TESTING GROUNDS
The first phase of Testing Grounds will start on August 29. During that phase, we will be testing balancing and rework of the following three Heroes: Centurion, Gladiator, and Warlord. More details are available in our Testing Grounds article.

Every Google Stadia game announced so far

Google held another one of their Stadia Connect conferences today, and this one was meant to be all about what games you’ll be playing in the “scary” cloud come November. Sure enough, there were new Stadia games aplenty announced this evening, with the biggest addition being Cyberpunk 2077.

To help keep track of them all, here’s a list of every Google Stadia game confirmed so far, as well as which games are coming at launch, which ones will be arriving a little bit later, and which games you’ll only be able to play by subscribing to one of the special Stadia publisher subscriptions.

NEW HERO - JORMUNGANDR

If you purchased the Year 3 pass, you have a one week exclusive access to our new Hero, the Jormungandr, starting today August 1st. All other players will be able to purchase the new Hero on August 8 for 15,000 in-game Steel.

The Jormungandr is our new Viking hero and is playable as both male (Gretar) and female (Hulda).



PATCH NOTES 2.11.0

Patch Notes 2.11.0 give you in-depth details on what you can expect from today’s maintenance (ending at 2PM EST).

Alan Wake, the action adventure game developed by Remedy, is free on Epic's store until 9th August.

For Honor, Ubisoft's melee multiplayer-focused action game, is also free on Epic's store until 9th August.

Why you should play For Honour (and not just because it's free on Epic right now)

Firstly, it s free on the Epic Store right now, and free is good. Secondly, For Honor is an axe-swinging good time for all involved, even those plummeting to their death from a comically high castle wall. It is zero pennies from today until next Friday, August 9. However, you re only getting the base edition, so no Shaolin monks or creepy mystics for you, at least not at the start. Those are the unlockable characters. But if you scab together enough steel, the in-game currency, you can eventually muck about with those brawlers. Whether or not you get that far, you should give this brutish slice em up a go. Mordhau has all the swordists in a loved-up tizzy at the minute, but I reckon For Honor is better. Let me break down why.

Ubisoft details Hulda, For Honor's upcoming season of Viking-themed content
FOR HONOR™

Ubisoft's online melee battler For Honor is poised to enter the third season of its third year of content on 1st August, and the publisher has shared early details of what players can expect to see when Season 3, subtitled Hulda, gets underway.

Hulda is a distinctly Viking-themed affair, introducing a new "feral warrior" clan known as the Jormungandr (Hulda being the male hero variant, and Gretar, the female). They're described as "Viking sectarians who wear their devotion to the Great Serpent", and, armed with the somewhat hilariously named War Hamarr, the clan "aims to crush the weak before Ragnarok comes, as they believe only the most worthy must remain for the Great Battle."

Those that own For Honor's current Year 3 Pass will be able to play as the Jormungandr immediately when the new season begins at 8pm BST on 1st August. All other players can access the hero from 7pm BST on 7th August, for the sum of 15,000 Steel.

They just keep coming don’t they? A lot of games were announced at E3 2019, things that we didn’t know about, as well as stuff that’s previously announced, or expansions to already released games. Now, to the casual outsider, what we’re doing might seem absolutely nuts, but we thought we’d put together an alphabetical list of all the PC games that have been confirmed to appear at this year’s E3 show. With well over a hundred of them now in the books, the next year or so looks packed.
