In August, we’re shining the leveling spotlight on one of TERA’s two healing classes—the priest—and changing our Twitch stream time.

As a primary healer, priests focus on restoring health and vitality to their allies. They derive power from their devotion to the gods, but it’s their devotion to others that earns them fame and friends on the battlefield. A priest has spells to fortify, purify, and resurrect party members in need, and more than enough firepower to go it alone.

Create and level a new priest—or continue levelling one you already have—and you’ll receive rewards at specific milestones, as well as some helpful tips and lore from fan-favorite NPC Leander! Or for bonus karma, create a tank or damage dealer to level up alongside a priestly friend, be it as a guildmate, part of a buddy-up duo, or even just finding a priest as you make your way throughout the world and lending a hand.

Remember, the gods are watching this month, and they always reward the faithful! So to make things even more fun, we’ve added some community events as well.

Monthly Leveling Event
A new month brings a new leveling event, this time showcasing the priest. Starting Wednesday, August 1 at 4 a.m. PDT and ending Saturday, September 1 at 4 a.m., fan-favorite researcher Leander is your leveling companion, sending you tips, helpful items, and hidden TERA lore as you journey from level 1–65.

Create a new priest or continue leveling one you already have to get rewards at specific level milestones. However, you'll only get these rewards once per server and only for the level milestones you hit during this month.

Battlegrounds Jackpots!

Battleground Jackpots are available every day of the week alternating from Fraywind Canyon or Corsairs’ Stronghold—Fraywind Canyon jackpots on odd-numbered days; Corsairs’ Stronghold jackpots on even-numbered days. Battleground Jackpots award either 1, 2, or 3 Battleground Coins for a win.


During the Battleground Bonus Item weekends, battleground wins include bonus items and increased Battleground Coins in the jackpot. We've heard a lot of player feedback on the subject of strongboxes—in-game drops that require a key to open—and we've not only revised the contents of two popular strongboxes, but added three new ones to the mix.

• Superior Noctenium Elixir is no longer a default item in Locked Strongboxes—because it now comes in its own strongbox, with a chance to get up to 30 Superior Noctenium Elixirs or 1,500 Noctenium Infusions!
