It seems that Ubisoft have had a bit of a “leaky ship” (it always happens) and today they confirmed the speculation that Watch Dogs Legion will be coming to E3 2019. But what if Watch Dogs is not your thing? Well there will be lots of other games, though the big companies will shout the loudest. That doesn’t seem fair as even smaller games deserve some time in the spotlight, because with enough eyes, they could rise to prominence. Then there’s those that have been rumoured, but may not appear. With nearly 50 games already confirmed to be at the show, we thought we’d put together an alphabetical list of games that have been confirmed to appear at this year’s E3 show.

E3 2019 will have games, lots of games. Some may just be the next best big thing, but many get swept under the rug. Hello person. This is the Steam Charts, the weekly round-up of the top-grossing PC games on the online store Steam. We write it cynically to collect your clicks, and then we take those clicks and we use them to poke innocent orphans in their stupid orphan eyes.

After a couple months of test-server experimentation, Ubisoft are rolling out their new team-killer punishment to Rainbow Six Siege proper. While the studio confirm that today’s iteration of “Reverse Friendly Fire” (RFF) is still to be refined and has a couple bugs still to be hammered out, it’s ready enough for the big leagues. In short, if you shoot a teammate, they can choose whether or not to replace your bullets with karmic ones that bounce off friends and back into their owner’s careless (or malicious) face for the rest of the match. A poetic punishment if there ever was one.

Of course the Australian has his own spiders. New playable character Mozzie arrived into Rainbow Six Siege last month packing an Aussie accent and three Pest robots: little multi-limbed minibeasties capable of automatically leaping onto, and taking control of, the attacking team s reconnaissance drones. Plop them down in doorways and vent exits, and there s a good chance you ll be able to blunt the opposing team s vital intelligence gathering operations at the start of a round, as well as providing your side with a suite of new angles on the battle.

While normally a hellish day filled with corporations toying with hearts, April Fools has some perks, like this week’s Rainbow Is Magic event in Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft have given the Plane map in the gritty tactical squad-shooter a Lisa Frank makeover. Hot pink unicorn and butterfly-themed operators and a handful of hard plastic toy soldiers fight for control of the VIP (Very Important Plushie), as you do. This event runs for a whole week, up until April 8th, and there’s a collection of hot pink-with-sparkles gear to permanently earn. Below, a trailer for this gleeful nonsense.

Ubisoft are changing how team-killing affects players in Rainbow Six Siege, with a new “reverse friendly fire” system rolling out on the test servers soon, described in this dev-blog post. If you manage to murder one of your friends in the twitchy tactical shooter (easy to do accidentally), the player you whacked will get a kill-cam showing them exactly what happened. At this point, it would be prudent to apologise, as your victim will get to decide whether to let you off the hook, or whether you’ll spend the rest of the match with cursed bullets that bounce off buddies and back into your own face.
