The Season of Hope is ending. The heroes of For Honor are on the cusp of a new Season: Tyranny. A strangely familiar visage is seen in the fog of war - proclaiming that “peace is poison.”

Warriors: Year 4, Season 2 is live on June 11th!





The Metal Trials will be live on June 11th! The much-anticipated Test Your Metal is back with a twist: a crowd of spectators. Group up with 3 of your friends and battle campaign mode powerhouses like Tozen, Gudmundr, and Apollyon for the enjoyment of the crowd!

A fun fact: the bosses receive bonuses if the players win a Bo7 round. So good luck grinding the throwback Event rewards, Warriors – as well as rewards for the heroes who did not exist during the previous Test Your Metal.




The Centurion rework of legend will finally come to the live game on June 11th. Thank you for your invaluable feedback from last September’s Testing Grounds, Warriors, and thank you for your patience.

Stay tuned for an article that will take a closer look at all of Centurion’s changes. Enjoy playing his updated moveset, and we hope you find playing him INCREDIBILIS.


The mysterious new hero will make their presence known on August 6th.

The changes we tried in the last Testing Grounds (now called the Core Combat Update) will also "go live" on August 6th. The Core Combat Update will result in a more dynamic experience for our players and disrupt the potentially stale defensive meta.

We’ll have more news before then, but for now: know that we’re keeping your Testing Grounds feedback regarding damage values, potential light spam, and Feats balancing in mind.




An Emote for the informal among us. Use this as you win a Metal Trials match to prove that no-one, not even the bosses from the campaign mode, can touch you on the battlefield.

The Recognition Emote is on sale! You can, of course, use this Emote to recognize the skill of your opponent. You can also use this Emote after you have ledged them. The context does give it a rather different meaning, so please be careful.

A message to our community,

First and foremost, we hope that everyone is doing well and is safe at home during these times. On our side, the team is still hard at work to keep For Honor fully operational even though we are doing so from home.

We are proud of how quickly everyone on the For Honor development team has adapted to the situation. However, even with all our efforts during these times, this unprecedented event has slowed down our ability to effectively test our upcoming content. For this reason, we have taken the decision to delay the release of Year 4 Season 2 to June 11, 2020. This delay of 6 weeks gives us the time we need to adapt our testing pipelines to this new situation.

We know that this news is disappointing; we were all excited to be able to show you what was coming to For Honor for the upcoming season. However, we are confident this was the right decision for us to be able to launch the content as we intended.

On a positive note, the team is currently working on a plan to be able to bring back fan-favorite activities to compensate for this delay. Those activities will be available in May and we will soon share more details within our May roadmap.

Hello Warriors! Today, we turn the page to the darker second chapter of the Blades of Persia event.

The Dark Prince has arrived on the battlefield. He’ll have all the Feats that you’ve come to expect from the Prince: the teleport punch, the power to slow time, and yes, the sand spears.

But there is good news. The Dark Prince drops the Dagger of Time upon being defeated.

All you have to do is pick the Dagger up, and all those powers are yours to use. But perhaps that’s easier said than done.



Until April 2nd, play the Wraith of Time playlist to fight the Dark Prince – as well as the opposing team – and take the Dagger of Time.
