The upcoming game update will feature new headshot sound and visual effects. Here's a sneak peek.

Dev comments: There used to be no audio or visual feedback, letting the player know they've performed a headshot kill. We wanted the game to be more rewarding and transparent in this respect.

Now, a sequence of headshots will have a new mind-blowing sound effect to let you know just how skilled you are. Moreover, the headshot and headshot kill will have a new visual effect that will indicate if you are done with your opponent or if there's more lead to deliver.

The Marketplace on the website has been temporarily opened before its final closure on December 6th.

The Marketplace will be permanently closed on December 6th, but before that time you have a chance to open your crates and complete operations. On December 6th, the website tab will become unavailable and the articles you have put up for sale will return to your Inventories. All remaining crates and keys will be removed.


Let's be honest — as it currently stands, the Marketplace is outdated and no longer fits into our vision for the game's future development. It is a service that's available for a limited number of players who had bought access to the old battle passes on the website. So it isn't useful for the majority of the current audience. At the same time, most items are outdated, as they were available in the old battle passes several years ago.

Moreover, we want to make sure that both the PC and the console audiences have equal access to the services we create. So we don't plan to invest time and resources into developing them on the web, especially taking into account the vulnerabilities exploited by dishonest users. We aim to bring all possible services and activities into the game, like we did with the battle pass.


Q: When will the Marketplace become unavailable?
A: It'll close down on December 6th.

Q: Do you plan to add an alternative for the website Marketplace?
A: No, we don't.

Q: What will happen if I don't use my crates and keys before December 6th?
A: They will become unavailable.

As we have previously announced, in the coming months the official Russian version of Warface will no longer be available on Steam for players from a number of countries*.

On December 5th 2023, access to the Russian Warface server on Steam will be completely closed down.

*The discontinuation of the Russian Steam server support only applies to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you on official channels, where players from the above-mentioned countries will be able to continue playing Warface.

In the previous article, we've addressed the authorisation issues and promised a compensation as soon as those are dealt with. We're glad to announce, that most of the problems with logging in have been resolved, and we'll start handing out the compensation to those affected after the maintenance on November 23rd. This year, Warface has celebrated its 10th anniversary. Throughout all these years, the game has had its ups and downs, but still it is regularly updated and attracts thousands of new players. Warface is our true Labor of Love, we adore it and try to deliver you, our beloved community, high-quality content and many hours of fun.

Agent Fenrir joined the squad shortly after agent Bursti did, and also felt "otherworldly" to those around him. His personnel file, as thin and fictive as Huginn’s and Bursti's, was no longer of interest to anyone. However, Fenrir, though reluctantly, actually responds to the cover-up name he was given, and in general, does not seem to mind his fictional identity. Although he hasn’t forgotten, neither his past nor his real name.


Agent Fenrir joined the squad shortly after agent Bursti did, and also felt "otherworldly" to those around him. Other squad members were already accustomed to such mysterious appearances, and happily accepted a new combat comrade without any questions, especially those regarding his past. His personnel file, as thin and fictive as Huginn’s and Bursti's, was no longer of interest to anyone. However, Fenrir, though reluctantly, actually responds to the cover-up name he was given, and in general, does not seem to mind his fictional identity. The search for his long forgotten past also doesn't interest him too much, although that doesn't save him from check-ups by strange people in civilian clothes, who for some reason pay even more attention to him than to the rest of the trio.

However, there is an explanation for this: unlike Bursti, Fenrir does not have nightmares about his death, he remembers that moment clearly, remembers how the resilient Alfred, now officially John Brass, died in front of him, how the brave Anna, now known as Helga Mueller, disappeared after the shoot-out. And how something hit him in the chest and sent him into the bottomless darkness. He also remembers how some people operated on him after that, how implants and artificial organs took hold in his body. Those strange people were very concerned in making sure that he would forget everything. But he hasn’t forgotten, neither his past nor his real name — Lars Jensen.

He always recognizes the dungeon hidden in the Norwegian wilderness, the very "private clinic" where they take him and the other agents. And he realizes that his existence is only possible as long as he plays along with their games. But apparently they do suspect something because they are watching him too closely. However, Fenrir is aware of the power he now has, and enjoys all the benefits of a new, half-artificial body.

Earlier this year, we have announced that MY.GAMES declared a business restructuring process to continue developing the game in a way that aligns with our vision and enhances the experiences of our community. Which meant that the game would be relaunched with a new title in the future. We’re finally ready to reveal the title and introduce you to Warface: Clutch.


The inspiration for the name came from the fact that in games and sports there are moments of pressure where you are required to summon strength, concentration and grit to make that match-defining play. This is what we want our players to experience, their moves, their strategy and their reflexes define the match. Frantic gameplay with a competitive edge, that’s what Clutch is about.


The rename to 'Warface: Clutch' is part of a gradual process of improving the game. While we’ve already taken some steps to advance toward that goal, such as adding new content to the console version from the PC version, this is only the start. We want to ensure that the PC and console versions are matching in both content and patches. This also means that events (both seasonal and game related) are getting overhauled.

Behind the scenes, the development team is also being strengthened to deliver more high quality updates, but some features are already making their way into the game such as a new ranked matches system, new weapons and updates to the game’s contract system. A large update is still being prepared to ship before the end of the year.

We’ll share more news on the development of Clutch in the coming months. This is the first step of a long-running journey as we enter a fresh chapter.
