We at Studio Wildcard would like to give a sincere thanks to the community for participating in our latest 24 hour ExtraLife charity event. With the help of our community and ExtraLife team, we raised over $90,906.20 and beat our highest amount raised in 2018 at $76,630.27! We couldn't have done this without the help of our generous community, our amazing sponsors, and our dedicated community who signed up to join our team. We gave away over $10K in prizes with items from Discord, AMD, Alienware, season pass keys, and more!

As with prior ExtraLife events, we take this as an opportunity to share sneak peeks at upcoming content. In true tradition, we shared video and visuals from the upcoming Genesis DLC. We're excited to take you on a new adventure in Genesis and look forward to sharing more unseen content. Poker After Ark

Poker After Ark offers the ability to play NoLimit Hold'em Poker with up to nine players at the same table. There are four different tables to play on. - PokerTable FullRing (9Max) - PokerTable Shorthanded (6Max) - PokerTable Ramshackle (4Max) - PokerTable HeadsUp (2Max) At least two players need to sit at a table to start the game.

The Hunt

Hunt In hunt mode, one person plays as a terrible monster, and other persons (hunters) try to defeat the monster and prevent it from evolving into an adult beast. Hunters have several types of weapons and traps, including flamethrowers and rifles. The monster has invisibility, a special vision that allows you to detect living beings. Do not think that you can escape from it on the height - a monster can climb anywhere. Survive. In this mode, the goal of the survivors is to run away from the monster by opening the gates that are powered by generators. Generators appear in random places on the map and their number depends on the number of survivors. Power the generators with energy cells to open the gate and escape.

PS4 Primitive+

We understand that the current issues with Primitive+ on PS4 is preventing an ideal experience. We apologize for the delay in a patch that resolved the current issue with wild dinos. We hope to have more information on this issue later in the week

Fear Evolved 3 Update

The content from the community from Fear Evolved has been nothing less than amazing! Due to some early launch issues, we'll be extending the event to November 8th 10AM PDT. We realize how important these events are for our community and have been monitoring your feedback throughout the way! There is still an update planned to iron out some existing issues with creature spawns.

The feedback we receive from this event will be invaluable as we roll into Turkey Trials and Winter Wonderland.

The upcoming Genesis expansion adds a lot of innovative and fun new features to ARK and is our most complex expansion pack to date, with a completely new mission system that dramatically changes the way you can play ARK. As a team we have decided that an extra month of polish and balancing is needed to deliver an awesome experience to everyone on launch day, so our anticipated simultaneous release for all platforms will be late January 2020. Meanwhile, we will continue to create fun new events and updates for ARK, including today as we launch Fear Evolved 3, and with the extra time we plan to add mouse-and-keyboard support on consoles this year as well as working on some surprises for the entire community at our biggest-ever Winter Wonderland event in December!

Fear Evolved 3 Event

We are excited to bring you the third annual Fear Evolved, bigger and better than before! The blood-moon, DodoWyvern, DodoRex, have made a return to ARK from October 22nd to November 5th! Find tombstones to and gather what you need to craft spooky skins or hunt down the elusive DoDoWyvern - the choice is up to you. For those who have experienced Fear Evolved before, we've added some new tricks and treats to ensure Fear Evolved maintains its legacy as a community favorite.

ExtraLife Charity Stream

We are only weeks away from the ExtraLife charity stream on November 2nd 9AM PST! As usual, this community event will be 24 hours filled with sneak peeks of future content, competitions, laughter, and embarrassment. Most of all, all of the proceeds go towards a great cause!

What the community tends to love are the boosted rates that come with this event. There will be official server rates bonuses as we reach our donation goals (0.5x increase for every $5,000 raised up to a max of 8x). In addition to boosted rates, we will have giveaways and prizes for the community! Even if you aren't available to donate money, we'd appreciate you coming by to hang out.

What is ExtraLife?
Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised over $50 million USD for sick and injured kids

From October 22nd to November 5th, the spookiest and most requested event will be active! We've been asking for your feedback on things you'd like to see in events and we have something exciting in store for everyone. For those who've seen the ghoulish graves and overgrown pumpkin patches; fear not, there will be a number of new items to collect! Hacks/Exploits

Abuse of game mechanics, such as meshing and duping, are being reported at a higher frequency. As always, we will continue to implement changes to address any methods we have been able to reproduce. Please continue to report any known methods via the ticket system.

Enforcement

With the increase of reports, the enforcement team has been tasked with a larger number of tickets. This backlog of requests prevented our enforcement team from acting quickly to incidents that were being reported. We've made a considerable dent in the backlog and hope to improve our response time to incidents that are reported.

Changes to the Code Of Conduct

The Enforcement Team are back again with another important notice regarding the Code of Conduct:

New Addition:

If you have been hardware ID (HWID) banned, any attempt to access the Official Network with an alternate account is subject to another hardware ID ban
