Hey Trovians,

Turn on your party block anthem for August, we’ve got some explosively exciting news for you! Throughout this month gedc and Mobi, two of Trove’s Community Managers, will light up the Hub and throw piñatas for the community to enjoy! For these piñata parties, we will be jumping back and forth between Bomber Royale and then partying in different Hubs on Trove.

We’ll announce in-game and on our social media channels when the party is getting started! Today we’ll kick things off and throw a party on PC! We plan to be dropping by a different platform each Friday (PC, PS4 EU, PS4 NA, and Xbox) this month. Keep your eyes out for other Trove devs throwing their own parties, too!

We are also excited to share more news about future developments and content coming up with an upcoming Producer’s Letter.

We are proud to announce that the Gardening 2.0 update is now in season, and that means that Gardening is bigger and better than ever. With new ways to craft, new plants to harvest, and new food to eat… It’s time to dig in!

We’ve turned Gardening up to 300, granting the rank of Horticulturist. There are also two new types of plants available: Vegetable Plants and Alchemy Plants. Alchemy Plants give you more of the resources you need, while Vegetable Plants give you vegetables to help you grow big and strong.

Eat your veggies! Wash your vegetables at the Vegetable Sink, then equip them in the Food slot to get a buff! This buff will go away over time, so make sure you keep the food coming.

How does your garden grow? All new Vegetable and Alchemy plants require watering and time before they can be harvested! Grab a Watering Can and get to sprinkling.

Reap all kinds of new rewards with Gardening:

• Bobble Pods are a fun new kind of pinata – throw them and watch them grow, then beat them up with some friends to get a shot at the Ridable Bobble Pod, a new immobile mount. Live out your best grocery store ride fantasies!
  
• Grow Ally Habitats together with your club – get the rare ally and watch the whole server tromp through your club!
  
• Kahramet, Warden of the Fields has also been attracted to Trove by the new growth – take flight on her flowery wings!
  
• New badges for Harvesting, Watering Plants, and Composting, each with their own rewards!

It’s time for Luxion to have a Spring Cleaning!

The event will be Live on PC and PS4 from 05.07.2019 at 11AM UTC (4AM PDT) until 05.28.19 at 11AM UTC (4AM PDT).

On Xbox One, it will be next Monday (May 14th), at 11AM UTC (4AM PDT) and will end on 06.04.19 at 11AM UTC (4AM PDT).

For this event:

- Talk to Luxion in the Hub. You’ll be provided a 6-step quest chain by Luxion which is clearing out old items that no longer make him happy
- Completing the quest chain provides a non-tradable golden chaos chest
- Luxion switches out his stock every Tuesday during the event and has a total of 20 different items for sale

The Spring Cleaning will not last forever so don’t hesitate and jump in now!!

Luxion of the Golden Hoard is a gorgeous dragon who returns to the Hub twice a month to trade goods for Dragon Coins. You’ll find Luxion near the Dragon Crucible from April 26 until April 29. He’ll vanish at 4AM PDT (11AM UTC) on April 29, so don’t wait too long!

We’re bringing Trove for PC offline tomorrow, April 4 at 8 AM PT (3 PM UTC) for a Bomber Royale Season 2 hotfix. Patchnotes can be found below.

Downtime will last approximately 1 hour.

• First Block in Bomber Royale no longer counts indirect kills, such as knocking someone off a cliff or in to lava. It now requires direct damage from bombs or bomb jump to get First Block.
  
• Bomber Royale Duo Queue has been disabled due to some confusion and other undesirable behavior. The solo queue has been re-enabled.
