We bring you good news! If you have followed the Deathtrap Co-Op Level Editor Contest, you might know that one of the rewards was to integrate the winning level into the game. It is now done.



"Armory" by Flikk is now officially part of the game, delivered to you by today's update.

If you haven't played this level, now would be the time, but it should be noted that it's recommended for higher level characters.

You will also have a chance to see how the winning level plays even if you don't own Deathtrap yet: there will be a streaming of a Co-Op session between Flikk and NeocoreGames on March 31, 8:00 PM CET (11:00 AM PDT) on Twitch!

Updates to Deathtrap have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client (in on-line mode) is restarted.

Fixed Bugs

For those who already published some User Generated Maps: It's advised to publish your UGC maps again, some bug fixes will be applied only in this case.

The Map Editing Contest Winner is Flikk, and his Co-Op map, the Armory got implemented in the game after receiving some graphical polishing from us.

General
  • An instant Lvl 100 exploit has been fixed.
  • From now on all players will receive XP in Co-Op, because the map level will be set to the players' average level.
  • Fast forward achievement can now be unlocked even if you speed up the game by keyboard.
  • New characters will no longer receive lvl 30 gear at start.
  • After reaching level 100, it could occur that XP was counted backwards, this has been fixed.
  • Some teleport pads have been fixed .
  • Godlike Items' tooltips have been fixed.
  • Stash related issues have been fixed.
  • Protector Spirits will now die if the summoner is killed in the distance.
  • Trap costs can't be lower than 10% of the original amount.
  • There was a misplaced mystical trap slot in Scenario XI, it has been fixed.
  • AN unusable trap has been removed from Tier 3 Abandoned Laboratories.
Skills & Traps:
  • Dirigblusa is now easier to hit and also receives constant damage from Desintegrating Ray.
  • Service Station essence cost is now displayed correctly in the tooltip.
  • Spectral serpent increased enemy's resistance instead of vulnerability, this is now fixed.
  • Chain Snare will now damage Giant and Boss enemies, but won't pull them towards the caster.
  • Archer Post work method (aggro range and spell cast range) have been modified.
Co-Op:
  • Maps' configurations for co-op maps have been checked and the correct one is now applied.
  • Tick Mine's mine will be displayed on client side aswell.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II - Megapull_Neocore
Updates to Van Helsing II have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client (in on-line mode) is restarted.

General
  • Fixed a crash during the Viaduct Junction siege
  • Fixed a rare bug which caused the generator capacity remain full, even if no traps are installed
  • Fixed the perks not applying correctly after a map change.
  • Harker can no longer be selected at the bossfight, and the minions won't try to attack him.
  • Fixed the gargoyle's jumping attack
  • The game no longer forgets the powerup combo after map change.
  • Summoned chimeras now correctly die after the skill's duration is over. Sadly.
  • The Plague scenario condition is no longer applied, if you are under 25% hitpoints.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented the duration extending skills to work correctly on mechanical's minions.
  • Fixed the perks not applying correctly after a map change.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the character move, instead of attacking, when clicking on an enemy, who had an impassable terrain behind it
  • Fixed the Doomsday Automaton's model, it no longer has a graphic glitch.
  • Faded objects are no longer becoming gray.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented the chest to be opened using a melee attack.
  • Engineer's mines should now properly work.
Multiplayer:
  • Katarina now respawns correctly.
  • Fixed a bug which made the monsters unattackable.
  • TD no longer crashes when a client tries to deploy a trap.
  • Fixed a crash when the client tried to save during a bossfight, or a special script, when it should not save.

  • The side quest can be accomplished on Map 6 (Nameless Tomb) if you play in co-op mode
  • From now on, you can respec trap and skill points with controller
  • Bonuses provided by runes are now applied to Suicide Swarm trap
  • From now on, your last try won't overwrite your existing map score if it's lower than the previous one
  • On the wave victory screen you will have to confirm if you would like to restart the map to avoid unwanted situations
  • The Tier settings for the maps have been checked and the correct ones are now applied
  • From now on, epic items' requirement level will adjust to the item level.
  • Items won't disappear if moving them by drag&drop if the stash is open.
  • Left clicking on an enemy with a non damage dealing spell won't prevent you from achieving the sidequest "Complete the map without doing damage on your own"

Skills&Traps:
  • Icebolt now provides health per hit if an item with hp/hit is equipped.
  • Scattershot's AOE passive does not damage allied units anymore
  • Tick Mine Dispenser is now fixed in Co-Op
  • Service Tower could drop the client due to the high bandwith usage, this has been fixed
  • Fixed a glitch with trap research points
  • Spring Mechanism Expertise now lowers the Razor Laucher's cooldown
  • Winter Queen Sigil's battle upgrade "Reduced Delay" now increases the damage as it should
  • Suicide Swarm now receives the bonuses from its runes
  • Chickens summoned by Metamorphosis trap are now displayed on the map

Co-Op:
  • Grappler Bolt now works on client side
  • In some case you were able to build traps in co-op mode even if you didn't have enough essences
  • In co-op, the clients now also receive the reward from Jungle Chests
  • Achievements are now unlocked at the client side too
  • From now on, the sidequest can be done on Map VI "Nameless Tomb"
