We recently ran into some issues with new registrations and linking through Steam not working. It seems as though Steam deprecated an API call that we previously used, but the issues is now resolved. If you previously couldn't link, or create an account you should be able to now.

Today we are releasing Town of Salem patch 3.3.6. This patch updates our Facebook integration to keep it current. This should not effect Steam. We also stomped a couple of bugs. Happy hanging!

Changes
• Facebook Integration: Upgraded to Facebook for Unity SDK 9.2.0 as Facebook will stop supporting the previous version we used.

Bug Fixes
• Game Chat: Fixed incorrect color on killed by Serial Killer announcement.
• Coven Custom Game Mode: Vigilante was restored to the Town roles available.

Today we are giving a sneak peak at the Custom Role Deck builder for Traitors in Salem!




Building a Role Deck is the first step in the Custom Game Mode for Traitors In Salem. Choose which Roles you want in your Role Deck from the list of available Roles. You can then save a Role Deck, and share it with your friends.
Saving a Role Deck will allow you to be able to quickly and easy load your favorite setup when you host a custom game.
The sharing feature will allow you to copy a code that can be given to other players to import your Role Deck into their custom lobbies!

Today we have 3 brand new roles to announce for Traitors in Salem and a reveal of one of our quest NPCs.


The Coroner is a Town role that will be able to tell how long a player's corpse has been sitting there, giving them a good idea of how far away the killer might be, and how long it could be until the next kill.


The Illusionist is a killing role with a special deceptive twist! They are able to create temporary clones of players that will run across the map spreading confusion and doubt.


The Prosecutor is a Town role with the ability to put a player directly into the defense phase of Trial, bypassing the need to get enough votes to put them on Trial.


Last reveal we posted a concept of the Tavern and mentioned quests, and quest NPCs. Today we get to announce one of those quest NPCs, and expand on quests: Jacqueline O'Lantern is the fantastic barmaid of the Gourds and Gallows Tavern and quest giver! Players can interact with this NPC to start different quests that can contribute to the towns victory, give you special personal perks, or unlock different town wide abilities!
