Additions:
  • Added more item spawn points.
  • Added more zombie spawn points.
  • Added some low tier guns and household items to civilian spawns.
  • Added some low tier guns to campground spawns.
  • Added crafting recipes for grenades and vaccines.
Improvements:
  • Improved gun damage balance against players.
  • Improved melee weapon damage balance. Guns are always better than melee now, but the military and butterfly knife will kill normal zombies with one right click backstab headshot.
  • Improved alberton surveilance house, moved cameras to mansion island.
  • Improved crafting bedrolls to only white cloth until dyeing is added.
  • Improved consumeable food/water balance.
  • Improved red dot and halo sight aim positions.
  • Improved cost balance of skills.
Tweaks:
  • Tweaked effect of overkill a bit higher.
  • Tweaked snayperskya fire rate a bit higher.
  • Tweaked size of pebbles a bit smaller.
Fixes:
  • Fixed high spawn rate of clothing items in job areas.
  • Fixed eating berries on the server.
  • Fixed some one-sided areas at the cave.
  • Fixed super low spawn rate of mechanic items.

Hello!

This update makes Stratford and Kensington more interesting, unique locations. Originally according to poll results they would be turned into medium sized urban areas, however this proved even worse so in the end they are a large town and a campsite.

Additions:
  • Added new layout for Kensington and Stratford.
  • Added more details such as broken glass, boulders gardens, etc.
  • Added berries achievement.
  • Added accident prone achievement.
  • Added behind the wheel achievement.
  • Added number of deaths stat.
Improvements:
  • Improved layouts of a few other locations and moved some objects around the map such as the helicopter crash.
Tweaks:
  • Tweaked availability of guns, magazines and ammunition.
  • Tweaked global stats to not show up, it seems to be returning the wrong number right now.
Fixes:
  • Fixed military barrier draw distance.
  • Fixed navigation for wooden chute.

Until 3.0 joins the main branch you will need to join this beta group to gain access to the workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/304930_Workshop

If you are hosting a server using community maps/content please consider swapping to the workshop system to make it easy for users to join your server and get that content.

Additions:
  • Added automatic workshop downloads from servers. Any workshop files in Content and the current map in Maps will be downloaded. Until Valve implements server workshop downloads hosters will have to manually copy any files they want into these folders. Read the instructions at the bottom to see how to set these up. When joining a server you will see a "Syncing..." loading screen as it checks for workshop content, and a progress bar if it subscribes to any files.
  • Added any map filter.
  • Added new iron sights aiming positions to make them take up less screen space.
  • Added some rock models underneath the bridges.
Improvements:
  • Improved gun damage balance against zombies.
Tweaks:
  • Tweaked item spawn chance and spawn rate.
  • Tweaked availability of firearms.
  • Tweaked position of tab buttons.
  • Tweaked menu alert box position.
Fixes:

To put workshop content onto your dedicated server for users to download:
  1. Subscribe to the workshop content normally.
  2. Navigate to your Unturned workshop folder in SteamApps/workshop/content/304930.
  3. Copy items/objects/vehicles from there to Bundles/Workshop/Content.
  4. Copy maps from there to Bundles/Workshop/Maps.
  5. Make sure you copied the #### folders, not just their contents, for example 304930/12345 should move to Content/12345.
  6. Make sure that the server loads any custom map from the Bundles/Workshop/Maps folder rather than the default Maps folder.

  • Added arrows to show which direction a barricade or structure is facing.
  • Added new menu scene and interface.
  • Added some items that were missing from spawns.
  • Added icons on the interactable bar.
  • Added more scaling functionality so that every feature should remain useable in lower resolutions.
  • Added constraint system to the UI to make it easier to support lower resolutions.
  • Added ability to use any skill tree in-game at any time. Restricting players seemed to unbalance the game and was less interesting.
  • Added volume slider.
Improvements:
  • Improved climbing to snap position to the best distance to avoid getting stuck inside.
  • Improved ladders to add some speed when jumping off to make landing on nearby ledges easier.
  • Improved systems behind skills to allow easier global changes to functionality.
Tweaks:
  • Tweaked amount of sight offset when aiming, but in the future the change will be re-applied to iron sights. (Reverted temporarily because it negatively impacted scope visibility.)
  • Tweaked repair and supplies crafting icons to stay more consistent with everything else.
  • Tweaked blueprint + and = to use icons rather than text.
  • Tweaked graphics names to be more understandable and defaulted Level of Detail to High.
Fixes:
  • Fixed character inspect mouse position when scaled.
  • Fixed pressing escape when binding keys not leaving.
  • Fixed tearing up red cap.
  • Fixed spelling of Snayperskya.
  • Fixed scope rendering not disabling when dequipping a scoped gun.
  • Fixed character and scope images scaling poorly.
  • Fixed state toggle buttons default scale.
  • Fixed generator placement using the wrong data type.
  • Fixed underground player spawns in the South East.
