a Cowbell
Feed, pheromones, and saddles are incorporated into one kind. You don’t have to craft specific items for specific species. We can feed all kinds of livestock
10. Fishing System
The bait is divided for small, medium or large fish species
Different bait may be obtained depending on the level of the material used to craft the bait
Use a bait that fits the species you want to catch
11. Drop System
1) All monsters in the world, collection drop items, and balance
Items with no use have been removed from the game and the purpose of all current items has been clearly revised
2) Reorganized drop rule on hit
The rule that used to drop items by every single hit was revised:
The existing rule sets a drop chance at a certain rate per hit.
The new rule sets to drop an item if the hit is hard enough
12. World geography
1) Adventure Company
"Paradise Island" (1-10 levels), "Wetfog Island" (11-20 levels): New terrain
"Gangnam Island": Deleted
2) Knights of Roses
"The Island of Sorrow" (11-20 levels): A terrain has been added to the north
"Bluefog Plains" (21-30 levels): Divided into north and south
"Greedy Man’s Land" (21-30 levels): Divided into north and south

After the update, all characters will be located in the castaway areas of their Factions (where every new character begins their journeys)

"Carpenter shop" will be changed to "Carpenter's Table"
"Forge" will be changed to "Small Anvil"

Items cooked in the kitchen have been modified to restore Satiety and give buff effects

1) The level of Satiety changes according to character's level
Max. Satiety increases proportionally to character level and mastery point. The max. value is 6000
2) Changes in the consumption of Satiety
All behaviors of the character consume Satiety points
Movement and combat activities use relatively less Satiety
Manufacturing, construction, fishing, and farming uses relatively-largely Satiety

Battle level growth does not use mastery points

The Anatomy mastery has been deleted
NOTE: The current mastery points your character has will NOT be lost; these points will be converted into the character level (6.4 points for 1 level). Example: If the sum of your mastery points is 200 now, your character level will be 31 after the update. 4) Living Mastery name changed
Living Mastery name changed to just "Mastery" because there is only one type of mastery now
New “Mastery” includes Logging, Carpentry, Mining, Blacksmith, Ranching, Tailoring, Farming, Fishing, Cooking, Tinkering, and Healing
18. Warden Tree's Protection (aka "Novice Buff")
This special buff protects all novices
The protection is active only while in Novice areas
Even if you stay in Novice areas, the protection will expire when your character reaches level 15

The Gold/Silver/Bronze Trophies are interior decorations which can be installed in your house
Every member of a guild receives one or all of the Trophies, when:
a. Your Warden Tree is Lv. 10 or above (all 3 Trophies: Gold, Silver, and Bronze)
b. Your Warden Tree is Lv. 5 or above (2 Trophies: Silver and Bronze)
c. Your Warden Tree is below Lv. 5 including one who does not have a Tree (1 Trophy: Bronze)
NOTE: The Trophies are considered usual items, meaning that you must keep them carefully once they can be stolen by enemies or dropped on the ground upon death
4) For Experimental Server participants
For Adventurers who participated in the tests in the Experiment Server openings, we are going to send a set of exclusive items
"Nooroo’s Furniture" is a set of interior decorations you can place in your house. It includes

We received a considerable amount of bug and error reports from the features that would come with the Housing Update. In order to not jeopardize the current experience of our players and deliver a smoother and more balanced updated, developers decided to postpone the launch of the Housing Update from 5th July to 16th July 2018.
All features announced in the 2nd opening of the Experimental Server are confirmed in the Housing Update, except for adjustments to fix balancing issues.

A lot of valuable feedback was given and we are already working on some of them to bring you a better experience for the next opening. But before we get into details, let's talk about the 2nd opening schedule. After analyzing data from the 1st opening, we decided to postpone this next opening for one week, as below:

Now, back to business... these are the major changes coming in the new patch:
Housing Update new features:
Housing system: A place to call home! Now every Adventurer will be able to construct a house of their own to decorate and store precious items: no shared propriety, it is your very own home!
Grade system: Instead of Quality, items will have different Grades - from 1 (common item) to 6 (superb item). The higher the level of the map, the higher the grade of the materials dropped there - high-level items come from high-grade materials. Better keep moving forward once superb material will only drop in high-level areas.
Renewed Crafting system: Now you will need a smaller quantity of material to craft something. Pay attention to materials' grades to craft better items instead of wasting your time grinding.
Renewed Masteries system and Character Level: Instead of Combat Masteries, your character will now have a level - and it will allow you to equip stronger weapons and gears. It will also measure how much stronger is your character compared to other characters and monsters.
They were present in the Experimental Server and will be available in the next opening too, with some fine-tuning already and the Guild System working.
And the big notice: However much we tried and thought about ways to avoid it, a conversion of Mastery Points and a data initialization for Guilds and Buildings are inevitable and will be necessary to implement these new features..
Long story short, in the current system, you need to be part of a larger group in order to fully enjoy the game. However, we understand that being able to play and have fun alone is also important and should be part of the game as well. Housing Update is here to allow Adventurers to enjoy a single players experience at the same time that it provides basic units for larger communities - or guilds, as you prefer to call. And as the core idea was renewed, so was fundamental game mechanics which turned out to be incompatible to be implemented in the current system without a data initialization.
However, in order to not undermine our dedicated players' efforts, we will keep the Mastery points proportionally. Guilds, buildings, and resources will be initialized (in other words, reset) but we will give Free Mastery EXP according to your actual progress so you don't need to level it up again.
For example, if you have 160 Mastery points out of 320 now, then you will have level 25 out of 50 (new Character Level system) plus 125 out of 250 free Mastery points to distribute as you wish after the data initialization. Also, be aware that once your guild is reset, you may lose contact with your guild friends, so add them to your in-game friend list before July 5th.
Finally, all players that registered in the 1st opening are already registered in the 2nd opening of the Experimental Server. If you didn't register yet, answer this post with your nick in-game and server until June 19th to grant your access.
