A lot of effort went into this book, and while it's true that it doesn't follow the events of the games 100%, it's still good to see that most people have accepted it as a part of the FNaF universe.
Thanks again, now I need to get back to working on that SL update!

Hey guys! I wanted to let you all know that I'll be working on an update for the game that will add a "Custom Night" to the Extras menu.
To answer a few questions about it:
1) Yes, it will be FREE. When the update is ready, your games will automatically update to include this feature.
2) It will NOT be canon. (otherwise it would screw up the entire plotline!)
3) It will be unlocked only when you have 3-stars, so you'd better get to work!
4) Since it's not part of the game's "Story Mode", you will be able to jump right into the action from the Extras menu and restart as many times as you like.
5) It would have been awesome to have this ready for Halloween, but there's no way that will be possible. Be looking for this in December!

Hey guys, I just made an update live that should hopefully take care of two issues that people were having.
1.02
1) Some people seem to get stuck under the desk on Night 2 due to the cut scene not activating after shutting the door the second time. I have hopefully fixed this, although it's difficult to tell since I have no computer available to me that experiences this problem. It honestly seems to be computer specific for some odd reason.
2) A lot of people are struggling with Night 4. While it is still tough as nails, I did take the edge off by making the Minireenas climbing the sides fall more easily, often with fewer shakes.
(And yes, if you beat Night 4 before this patch then you definitely get bragging rights.)
1.021
Fixed a glitch.
I won't mention specifics anymore since people are so worried about spoilers. ;)

Hey guys, I wanted to let everyone know what I’ve decided. And just as a warning- a lot of you aren’t going to be happy about it, but please try to understand.
Ever since I started making games I always wanted to be a world builder. I never wanted to make gimmicky games or things that didn’t mean something. I wanted to create experiences that would really have an impact on people. I feel like I got to do that with the first few games, but somehow I feel like I let myself get too dark with this one. Things went sideways, and I look at this game now and am unsure how it will affect people.
At the same time though, people WANT a horror game, and I get that. I understand that. This is supposed to be horror, and not kid friendly. So then what am I supposed to do? Release something that offends me just to satisfy those who want to play it? Or take the time and effort to really craft something that everyone can enjoy? The answer is obvious to me.
The problem is that the franchise has grown too much. There is too much of a spotlight on this for me to really do what I want to do. Even the news sites jumped all over this and mocked me for delaying the game. It just makes things difficult, because I don’t feel like I can really do the right thing anymore.
But I think I have the solution. (this is the part most of you won’t like) I’m going to release the “mature” version of the game by itself, in sections, not as a part of the timeline, not as a part of the lore, and not as a part of the story, but just because I promised that I would. I promised a game, and don’t want to be one of those developers who endlessly delays their game’s release. However, I would recommend that real fans of the games, and real followers of the lore, wait a few months until I’m able to really make something that everyone can enjoy, and something that can still be scary! I’m going to release the game in chapters, however, not the whole game at once, since it puts strain on the servers over at GameJolt.

I've been trying to keep this quiet for a while now, but if any of you will be in the Vegas area this Halloween, be sure to check out the Five Nights at Freddy's haunted house at FRIGHT DOME this year!
I stopped by to check on construction last month and it was looking great. It's a huge area and they have a lot of insane things planned. Fans of the game will NOT be disappointed!
