If you saw last week’s blog post about our upcoming European tradeshow tour, then you know that we’re in England for EGX London today! As a part of the show happenings, we’re also taking part in Steam’s special Live from London sale that also kicks off today. This means that friends (that’s you) will be able to get discounts on our games whether they’re at the show or not!

From October 17th (today) through October 20th, all Behemoth games on Steam will be on sale during the entirety of Valve’s Live from London Steam Sale! This one is quick and will only last through the weekend, so you’re going to want to act fast if you want to take advantage of all the sweet deals.

It’s a great time to get Castle Crashers or BattleBlock Theater (or both of them) for yourself or a friend, because the two games will be on sale for a whopping 80% off! That’s no small savings on hours of fun. Beyond the classics you know and love, Pit People will also be available for 40% off! If you haven’t played our newest game, you’ll want to pick up the turn-based adventure.

It’s the perfect time to round out your Behemoth games collection, on Steam… just make sure you do so before the sale ends on October 20th.

There’s a chill in the air, and things are starting to feel just a little bit spooky. That could only mean one of two things: either someone left the door open, or it’s almost Halloween!

We just checked and the door is definitely shut, so we’re going with Halloween… which means it’s time for our very own Halloween contest! This year we’re looking for Behemoth-inspired Halloween decorations to fill us with fright and delight.

To enter, just post a photo of your Behemoth Halloween decor to Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook using the hashtag #BehemothHalloween before November 3rd, 2019 at 11:59 PM PT. We will review the entries and select three winners during the first week of November, with one winner for each category: (1) Best in Show, (2) Most Creative, and (3) Spooky Scariest. As the category names suggest, we will be judging based on creativity, originality, and the ability to make us feel things, scary or otherwise. The winner of each category will receive TWO Pit People figurines!

Check out all the official rules and deets here:

  • No purchase necessary.
  • Must be 18 or older to enter (if in the US), or have parental consent.
  • Group entries are allowed! (Only one prize pack per winning individual or group).
  • Your entry must be your own creation (or your group’s, parent’s, family’s).
  • Only new decoration entries will be accepted (entries that were submitted in previous years will not be eligible).
  • Decorations can include pumpkin carvings, special treats, or other decorations in or outside of your home… but they don’t have to! Mix it up, and be creative!
  • You may enter more than one unique entry.
  • International participants are welcome!

If you need a little inspiration to kick start your art, you can take a gander at the winners from our last Halloween contest here!

It's been a minute, but we have just a few fixes and improvements that we wanted to bring to the Pit. Please enjoy!

  • Fixed a bug where certain special head/faces were displaying incorrectly in replays.
  • Fixed a collision issue in CityTown Riot level.
  • Wraith debuff slightly decreased.
  • Stormstick and Thousand Shards damage slightly decreased.
  • Wraith bomb initial hit damage reduction
Developer Note: These were performing a bit too well in relation to other things in the game. They should now be in a spot where they are more balanced, but most users of the items shouldn't really notice the difference in output. Players should not have to shift their team comp at all, as they should perform as usual.

We’ve just released a hotfix containing some fixes and improvements to Pit People Update 7. Some of these contain spoilers so we’ve added spoiler tags to them!

  • Fixed a bug with a hex in Bloodbath Lagoon that prevented the player from progressing.
  • Fixed a bug in The Tale of Earl and Starlene that prevented the quest from ending when choosing to stay and fight.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented The Sultan of Shivers from showing up in Gulga Burr.
  • Fixed a bug in The General (CityTown Riot) that prevented the quest from ending when failing.
  • Fixed a rare crash when being knocked onto hazards.
  • Progression bar now displays as full with 100% completion.
  • Removed the “>” from the name “Izzy”. If you’ve already recruited this fighter, you will retain the original name. And congratulations to all those who now have this rare name!
  • Fixed an issue with Horatio speaking on the wrong side of the screen during one of the new quests. (Get it together, Horatio!)
  • Fixed an issue with all the food in Fort Ruffage appearing as drumsticks. (Unless you like drumsticks, in which case, apologies)
  • Fixed an issue with having multiple heroes. (Again, apologies)
