The game now offers the Colt M1911A1 and the Switchblade from the brand-new series "Honor", a gear set, a weapon charm and achievements.

Agent "Baudo" Set

The set includes arms and camouflages of the "Anaconda" series, a Rifleman character skin, a weapon charm and achievements designed in the style of the agent, as well as new contracts, by completing which you can get the listed articles and other useful items.

"Eagle Shot" Series

We are glad to present to you a new weapon series with an unusual appearance. The weapon frames are decorated with feathers and other impressive elements. In addition, the models of the new series have a unique geometry. The weapon series includes the SAR 109T Specs and the AWP.

As an experiment, Random Boxes with "Eagle Shot" camos have guaranteed drops for the 50th and the 100th opening. Share your thoughts about this innovation in the comments!

The "Big Hunt" event is in full swing. Have you already collected cool gifts for your success in battles? We have extended the event until May 12th, so you will have more time to gain them all!


The "Big Hunt" is a large-scale gaming event with unique rewards. It preserves the general principle of the previous "Prison Break" and "Winter Fiesta" events — play, earn a special currency and spend it on desired items. But the new event offers a lot of improvements. Read on to learn more about them.


While working on the new event, we took into account your feedback on the previous events, and made many significant improvements. We will tell you more about them below.

PvP Mode "Gun Game"

The main goal of the mode is to eliminate opponents with different arms and go through the entire chain of available weapon models as quickly as possible. In this mode, players do not choose their weapons. The arm automatically changes as soon as the soldier meets the condition of the current stage. The one who first tries out all the weapons and performs the final kill with the last arm wins. In this mode, you'll find familiar maps from the "Free for All" mode: "Motel", "Sanctuary" and "Widestreet".



PvE Mission "Retaliation"

In the new mission, you will continue to fight for Blackwood. The soldiers will have to search the enemy logistics base and uncover the secrets the opponent is hiding.

The warehouse is well guarded, and a lot of challenges will await you on the way: turrets, mines, electric traps, as well as the final boss — a helicopter. So watch out!



Unique Rewards

For your success in battles, you will receive unique items that can only be obtained in the "Big Hunt" event. The prizes include boxes with weapons from the "Zone" series, unique achievements and charms, the agent "Carp" skin, as well as a novelty for medics — the SIX12 AUTO-SD.


We have completely reworked the reward system in "Big Hunt". In the previous events, players could only spend the accumulated currency to buy crates with random content. But in the current event, players can choose the desired items — accumulate the currency and buy what you want!

Rewards for Matches

Play in the "Big Hunt" event modes! Get a certain number of victories in PvE and PvP to earn thematic achievements and camouflages. The PvE mode takes into account the successful completions of the "Retaliation" mission, and the PvP mode — the completed matches in the "Gun Game" mode (the top 5 places).

By winning, you can get "Zone" skins for the Ruger Mk IV Lite and the Hunting Knife, al well as cool distinctions.




Event Shop

The game event shop offers an assortment of cool novelties: the SIX12 AUTO-SD, Agent Carp Medic Suit, boxes with weapons from the "Zone" series, stunning achievements and exclusive weapon charms.

SIX12 AUTO-SD

The SIX12 AUTO-SD is a modern bullpup shotgun chambered for the 12-gauge shells. The novelty sports a high rate of fire, good accuracy and excellent range. In addition, the gun has increased damage multipliers. The perks are set off by a significantly reduced (compared to the rest of the Medic's arsenal) base damage and a modest cylindrical magazine that can hold up to 6 rounds.



This combination of characteristics embodies a classic arm for the Medic - a fighter who easily eliminates opponents at close range, but gradually loses power as the firing distance increases. Be sure to play with the new weapon and share your thoughts!

Agent Carp



Egor was born in a small village in Kazakhstan. During an urgent and contract service, he became a military physician, and also took part in several dozens of combat and rescue operations in destroyed nuclear power plants and in chemical disaster zones.

After the army, Egor did not join the ranks of a private military company, but instead began to work on commission, choosing rather difficult contracts. The young man was in good standing thanks to a lucky combination of rare skills.

Egor was very fond of equipment and, despite his wealth, preferred to procure equipment during missions, examining abandoned high-security locations. "This is the only way to get the best equipment" — the young man thought, while studying the contents of the lockers from abandoned bunkers and missile control centers. Was this right or wrong? Well, so far, none of Egor's allies has died due to radiation or poisoning, which says a lot!

"Zone" Series

The new weapon series features the best guns! Check out the in-game shop for boxes with the following weapons: IWI Galil ACE Gen II Rifle, Benelli Super Black Eagle 3, SIG 552 Commando and Benelli MR1 from the "Zone" series.



Weapon Charms and Achievements



The shop also offers three new weapon charms and thematic stripes — decorate your arms with an all-new accessory!


It is very simple to gain currency in the event - just play the new event modes and earn Black Market Coins. Moreover, there are three contracts available in the game. Complete them to receive a large amount of currency. There are both regular contracts with simple tasks, and a one-time more complex one, by completing which you will receive 1000 coins. H&K VP9 Match

The H&K VP9 Match is an all-new secondary weapon that will soon appear in the game. It is a self-loading pistol developed by order of the Bavarian police. The specifications of the new model will remind you of the well-known Ruger Mk IV Lite, but the new pistol boasts higher damage and a more spacious magazine. In addition, the H&K VP9 Match has good accuracy and comfortable recoil.



The golden version has an improved range of fire.

Boxes with the weapon will soon become available in the game shop.

"Highway" and "Truck Parking" Maps

Blackwood is advancing again! Now, the enemy decided to assault trucks of the largest logistics company ELS. However, their plan has been derailed: a Warface squad immediately arrived at the site and put up a fight.

The maps are balanced so that any class can find comfortable positions for combat. Medics and Engineers will unleash their potential in close-quarter encounters among containers and trucks, while Snipers will easily occupy vantage points on high ground. As for Riflemen, they will efficiently fight in open spaces.

Saboteur Engineer Suit

The game now offers a new skin for Engineers. Are you in love with explosives and can't wait to make a "big bang" on "Plant the Bomb" maps? Then the new skin is definitely what you need!

We continue to improve the in-game interface. In this update, changes have been made to the in-game store, which now has filters. So you can select a currency to check out only the items available for purchase with it.

SAR 109T Specs

The SAR 109T Specs is a modular submachine gun developed by the Turkish company Sarsilmaz in 2014. As for its specs, the novelty is similar to the Quarter Circle 10 SMG Custom. It will delight Engineers with a high rate of fire and good damage. In addition, the submachine gun has excellent accuracy.



The golden version features a larger magazine and higher ammo capacity.

• Fixed some causes of game client crashes. For example, in the "Gun Game" mode, the game could crash when loading into a match.

Have you had time to regain your strength for the new event? Then we are glad to let you know that the large-scale "Big Hunt" event has begun! Let's dive into the details.


The "Big Hunt" is a large scale gaming event in which both PvP mode and PvE mission stans will be able to participate in. It preserves the general principle of the previous "Prison Break" and "Winter Fiesta" events — play, earn a special currency and spend it on desired items. However, the gameplay has been completely reworked.



The new event includes the following novelties:

• a PvP mode "Gun Game";
  
• a PvE mission "Retaliation";
  
• an updated shop with unique event items;
  
• a vault that allows you to accumulate more currency;
  
• rewards for a certain number of victories in the modes

In the "Big Hunt", there are two modes that you can play — in the PvP part of the event, you will experience a new mode called "Gun Game", and we have prepared the all-new "Retaliation" mission for PvE fans.




The main goal of the mode is to eliminate opponents with different arms and go through the entire chain of available weapon models as quickly as possible. In this mode, players do not choose their weapons. The arm automatically changes as soon as the soldier meets the condition of the current stage. The one who first tries out all the weapons and performs the final kill with the last arm wins. In this mode, you'll find familiar maps from the "Free for All" mode: "Motel", "Sanctuary" and "Widestreet".

After death, the character will respawn in a random place on the map and will be invulnerable for some time (or until the first movement).

The game in the new mode is carried out on an equal footing. All players have the same equipment, advance through the same chain of weapon models, and start with the same guns. To move to a new stage and get a new weapon, the player needs to make two kills. The list of weapons on each map is different, you can check them out here.


In the new mission, you will continue to fight for Blackwood. The soldiers will have to search the enemy logistics base and uncover the secrets the opponent is hiding.

The warehouse is well guarded, and a lot of challenges will await you on the way: turrets, mines, electric traps, as well as the final boss — a helicopter.



Good news for those who love a challenge! The terminal activation phase can be completed in three ways.

• By activating the terminals one by one. That way, you will be attacked by a small enemy party, which you'll be able to easily deal with.
  
• By activating two terminals at a time. That way, there will be more enemies, and they will be stronger. The difficulty increases, and the time to complete the phase decreases.
  
• By activating all the terminals at the same time. This is the maximum difficulty, lots of enemies and a mini-boss — the cargo droid.

So, you can complete the mission quickly, but at an increased difficulty; or waste more time, but with a lower difficulty. In addition, there are several Easter eggs hidden on the map — can you find them all?


The way to earn the event currency remained the same as before — you just need to play in the event modes. In addition, you can add even more event currency to your account — three event contracts have appeared in the game. By completing them, you can earn a large amount of the currency.

And if that's not enough, you can also purchase the currency. To do that, open your desired item in the event store, then click on the "Purchase" button. You will be offered to buy 300, 800 or 2000 black market coins.

In the new event, the way players receive the currency on their accounts has changed. Now, each soldier has a personal vault — after a match, part of the currency you earned is placed there, and the rest is credited directly to your account. This will allow you to increase your earnings in the "Big Hunt".

After purchasing access to the vault, all the currency that you have accumulated inside will be transferred to your account. In future matches, this will happen automatically — the currency you gain will be immediately transferred to your account.



Please note: after the event, all the currency on the player’s account and in the vault will expire. Be sure to spend it before the event is over!


In the previous events, players could only spend the accumulated currency to buy crates with random content. But in the "Big Hunt" event, players can choose the desired items — accumulate the currency and buy what you want!


In the shop, you can buy boxes with weapons from the "Zone" series, unique achievements and charms, the agent "Carp" skin, as well as a novelty for medics — the SIX12 AUTO-SD.




Play in the "Big Hunt" event modes! Get a certain number of victories in PvE and PvP to earn thematic achievements and camouflages. The PvE mode takes into account the successful completions of the "Retaliation" mission, and the PvP mode — the completed matches in the "Gun Game" mode.

The second Ranked Matches season dedicated to the "Rock Solid" update has already kicked off. Prove your skills every season to gain recognition and additional bonuses. The current Ranked Matches season offers new rewards such as Saboteur Gerber Tomahawk Random boxes, the Saboteur skin for the Gerber Tomahawk and a Ruby Bullet Ring Charm. You can also gain exclusive achievements: the "IED" mark, the "Wire" badge and the "Timer" stripe.

• The unique stripe "You can not beat me!" and the "Warface Ranking Matches League" badge will be given immediately upon reaching the 1st and the 21st leagues respectively.
  
• Temporary weapons (for 3 days) will be awarded for the 21st - 9th leagues.
  [*Camos and achievements for leagues are permanent.
  
• If you skip a season, you’ll have to wait until the 12-season cycle is complete to try and earn the first league achievement again! All achievements can be obtained only once.
  
• To obtain achievements according to the occupied places ("Special Metal Forces Squad", "Silver Veterans Squad", "Elite Carbon Squad" or "Gold Legendary Squad") and camos after the end of the season, you must log into the game during the next season. Otherwise, if you come back after several seasons of Ranked Matches, the reward will be lost.

PvE Mission "Retaliation"

In the new mission, you will continue to fight for Blackwood. The soldiers will have to search the enemy logistics base and uncover the secrets the opponent is hiding.



The warehouse is well guarded, and a lot of challenges will await you on the way: turrets, mines, electric traps, as well as the final boss - a helicopter. Be careful! In addition, there are several Easter eggs hidden on the map - can you find them all?

PvP mode "Gun Game"

The PvP part of the event features a new "Gun Game" mode where the main goal is to eliminate opponents with different arms and go through the entire chain of available weapon models as quickly as possible. In this mode, players do not choose weapons. The arm automatically changes as soon as the soldier meets the condition of the current stage. The one who first tries out all the weapons and performs the final kill with the last arm wins.



The game in the new mode is carried out on an equal footing. All players have the same equipment, advance through the same chain of weapon models and start with the same guns. To move to a new stage and get a new weapon, the player needs to make two kills. After death, the character will respawn in a random place on the map and will be invulnerable for some time (or until the first movement).

Special Contracts

There are now three event contracts at your disposal. Complete them to add even more event currency to your account. With its help, you will quickly get closer to the desired reward and will be able to significantly increase your earnings in the "Big Hunt". Click on the links to learn contract details.

SIX12 AUTO-SD

The SIX12 AUTO-SD is a modern bullpup shotgun chambered for the 12-gauge shells. The novelty sports a high rate of fire, good accuracy and excellent range. In addition, the gun has increased damage multipliers. The perks are set off by a significantly reduced (compared to the rest of the Medic's arsenal) base damage and a modest cylindrical magazine that can hold up to 6 rounds.



This combination of characteristics embodies a classic arm for the Medic - a fighter who easily eliminates opponents at close range, but gradually loses power as the firing distance increases. Be sure to play with the new weapon and share your thoughts!

Agent "Carp" Set

The agent pack includes weapons and camos of the "Zone" series, a unique skin for Medics, weapon charms and achievements designed in the agent's style, as well as new contracts yielding the listed content and other useful items. This year is very special for the project since, in April, we celebrate the 10th anniversary since the Warface launch. This is a cool date, and we have prepared a lot of festive novelties to mark the occasion. This year, we will celebrate Warface Day together, regardless of the territory and game platforms. The "Big Hunt" event will be only part of the grand party.

The game will offer festive contracts yielding boxes with cool weapons, beautiful camouflages and achievements, as well as a permanent Multipurpose Raid Vest!

Festive Weapon Charm and Set of Achievements

During the celebration, you can get thematic customization items: a special weapon charm and a set of achievements. With these articles, you can decorate your profile and give your favourite weapon a fresh coat of paint.

Easter Set

According to our intel, on Easter week, you will be able to put on thematic character outfits including a nice rabbit skin. Are you as excited as we are? As soon as we find out how you can get the festive camos, we'll be sure to share the info.


Texture Streaming

We continue to rework textures for the full-fledged operation of the technology, which allows us to optimize the load on the PC. This update is the next step in the process and weighs ~5.5 GB.


AWP

Based on the testing results, we have decided to revise the sniper rifle settings and made the following tweaks:

• increased range (from 50 to 80);
  
• increased rate of fire (from 34 to 37);
  
• increased ADS speed;
  
• improved aiming animation;
  
• tweaked recoil while using the sniper scope;
  
• reduced sway.

Weapons and Gear

• IWI Galil Ace Gen II Rifle: reworked the weapon model in the third person view; updated the weapon model size of the golden version.
  
• Changed set icons (items for the in-game store), which include the "Apostate" and "Snowstorm" armour sets.

Other

• The game lobby has been replaced with its thematic version in the style of the "Big Hunt" event.
  
• Battle Pass: the timer in the daily quest section is now updated in real time (it used to be updated only when the section was opened).
  
• Updated localization: added some missing in-game and item descriptions, fixed some inconsistencies.

• Progression System: fixed a bug due to which the reward for reaching level 450 was missing.
  
• Fixed a bug due to which the slide sound continued to play even if the character's slide had been interrupted (for example, by colliding with an obstacle).
  
• Fixed a bug that allowed players to equip prohibited items in Ranked Matches.
  
• Sunrise: fixed a bug due to which, in some cases, the player interacting with a portable shield could be kicked by the defense system.

Weapons and Gear

• Golden S&W M&P R8: fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to install the collimator EOTECH 553 on the revolver.
  
• IWI Galil ACE Gen II Rifle: fixed the size of the achievement icons for kills made with this model.

PvE and SpecOps

• Sunrise: fixed an exploit that allowed movement with a portable shield at normal speed.

Other

• "Trickster" Contract:
  - fixed a bug due to which some tasks yielded permanent items without repairs.
  - fixed an incorrect localization of the first contract stage.
  
• Massive Removal of Expired Items: fixed a bug due to which the icons of some items were not displayed in the list.

• When receiving several boxes (for example, as a reward for completing a contract task), the player sees only the contents of the first box. Items from other boxes are automatically sent to the Inventory.
  
• PvE mission "Retaliation": during a helicopter flight, some environmental objects are not displayed.
  
• The localization of some texts is missing.
