We are excited to announce the next Chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online saga, The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, coming to PC/Mac, Xbox One and PlayStation®4 on June 4. Learn about this brand-new adventure and the year-long Season of the Dragon storyline here.
The Season of the Dragon
Keep both eyes on the skies! During the Season of the Dragon, you can experience a year-long interconnected adventure that begins very soon with the Wrathstone DLC game pack and continues through the upcoming Elsweyr Chapter and beyond. Here’s the Season of the Dragon schedule:
Wrathstone DLC dungeon pack
Elsweyr Chapter
Unannounced Q3 DLC dungeon pack
Unannounced Q4 DLC story zone
The Season of the Dragon is here!
As always, each release will feature an incredible stand-alone story, but the Season of the Dragon brings it all together as part of an epic adventure that runs throughout the entire year – a first for The Elder Scrolls Online!
The Dragons have returned to Tamriel. Unleashed upon the world by the unwitting Abnur Tharn and the Imperial usurper queen Euraxia, the great Kaalgrontiid and his followers hunt from the skies and threaten to burn down the ancestral home of the Khajiit.
Elsweyr is packed with new stories, adventures, and challenges, including:
A whole new zone to explore: Elsweyr
An epic main story quest line that ties into the Season of the Dragon
A powerful new Class: Necromancer
A challenging new 12-player Trial: Sunspire
Massive new world events: Dragon Attacks
A huge amount of unique delves, public dungeons, and stand-alone quests
A host of updates and quality-of-life improvements
Explore the stunning (and dangerous) land of Elsweyr
Previously, you have been able to explore the province of Elsweyr in The Elder Scrolls: Arena and its outer edges in ESO’s regions of Reaper’s March and Khenarthi’s Roost, but in this new adventure, you can fully experience the home of Tamriel’s beloved cat people. In Elsweyr, you can traverse both fertile grasslands and scorching deserts, interact with moon-sugar farmers and wandering nomads, or confront merciless Imperial occupiers and roaming bandits. In this new Chapter, you can truly dive into the life, history, culture, and mythology of the Khajiit and their homeland.
Of course, in addition to exploring this new zone, you’ll also be called upon to defend the Khajiiti people against a devastating new threat: Dragons. However, in this Chapter you’re no Dragonborn, and you’ll need to work with your fellow players and powerful allies in order to take these winged beasts down.
Command the undead with the Necromancer Class
Finally, Elsweyr also introduces the highly anticipated Necromancer Class to ESO. With this dark, mysterious new Class, you will be able to command the dead and cast powerful elemental spells to overcome your foes and bolster your defenses. With the Necromancer, death itself is a weapon!

Has your guildie or friend had their eye on a fancy pet or mount? Perhaps you want to help a new player get off to a fast start with some XP Scrolls? During the month of December, we’re rewarding everybody who loves to gift their fellow players Crown Store items with a brand-new pet!
This holiday season, when you gift 1000 Crowns or more worth of items to two or more different Elder Scrolls Online players, we’ll send you an adorable Snowcap Fledgling Gryphon pet!
Here’s everything you need to know:
Gifting must occur between 2:00 AM EST on December 1, 2018 and 2:00AM EST on January 1, 2019
You must send a gift to at least two different individual accounts
The total value of all gifts must be at least 1000 Crowns or more on the same platform and region
Note: NOT 1000 Crowns per gift, but 1000 Crowns total. Two individual gifts that are valued at 500 Crowns each would count, as would three gifts each valued at 400 Crowns. However, if you sent a gift worth 500 Crowns on the PC NA server and another worth 500 Crowns on the Xbox One NA server, it would not count.
You will receive your Snowcap Fledgling Gryphon pet after the promotion’s end by January 4, 2019.
How to Gift
To send your friend a gift, navigate to the item you wish to buy in the Crown Store and select the “Purchase as Gift" option, then enter their UserID, Gamertag, or PSN ID, depending on your platform. We are thrilled to announce a series of brand-new updates to ESO Plus™, providing even more value to current members. Read on to find out what new rewards are coming to ESO Plus in November!
ESO Plus already provides a host of incredible benefits to its members, including access to every current and future in-game DLC game pack, free crowns, the Craft Bag, and much more. However, starting November 13, you’ll be able to enjoy even more rewards for your membership, including exclusive Crown Store items and deals, free in-game collectibles, and an increase to the monthly Crown stipend.
Membership’s New Benefits
Starting on November 13, ESO Plus will include the following additional rewards for all platforms:
Even More Crowns As an ESO Plus member, you will receive an additional 150 Crowns as part of your monthly stipend, bringing your total to 1650 per month. Note that if you are partly though a 3- or 6-month membership, you will be credited your bonus crowns by the end of November.
Exclusive Free Items With this update, ESO Plus members will be able to acquire free collectibles from the in-game Crown Store. The free items will only be available to ESO Plus members and will be indicated in gold text labeled “Free” next to the Chalice icon. Free items will be added to the Crown Store only on rare occasions and for a very limited time.
The first free ESO Plus member-exclusive item includes a unique collectible: the Priestess of Mara costume. Note that the new costume will not be available immediately, but will arrive in the Crown Store later in the year.

Exclusive Crown Store Deals With ESO Plus membership-exclusive deals, you’ll be able to acquire select Crown Store items at a special, discounted price. The discounted items will be in the Crown Store with gold text and a Chalice icon. The items available at a membership-exclusive discount can change often (and some might only be available as part of a limited-time offer), so be sure to check the Crown Store on occasion to see what is available.
Exclusive Crown Store Items In additional to unique deals, ESO Plus members will also gain access to exclusive Crown Store items. These exclusive items may be available for sale for Crowns or even free (as mentioned above). These items can include collectibles such as costumes, pets, mounts, and more, and will be identified by the gold text and Chalice icon. Like the exclusive deals, these items can change often, so be sure to keep an eye out.
To help you keep track of what deals are currently available when new benefits arrive, you’ll be able to visit a new ESO Plus tab within the Crown Store UI. From there, you will be able to check your current benefits and review what Crown Store items are available on sale or exclusively to members. Note that it will not be possible to Gift an item acquired for free, purchased at a discount, or purchased exclusively due to your ESO Plus membership. However, you can still purchase items as Gifts at full price.
