You and our team have stuck together during the project's entire development, today Warface has over 120 million registered users worldwide, and we couldn't be more grateful. Which is why we want to continue developing the game in a way that aligns with our vision and enhances the experiences of our community.


Towards the end of 2022, MY.GAMES declared a business restructuring process following its decision to exit from the Russian market. As per this strategy, MY.GAMES will relaunch the console and PC versions of the game as a separate product with an alternative name. Meanwhile, the PC-version of the game for Russian players will retain the name Warface, and its further development and publishing will be carried out by another company called Astrum Entertainment.


The new MY.GAMES title — which will start out with the existing Warface version and user profiles — will contain its own roadmap, direction, updates, and unique regional content, including new maps, weapon series, events and more! Our teams are dedicated to not only continuing to support the game, but to iterate, and innovate the project to uphold and continue its remarkable legacy.

We're excited to develop our renewed title from this amazing beginning point, and we're looking forward to providing you, our players, with a lot of interesting content this year.

Regular parts contracts will soon be reworked in the game. We've studied your feedback, analyzed the statistics of completed tasks and decided to merge them into one contract, retaining the number of simultaneously completed tasks and availability in PvE (previously, only one of the contracts could be done in PvE), as well as making the tasks easier. We describe the changes below.

• Tweaks to the tasks:
  - now the list of available task conditions is always the same;
  - the progress of all the tasks is counted simultaneously, and it is possible to repeat the task after completion;
  - there are no more tasks that are related to gameplay (eliminations while sliding, jumping, using grenades or melee weapons, etc.);
  - now tasks are done by just playing — you need to perform actions you already do during the match (dealing damage, eliminating opponents, ending sessions).
  
• After the completion of the contract you will receive 400 parts: 50 parts for each task and 250 after completion of all the tasks.
  
• We've reduced the number of tasks that need to be completed to finish the contract. Previously, contracts required more than 8 tasks to be completed on average, now there are only 3 tasks.

The changes will go live in future updates of the game. In the meantime, share your thoughts in the comments!

New tasks unlock every day at 09:00 UTC (11:00 CEST), so make sure to set an alarm if you want to get there first!



Please note: There will be 14 tasks on the promo pgae, but you will have until the 30th of April to complete them and collect your prizes!

A festive event "Challenge" is already live! You are in for the Team Gun Game mode, a new device "Adrenaline" for Riflemen, a new weapon series "Crater" and more. Read on to learn the details. And happy Warface Day!


We'd like to present to you a festive in-game event "Challenge" with lots of rewards you can get for participating. Before rushing into battle, you'll have to choose which side to fight on — Warface or Blackwood. Choose wisely as it'll affect the rewards you'll get in the end. After making the decision, try and earn as many points for the chosen team and do your best, together, to get the unique rewards!

• All the event participants that choose a side will receive a melee weapon as a reward. Which one and in what colour scheme depends on the final event winner. So, if Warface achieves victory in the event, everyone will get a weapon with its symbols even if you chose to fight for Blackwood.
  
• The members of the winning team will also get a unique victory achievement.
  
• For a certain contribution to the faction progress, the player will be able to receive additional achievements.
  
• PvE players will be able to earn the event currency and faction points by playing the Special Operations "Earth Shaker", "Operation Blackwood", "Heist" and Hydra". The event currency is granted only for the first successful mission completion in Quick Play (you can get up to three rewards in total for "Earth Shaker" — 60, 90 and 130 black market coins for the victories of the day on "Easy", "Normal" and "Hard"). You will get faction points for all matches.

PvP Mode "Gun Game"

Like in the previous events, you have to go through a chain of weapon models and score the maximum number of team points for eliminating opponents. The maps of the mode have dynamic respawn points. After death, the character respawns in a random place near allies and is invulnerable for a short time.

The fight in the mode goes on an equal footing. All players have the same equipment, go through the same chain of weapons and start with the same guns. You need to make two eliminations to move to a new stage and to automatically get a new weapon.

What's new in the Team Gun Game mode?

• The mode now includes the "Hangar", "Gas Station", and "Destination" maps.
  
• The "Destination" map has got visual changes to fit the Warface Day stylistic. You'll see festive decorations such as screens with screenshots of important game moments, balloons, and a ton of Easter eggs that the oldies of Warface will surely appreciate.
  
• Battles finish when a team scores 200 points (used to be 150) or when the timer ends if 200 points are not scored.
  
• Eliminating an enemy with the last weapon of the chain will yield 10 points instead of 1, which will help the most skilled players to bring their team closer to victory.
  
• Now users will see the next weapon in the chain. It'll help come up with tactics and plan your movements ahead.

"Destination" (Warface Day)

On the map "Destination" (Warface Day), the teams will fight against the festive background of the themed map. Every corner of the map is decorated with bright colours, balloons and many different decorations, reminiscent of Warface Day.

But despite the fact that the map is saturated with the celebratory atmosphere, players should not relax. They must constantly remain alert, ready for any challenge. Players will be able to discover many Easter eggs that add a special flavour to the map and add a pinch of nostalgia. Can you find them all?



Event Rewards

Faction Victory Rewards

In the event, you will have to choose one of the two opposing factions: Warface or Blackwood.

At the end of the event, you will receive the weapon of the winning side regardless of the chosen faction. It'll be either the Crater Hunting Knife or the Crater Survival Machete. Keep track of the confrontation progress to increase the pressure and get the coveted reward!

"Crater" Weapon Series

The weapon series "Crater" is inspired by the Special Operation "Earth Shaker" and Warface Day. Each item carries the number 11 as a symbol of the 11th anniversary of the project. In addition, the whole series is decorated with elegant and stylish patterns.

But the external qualities of "Crater" weapons are not their only advantage. The series includes the SA Hellion, Benelli M2 SP, Taurus CT9 G2 and the Kel-Tec RDB-C. They're a perfect choice if you are looking for weapons that will also be effective in combat.

Charms and Achievements

At the end of the event, all participants will be rewarded with achievements of their faction. If the faction you selected wins, the participants who fought for this party will receive a unique victory achievement. Be on top and prove that you are a real hero!

Adrenaline

A new device for the Rifleman called "Adrenaline" has been added to the game. It can be obtained in the event store. By using it, the character immediately restores 75 HP and continues healing themselves for the next 2 seconds. With mods, you can extend its effect duration and get additional bonuses:

• Increased accuracy, reload and weapon switching speeds, but slower character movement.
  
• Increased movement speed and stamina, but less protection against incoming damage.
  
• Increased protection against incoming damage, but no HP regeneration (with most equipment).
  
• +1 "Adrenaline" syringe.

To make it easier to activate the device, you can use a dedicated button. By default, it is set to the "I" or the "O" keys. You can independently configure the use of "Adrenaline" to any other button in the settings. Using the quick-access button, you can quickly activate the device and automatically switch to the main weapon.

We plan to add "Adrenaline" to Ranked Matches, but before that happens, we need to make sure everything works as intended and the new item does not ruin the game balance. Therefore, we'll announce its being added to RM later.



Updated Showcase and Its Progress Bar

A further novelty of this season is an updated showcase that now features a reward progress bar.

How does it work?

• Use a special button to refresh the items in the showcase. The button is activated with the event currency.
  
• The showcase is automatically updated every day.
  
• Each refresh activation adds to the progress bar.
  
• When 100% is reached, you'll get an exclusive offer to get one of four valuable items for free.
  
• After making your choice, the other items become no longer available, the progress bar resets, and you can fill it up again and reach a new offer.
  
• The amount of offers in unlimited.
  
• The items for special offers are chosen randomly and may repeat.

What are the event rewards?

• In the showcase, under the first card, you'll always get items that you can take for free. Among such items are cards for the new "Crater" series and parts. Under the other cards, you'll find content from the previous updates. The price reduction varies and can reach 40%, all items can be purchased for the event currency.
  
• To get weapons of the "Crater" series, you need 1,200 cards of the model that you are interested in.

If you don't have time to accumulate the required amount of the event currency, there is an opportunity to purchase it. Packs of 300, 800, 2,200 or 5,000 black market coins are available in the event store to help you get the coveted new articles.

Once the event is over, all black market coins will expire. Don't forget to spend your savings!

Now each contract is not only an opportunity to earn the event currency to obtain a variety of rewards, but also a tool for helping your team to collect faction points. Join the combat and get well-deserved rewards!

Haven't logged into the game for quite a while? It's time to return if you want to preserve your character's name. The character name database will be updated soon, and all names of accounts that have been inactive for over a year will be reset: they will be replaced by the default "u_ХХХХXXXX". To avoid this, log into the game before April 13th. If you have several characters in your account, you should log into the game with each of them in order not to lose the characters' name.

LOG INTO THE GAME BEFORE APRIL 13TH TO PRESERVE YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME!

The renaming will affect those who have not logged into the game for a year. If you are active and have recently played Warface, your account name will not be reset. It is worth warning friends who have not launched the game for quite a while.

Users whose characters will get renamed will still be able to play without restrictions and can choose a new name for free on a special page.

The game now offers a new character skin Major Wharton, a new weapon series "Sea Hunter" and three themed contracts with the new content. Major Wharton has joined the ranks of Snipers as part of the "Legends" season. Lee Austin Wharton is an ordinary country boy, the youngest of three children in his family. He was born and spent his childhood in Hinchwell, Texas, in the family of a local sheriff. The hardships of life pushed him to serve in the army. It was the only way to escape from his father's house.

It's time to look at the story of Warface through the eyes of the man who started it!




Lee Austin Wharton is the third child in the family of John Lee and Teresa Wharton from Hinchwell, Texas. They were quite ordinary decent residents of the American province. The young Lee was in for the same quiet and comfortable life as thousands of other children from small towns. However, when the future general was 13 years old, his brother Tyler was killed during a robbery of the local post office. This tragedy changed the life of the family. Not resigned to the loss of his eldest son, John Lee began to abuse alcohol heavily, against which he had constant conflicts with Lee Austin.

Unable to start a peaceful career and desperate to leave his father's house, in 1991 Lee Austin joined the US Army. Until 2001, he did not participate in major operations, but served inside the country. Over these ten years he managed to make a very successful career: having joined the army as a simple private, by 2000 he had already become a major.

And the reason for this ascent was not only his natural determination bordering on stubborness and devotion to duty. During his service, Lee participated in a number of military operations that the army conducted (not always officially) in South America and the Middle East. He repeatedly showed his skills as a fighter and commander in the fight against drug cartels and slave traders. It was during such missions that the future general got interested in spearfishing. This hobby took up all his free time. And he showed the occupation to the command of his unit. Probably, this factor played a role in the successful career of Lee Austin Wharton as well.

A hotfix has been installed on the game servers. This update fixes a number of bugs related to Ranked Matches and the RM shop, a visual bug with incorrect currency debiting when activating contracts and the profile action buttons (disabling voice communication and submitting complaints about a player).

Important

• Fixed a bug due to which, when activating contracts, the currency was debited twice. It was a visual error, in fact, the currency was debited from the player's balance only once.
  
• Fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to disable the voice chat or send an in-game complaint.

PvE and SpecOps

• "Rift: Revelation": fixed a bug due to which Battle Pass XP was not awarded for completing the mission.

Other

• Ranked Matches:
  - fixed a bug due to which the limit on the maximum amount of the rating currency was not applied. If you have more than that on your account, the currency will no longer be credited (except for rewards for moving up leagues and divisions) until you spend it and go down to the limit;
  - fixed a bug due to which the number of wins and losses was incorrectly displayed on the transition matches screen.
  
• Ranked Matches Shop:
  - fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to purchase random boxes (currency was not debited and empty contents were displayed);
  - fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to repurchase 1-piece items if the player bought them during the previous season.
  
• "Legend Reanimator" achievement: fixed a bug due to which the conditions for obtaining the achievement mentioned 500 resurrections instead of 2,000.

• After receiving several boxes as login streak rewards, only the first box opening animation is played. The content is credited correctly for all received boxes.
  
• Taurus CT9 G2: the visual effects of the Ranked Matches progression charms are displayed incorrectly while jumping.
  
• Battle Pass: some UI elements overlap with the Shooting Range when inspecting the reward in the window where additional BP levels can be purchased for Kredits.
  
• The background of the in-game lobby may be displayed incorrectly when using certain skins or pieces of equipment.
  
• No clan system pop-up notifications (invitation, role change or exclusion) are displayed.
