After an extended break, the ESO Tavern is back! Join us in Cologne, Germany, for the return of this classic community event and celebration!

The ESO Tavern returns once more for fans across the globe to meet up, be social, and share their mutual passion for the world of Tamriel. The ESO Tavern has been an EU community staple since 2013, and over time, it’s become the place for players to meet with fellow guildmates and members of the dev team alike.

During this year’s event, we’re gathering at Herbrand’s Ehrenfeld in Cologne, Germany, on Saturday, August 27, to enjoy some good food and drink, participate in various activities, host VIP Meet & Greets featuring Saltatio, and present developer roundtables with ESO’s Game Director Matt Firor, Creative Director Rich Lambert, Art Director CJ Grebb, Lead Encounter Designer Mike Finnigan and Community Manager Kai Schober. The event starts at 3pm German time and ends around 1am.

The entrance fee for this year’s event will be 15 euros per attendee. This price includes free drinks throughout the event and an exclusive piece of swag for you to take home. After registering for a ticket, you will be placed onto a waiting list. Kicking off today, June 30 at 10:00AM EDT, and continuing until July 12, 10:00AM EDT, when you gift your fellow players five or more Event Tickets from the in-game Crown Store, you’ll receive four complimentary Dark Chivalry Crown Crates!

If you want to get your hands on these crates, follow these simple steps:

• From the Crown Store, gift five or more Event Tickets to anybody in-game during the Zeal of Zenithar in-game event
• You can find Event Tickets within the Events section
• You can split the gifts between multiple recipients, meaning all five tickets don’t necessarily have to go to the same player

• Once the Zeal of Zenithar event has concluded, we’ll grant you four Dark Chivalry Crown Crates
• The Crown Crate delivery will occur by the end of August 2022.
• Within these crates, you will find an assortment of once-virtuous items for you to enjoy.

Zenithar, the Divine of labor and commerce, is here to reward Tamriel’s many crafters, traders, and workers, with a new in-game event.
The Zeal of Zenithar in-game event kicks off on June 30 at 10AM EDT, and it continues until July 12 at 10AM EDT. To access the event, pick up the introductory quest "The Unrefusable Offer" from Amminus Varo at the Belkarth festival grounds in the Craglorn region (or get the free quest starter from the Crown Store). If you need help locating Belkarth, travel to the nearest Impresario tent, and use the portal nearby to transport yourself to the city.

Upon finishing the intro quest, you may then pick up the daily quest, "Honest Toil."


Craft, trade, and work to earn bonus rewards
During the event, each time you complete the daily quest, you’ll receive one of Zenithar’s Sublime Parcel boxes. In addition, you can net Zenithar’s Delightful Parcel boxes by participating in the following activities:

• Completing the introductory quest
• Completing any Master Writ
• First daily Crafting Writ, per account, completed each day
• Defeat a world boss while grouped with a player who is in at least one of your player guilds
• Complete a world event while grouped with a player who is in at least one of your player guilds
• Conquering each round of a group-based arena challenge while grouped with a player who is in at least one of your player guilds has the chance of dropping a box
• The final round's reward chest contains a guaranteed parcel

Alternatively, if you're not interested in hard work, Akatosh forbid, there’s a small chance to steal parcels from hard-working Tamrielic citizens through pickpocketing, strongboxes, or thieves' troves.

Within a parcel box, there is a chance to acquire the following rewards for your efforts:

• A tradeable outfit style page for the new High Rock Spellsword armor
• Crafting materials, provisioning ingredients, alchemy reagents, runestones, or a motif style item
• Crafting boosters
• Small chance of a gold-tier booster or a research time scroll
• Furnishing or provisioning recipes
• Repair kits, siege repair kits, or a small chance for an Impresario group repair kit
• Treasure Maps, survey reports, Imperial City Vault Keys, companion gear, or a Random Currency Pouch
• The Random Currency Pouch can contain either gold or Tel Var stones; there is an extremely small chance that this is a jackpot amount that gives you 100,000 of the associated currency! 
• The earnings from this pouch, jackpot or otherwise, are unaffected by any form of currency boosts

Both boxes offer an opportunity to pick up these rewards, but the Sublime Parcel boxes provide the best chance to obtain the most valuable rewards.
These event rewards aren’t the only thing you’re eligible to receive during the Zeal of Zenithar event! Throughout the span of the event, everybody will benefit from modifiers to the following in-game global effects:

• Wayshrine travel costs are reduced by 75%
• Repair costs on vendors are reduced by 50%
• Crafting inspiration gain from all sources is increased by 100%
• Vendor prices across Tamriel are reduced by 10%
• These include:
• Vendors that sell items for gold, AP, or Tel Var stones, including the Golden Vendor
• Houses purchasable for gold
• New rare social and combat wilderness encounters are peppered throughout Tamriel for you to find, related to Zeal of Zenithar

In addition to the parcel boxes, you’ll also receive three Event Tickets each time you complete the Honest Toil daily quest. In total, you can collect 39 tickets by the end of the event. Just remember: You can hold up to 12 Event Tickets at any one time, so if you earn more while already at the ticket cap, you’ll lose them!

Once you’ve earned a hefty number of Event Tickets, head on over to the Impresario event merchant and exchange them for these rewards:

• All three Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet fragments
• Hallowed Hourglass Basin
• Illuminated Dragon Scroll
• Kvatchian Incense

In addition, the Impresario is selling a brand-new item to help improve your companion’s skill lines: Companion Guild Commendations. Each of the three major guilds in ESO, including the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Undaunted, have a commendation associated with their organization. Upon using a commendation on an active companion, they immediately reach the next skill rank for that specific guild.

The Companion Guild Commendations will be available to purchase whenever the Impresario makes an appearance during any future events.

Finally, the Impresario will be joined in the Belkarth festival grounds by a new colleague during the Zeal of Zenithar and all upcoming events: Nenulaure! This special merchant will offer a selection of indriks from previous years and events, with a cycling inventory as seasons change.
