Hey folks,

We’re going to be performing maintenance on our network during the ArcheAge downtime on December 12, 2018. There shouldn’t be any downtime at all for our other games. Most players likely won’t notice anything has happened, but we just wanted to give you all a head’s up.

However, during this maintenance, there is a chance that you may be disconnected from one of our other games. If this happens, fear not! You should be able to login again immediately. In the very worst-case scenario we’ll need to perform a restart on the servers for any game experiencing connection issues. Once the restart is complete, you’ll be able to play normally again.

• Revenant: Spirit Spears now has a brief cooldown.
  
• Fixed a minor exploit affecting the class power rank leaderboard.
  
• The Chronomantic Emblem's cooldown reduction can no longer be used to bypass the cooldown on using a flask after switching emblems.
  
• Builder's Chests now commonly award 25 Builderite, and Builder's Vaults now commonly award 25 Ancient Gears and uncommonly award 50 Ancient Gears.
  
• Mounts that can fly, bulldoze, or shoot lasers should now all grant 100 mastery.
  
• The Final Offer Spear Style gained for collecting Golden Hoard souls is now visible under Dragon Ascension in Collections.
  
• The Mastery Pinata Manifesto is now under Mastery rather than Legendary Tomes category in Collections.
  
• Fixed a client crash that could occur with new chaos chest rewards on the Welcome Screen.

Trovians,

We’re sorry it’s taken a while to get word out to the community. It was very important to us that any information we shared was completely locked in because we recognize the very valid concerns players will have when a situation like this arises.

The folks at gamigo are working very hard to make sure our team has the resources we need to move forward with ongoing development. This whole process has moved very quickly but there is still more work to do. Geode phase 2 is being finalized and we hope to have info on when that will release and what it will contain in the near future. We wanted to specifically call out that Uber 10 and the new surface biome on Geode are core components of the update.

Adjusting to a smaller dev team will give us the opportunity to create a more agile development structure. By moving away from massive, monolithic plans for each major update we can empower our designers and engineers to team up on features that excite them and then bring those features to the game more quickly.

A key part of this agile development structure will be to decouple the PC and console versions of Trove. We have the ability to quickly roll out features and fixes on the PC then put these updates together for the consoles separately. Console players will still receive all the PC content it’ll just be on different timelines.

We know you’re all anxious to hear more specifics about future content. Our immediate focus is to deliver Geode Phase 2 this year and will have more info to share on future updates after we’ve rolled out this important update.

Shadow’s Eve falls upon Trove on October 23, 2018. This year the spooky celebration is bigger than ever with an 8 Adventure chain, two weeks of Daily Login Rewards, plus all-new Outpost Adventures that can be completed every day of the event!

Shadow’s Eve
Each of the 8 Shadow’s Eve Adventures awards players with a new event reward called Shadowy Seals. You can also earn these seals every day by completing the repeatable Outpost Adventures offered by NPC in front of the Pumpkin House in the Trove Hub.

Each Shadowy Seal can be used at the Shadowy Station to craft scary epic items. Collect 10 Seals to craft the Bewitching Howlug ally. Collect 25 more to craft these gorgeous new Neon Hallowings!

Pumpkin Lairs are back in full force and can appear in any biome, including Forbidden Spires. Complete these dungeons to earn Candy Corn that can be used to craft Nightmare Mystery Boxes and other creepy collectables at the Shadowy Station.

The Colossal Chiropteran and the Uncanny Coffin, which were last year’s Mystery Box top prizes, can be crafted by anyone who missed out on them before.

When completing a 1-Star Dungeon, Todstrom has a chance to appear instead of a reward chest. Defeat him for an extra treat – Candy Corn and a rare chance at a Mobile Mummy mount!

Several sought after Halloween styles have been added to the Autumn Style Unlocker – Freaky Frankie, Moonhowl Mask, Brusque Broom, Bat Bow, and Pumpkin Pounder. In addition to all that, we’ve added 3 new hats styles to the unlocker as well - Pumpkin Pie-rate Hat, Rainbow Unicorn Wig, and Candy Corn Hood!
