The Orsinium two-year anniversary event begins on November 16 at 10AM EST and will run until November 27 at 10AM EST. During this time, both the base DLC game pack and limited Collector's Bundle will be on sale in the in-game Crown Store at discounted prices.

The Orsinium DLC game pack will be available for 750 crowns (75% off its regular 3000 crown price tag) and features access to the Wrothgar zone, an epic storyline, two public dungeons, and the Maelstrom arena. The Orsinium Collector's Bundle will be available for 2000 crowns (60% off its regular 5000 crowns price tag) and includes the base DLC game pack, the mighty Cave Bear mount, a Cave Bear Cub pet, and five experience scrolls.




Throughout the event period, those who venture into Wrothgar will also enjoy bonus rewards for completing activities in the zone. These bonuses will include:

• Double the items received from crafting nodes (not including nodes spawned from Survey Reports)
• Double the rewards received from chests in the Maelstrom Arena in both Veteran and Normal modes, including Transmute Crystals and Maelstrom Weapons

Journey into Sotha Sil's Clockwork City, a great and intricate mechanism that duplicates Tamriel in metallic miniature. Take on two dangerous world bosses, explore new delves, and complete daily quests to earn a host of unique rewards.

A Clockwork Mystery

Something is amiss at the heart of the Clockwork City. Enter this mechanical wonderland and uncover a Daedric plot that threatens not only the Clockwork God's creation, but all of Tamriel. This new story quest line is similar in size to those found in the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild DLC game packs, providing an exciting adventure for both new and old players alike.



The Asylum Sanctorium

Ready for a challenge like no other? The Asylum Sanctorium is an all-new 12-player Trial with a unique twist: you decide how difficult you want the experience to be. As part of Update 16, we've introduced a new Battlegrounds game mode: Crazy King!

Seek out and capture banners that move around the map at random. Hold them to earn your team points, but be sure to always keep moving, as no capture point will ever stay in one place for long, and new ones are added as the game progresses!



Like its fellow Battlegrounds game modes, Crazy King is a chaotic, fast-paced PvP experience that'll challenge you to stay mobile. You can now play Crazy King as part of the Battlegrounds Grab Bag queue in the Group & Activity Finder. Participation in Crazy King matches contributes to the Land Grab leaderboard. Good luck!

Note: ESO: Morrowind is required to play Battlegrounds.


Update 16 arrives with a base-game patch for all players, free of charge, including a host of fixes, balance changes, additions, and improvements.

Most notably, Update 16 includes the addition of the new Transmutation System, allowing you to change the Traits on your item. You can find everything you need to know about Transmutation in our FAQ article.



The Update 16 base-game patch also brings some improvements to performance. This includes an overhaul to how the game handles animations (reducing memory requirements) and optimizations to the way objects are rendered. This will help to improve frame rates, reduce load times, and stop some crashes.

In addition to this, there's a host of additional changes:

• Trait Tracker – You can now see whether you've researched a Trait on an item!
• Various fixes and updates to combat, gameplay, Alliance War, crafting, dungeons, balance, questing, and more
• Crafting Writ Turn-In Improvements – Deliver writs at any turn-in site in Tamriel
• New Home – The Orbservatory Prior in Clockwork City
• Champion Point Increase – Raised by 30 to a total of 690

As the nights grow longer and the year slides into darkness, the denizens of Tamriel defy their superstitious fears during the annual Witches Festival. Join the fun as ghosts, demons, and evil spirits are mocked and celebrated by occult occurances and the donning of outrageous costumes, which are all the more convincing in a world where hauntings are real and the dead rise to walk again.

The Witches Festival begins at 10:00AM EDT on Friday, October 20 and will run until Wednesday, November 1 at 10:00AM EDT. During this time, you can enjoy a 100% XP buff, obtain a polymorph to become one of the walking dead, and earn a host of unique Witches Festival-themed items.

• Navigate to the Crown Store's Holiday section to acquire the “Crow Caller" free of charge.
• Complete the quest “The Witchmother's Bargain" by gathering a pumpkin and some guts, defeating any delve boss for its Essence of Death, and delivering them to the Witchmother to receive the “Witchmother's Whistle" memento.
  • If you completed the quest during last year's event, you won't need to acquire the Crow Caller or complete the quest again – you can simply use the whistle found in your Collections menu from last year.
• Use the whistle to summon the “Witchmother's Cauldron" and grant you and your party a two-hour 100% XP buff that stacks with all other XP.
• Use the Witchmother's Cauldron to polymorph your character into one of the undead. Don't worry—this isn't permanent!
  • Note that you do not have to use the Witchmother's Cauldron in order to gain the XP buff.

In addition to the XP buff, throughout the festival you can earn some Witches Festival-themed loot by helping to keep Tamriel's numerous monsters at bay.

During the event, all boss monsters (such as World Bosses or those found defending Delves, Group Dungeons, Public Dungeons, Trials, Arenas, and Dark Anchors) will drop Plunder Skulls. You do not need the XP buff or the undead polymorph active in order for them to drop.



Plunder Skulls are special containers that have a chance to contain the following rare items:

• Hollowjack Motif Pages or Books
• A Runebox containing one of these masks:
  • Pumpkin Spectre Mask
  • Scarecrow Spectre Mask
  • Hollowjack Spectre Mask
  • Thicketman Spectre Mask
• Witches Festival-themed recipes
• Furniture and furniture recipes
• Motif style items
• …and an assortment of creepy items such as worms, crawlers, guts, and other goodies!

A host of supernatural selections will also be added to the in-game Crown Store during the event period, including the Zombie Horse mount, the Nightmare Daemon Mask Pack, and much more. Don't miss your chance to grab some of these unique and terrifying items!

Need someplace to practice your unholy sorceries away from prying eyes? The Exorcised Coven Cottage will be available for purchase with crowns in the in-game Crown Store for the duration of the event, and if you earn the Witches Festival achievement “An Unsparing Harvest" you'll unlock the ability to acquire this bewitching home for in-game gold!

To unlock An Unsparing Harvest, you must earn the following event achievements:

• Happy Work for Hollowjack
• Plunder Skull Enthusiast
• Pumpkin Pairs Well With Guts
• Reaper's Harvest

If you had earned these achievements in a previous event, you will not need to earn them again this year. To see which achievements you've already unlocked or to track your current progress, check the Holiday section of your Achievements menu.

Be warned: You will not be able to purchase this home for crowns or gold once the event ends, so don't miss your chance to own this “haunt away from home"!
