Hello Trovians!

Today our take on this year’s Green Game Jam is coming to an end, and we would like to take a moment to step back and highlight some of our favourite moments. Reflecting on the incredible sustainability efforts of the past month, we urge all Trovians to persist on the path of sustainability in their everyday lives. Keep using those green life hacks and making a difference for our planet! 🌍💚



One full month of cleaning the Trove oceans!

Since the start of the Green Game Jam, Trovians have been hard at work to make the Trove oceans a lot cleaner with the help of Qubesly and our beloved turtles, cleaning over 640.000 Salty Trash in just a month!

We’re truly inspired by our community’s dedication to ocean cleanliness!



On that note, we will also be rewarding the Trovians with the highest initiative with a handsome reward!

A truly sustainable month!

Throughout the month of June, we took it upon ourselves to post plenty of sustainability lifehacks to help our fellow Trovians become greener in their everyday activities!

Here are but a few of our favourite ones!



Harness the solar clothes-drying spell: Line-dry your laundry using sunlight and fresh air to save energy and reduce your carbon footprint. Just as your Trove character harnesses the power of nature, you can do the same in your daily life. Spread the word about this simple, eco-friendly practice and encourage others to join you.



Invoke the water-saving toothbrushing charm: Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth to conserve water and make every drop count. Share this simple yet effective habit with friends and family, encouraging them to join you in safeguarding our precious water resources.

These are just some of the things you can do to help our planet. We’re certain there are more lifehacks out there waiting to be discovered, like upcycling or adopting a meatless diet!

Let’s celebrate World Rainforest Day together with a fun building contest!

Starting today, until July 7, 2023, envelop your Cornerstone or Club in nature for a chance to win a reward!

Before we jump into it, here’s a rainforest fact! 🌴

“Rainforests are a powerful natural climate solution, not only do they regulate global temperatures, they also cool and regulate local micro-climates and limit the Earth’s reflectivity—which in turn stabilizes ocean currents, wind, and rainfall patterns.”

🌴How do I enter?

1. Build anything that is green and natural in Trove!
   
2. What can be built is completely up to you, so long as the theme of nature and rainforest is kept.
   
3. Take a screenshot of your creation and post it on Discord in the #world-rainforest-day channel or on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the #TroveWorldRainforestDay hashtag!
   
4. (Optional) Include a rainforest/nature fact in your entry!
   
5. Include your Character Name, Platform, Region (EU/NA) and build type (Club/Cornerstone) in your entry submission.
   
6. You’re good to go!

🌴Are there any rules?

1. Your build can be on either a Club or Cornerstone, but only one entry is allowed per participant.
   
2. A small amount of editing is allowed, as long as your build remains fully visible and remains within the theme.
   
3. Content that is inappropriate or offensive is strictly forbidden.
   
4. Entries that don’t include Character Name, Platform, Region (EU/NA) and build type (Club/Cornerstone) will be considered as not valid.
   
5. Build that are pre-existing and fulfil the contest theme requirements are considered valid.

Feel the tropical breeze as the Splendid Summer Event returns to Trove with a Hawaiian twist. From June 13, 2023, at 11 AM UTC until June 27, 2023, at 11 AM UTC, we’re celebrating the summer season with a beachy blast!

What can you do at the Splendid Summer event?
It’s simple! Log in, and complete the event adventure quests from GMQubesly, who is ready to trade Valor coins for a new set of Hawaiian-themed rewards. You can find Qubesly at the Hub, eager to exchange your hard-earned Valor coins for these exclusive items.

It’s World Ocean Day and we’re raising awareness about this wonderful day to celebrate and honour the one shared ocean that connects us all!

That said, let’s all celebrate together with a fun ocean-themed quiz for a chance to earn a Dev Dream Box until June 16!

Welcome to the Green Game Jam!

Starting today, take on a ton of fun in-game challenges for the whole month, help clear the Trove seas and lands from garbage and get rewarded, until July 5, 2023!


Qubesly has been incredibly busy of late removing trash and junk all over the place, but he now more than ever needs your help to clean as much waste as possible!

Head over to the Fae Forest and look out for Adventure Outposts where you will find some quite curious Bin Chickens who will gladly give you Tidal Treasures in exchange for certain items!



Make use of the Tital Treasures to exchange various items at the Recycling Recombobulator, like the mounts Six-Pack and Magestica, which work both on land and water and hold them close, you will need them to get rid of the Garbage Buoys found in the Treasure Isles biomes!


The Green Game Jam brings you the aforementioned Six-Pack and Magestica mounts, along with some new allies that increase your garbage collection rate!



Get yourself the Bin Chicken Commission Fountain fixture for your Cornerstone or Club world, the Sapling Sower and the Hyper Tree Friend returning rewards from the Recyclic Recombobulator!


By actively participating in the Green Game Jam activities and crafting as many Tidal Treasures as you can throughout the duration of the event, you will be able to win massive Credit rewards as a thank-you for your efforts!

Players from 1st to 5th place will receive 10000 Credits each!
Players from 6th to 10th place will receive 5000 Credits each!
Players from 11th to 20th place will receive 2500 Credits each!
