We hope that you are fully ready for a new Battle Pass season. And we are glad to announce that it will soon be launched. "First Division" offers lots of cools rewards both in the BP progression and in the seasonal shop — you can get the best arms for all classes. Let's move on to the details.
PROGRESSION AND REWARDS
One of the main features of the upcoming BP season are unique rewards in the Battle Pass shop. The store will offer cool models with competitive characteristics, it will be exciting to hunt for such guns. You will be able to replenish your arsenals with them and effectively fight in all modes.
We are sure that the rewards should be worth the efforts — it is fair to all parties. Therefore, the total amount of experience required to fully unlock the Battle Pass progression has been increased in comparison with the previous season, where the rewards for completing missions had a lower value. In future, the BP difficulty will also depend on the value of its prizes.
You will have 60 days to unlock all levels. You can still take part in the event for free. Just like in the previous season, free Battle Pass access opens only some rewards (marked as "Free"). To fully complete the BP progression and be able to buy models for BP coins in the seasonal store, you will need the extended Battle Pass access. There are 50 standard levels and 25 additional levels in the BP progression (the additional levels are only available with a premium BP access). In prestige levels, you will get more coins, which means more arms to replenish your arsenal. If, for some reason, you find out that you do not have enough time to complete the BP progression, you can always speed up the progress by purchasing the premium access. Read more about the extended access below.
Moreover, there will be a contract available yielding a box with powerful golden weapons: IWI Galil ACE Gen II Rifle, Benelli Super Black Eagle 3, TX-15 SBR and Barrett MRAD Mk22. Check out the details below.
PREMIUM ACCESS
All types of the extended Battle Pass access cost the same as in the last season. In total, there are 5 levels of premium access available. The higher the access level, the faster you will be able to level up. Each level of the extended Battle Pass access provides additional level up bonuses such as increased experience gain for matches, additional daily task slots, faster progress in Battle Pass tasks and contracts.
By purchasing premium access to the Battle Pass, you will automatically receive all the free rewards at the end of the Battle Pass, even if you have not managed to unlock them.
BATTLE PASS SHOP
The best arms for all classes are waiting for you in the Battle Pass shop! The store offers weapons from the "Ultimate Force" series — IWI Galil ACE Gen II Rifle, SIX12 AUTO-SD, SAR 109T Specs and AWP. The models of this series have a futuristic design — they have holographic sights, as well as a display on which you can track the number of rounds in the magazine. Hurry up to get the unique guns!
Weapons in the BP shop can be purchased with Battle Pass coins obtained by leveling up. In addition, after reaching level 50, you will get a chance to obtain weapons for Kredits.
See you in battle!

We have recently announced a big change in the game – a reworking of the Ranked Matches. You are actively discussing the news within the community and are asking a lot of questions, and this is awesome! We have been paying close attention to your feedback on the new system and forwarded it to the developers. Now, we are ready to answer the most frequent questions you have asked.
Matchmaking
Q: Is it possible to take into account the player's rank for matchmaking in the RM as well, so that players with a big difference in ranks would not be matched to the same room? A: The new system implies matchmaking based on the player's rating, not rank, to create more balanced matches. We consider the player's rating a more reliable parameter to compare players' skills.
Q: Would not the changes in the matchmaking impact the match searching time? A: The matchmaking has expandable player searching ranges. The parameters will be tweaked at the early stages of the new system launch to set the best searching time to players' rating ratio.
Q: Why is there a restriction on inviting a friend with a big rating gap? What if someone in the higher leagues decides to invite a newbie-friend into the game? The new players only get a small amount of points after the calibration and cannot play with fighters from the higher leagues. A: This restriction is put into place to create a more equal playing field and to prevent weaker players from boosting their rating by playing together with experienced fighters. The rest of the game modes do not have this restriction and, thus, it is possible to invite a friend for a regular match.
Q: Is it possible to create a matchmaking system that allows solo players to play against solo players, and stacks vs stacks? Like, a squad of 3 and 2 players against a similarly composed one. A: We were considering this option but we think it might lead to longer waiting times. In the future, such a separation might be added into the Ranked mode.
Cheaters
Q: I am afraid that in the very first days, cheaters will advance to top leagues and divisions together with ordinary players and interefere with the game. Will there be any kind of protection against this? A: We are constantly fighting against cheaters in the game; currently, some improvements to the MRAC system are being tested. The tweaks will help combat dishonest players more effectively.
Q: How will the current system compensate for playing against a cheater? Will there be any changes or tweaks? A: The current compensation system for playing against cheaters will be paused to launch RM 3.0. We plan to rework and adapt it to the new realities, then to re-introduce it into the game. It should be pointed out that sanctions for playing with cheaters will remain and will not be softened.
Q: Will there be more limitations on the access to the Ranked Matches based on hours spent in battles? This could reduce the number of cheaters in RM since they would not be able to quickly level up in PvE and spoil the game for others. A: We plan to rework the amount of experience gained for completing Special Operations to rule out the possibility of quickly getting high ranks. The estimated time to reach a rank necessary to access RM will be no less than 10 hours.
Balance of Equipment
Q: Do you plan to balance RM 3.0 via unified equipment? Would it be possible, for example, to add a mode with old vendor guns and equipment? A: Such a separation of matchmaking queues will negatively impact the match searching times.
Q: Will the list of prohibited guns and equipment be revised for the new Ranked Matches? A: So far, we do not plan to alter the list of prohibited items and it will remain the same as in the old system. Feel free to comment below if you have any suggestions!
Maps
Q: Is it possible to implement the system of "banning" maps (or selecting only a few ones)? For example, to remove 3 maps I do not want to play from the search or, conversely, to look for only a selected few? A: Currently, there is no such possibility, but it might be added later. Follow the updates!
Q: Will there be changes to the maps and modes available in RM 3.0? Will there be more? A: The first season of the new system is a test one, so the list of maps and modes will remain the same as in the previous season. In the upcoming seasons, the list of maps and modes might be changed.
Currency
Q: Will the Rating currency be saved up after the end of the season? A: The Rating currency will not be reset and will be transferred to the next season.
Q: Is there a limit to the Rating currency after which it will not be possible to earn more? A: There is no limit to the total Rating currency, but there is a limit to how much you can earn for matches – 2500. After reaching it, you will no longer earn currency for matches, but you will still get it for entering a new league or division, and as an ultimate reward at the end of the season.
Other
Q: Will the amount of points be only determined by the K/D ratio or are there other variables taken into account? How will the Rating points be counted for Medics? A Medic can really impact the gameplay without making many kills. A: The current system does not take into account the number of kills and deaths, but points earned. Thus, different actions throughout the match are encouraged (jump and slide kills, reviving, helping allies, planting and defusing bombs).
Q: What should I do if I have only gathered 11 stripes out of 12 for the first leagues? Will the cycle of 12 RM seasons be completed? A: In the new Ranked system, the leagues are different from the ones in the old system and the old achievements for completing the season in a certain league will not work (but the players who have already obtained the stripes will still keep them). New achievements will be designed for the new system.
Q: How often will the seasons restart? A: Every 3 months, there will be a new Ranked season with new rewards.
Q: Will the AFK kick during the match search be changed? I am often kicked during loading into a match for inactivity during the match search. A: We will work on the issue while tweaking game mechanics.
If you still get questions, feel free to ask them in the comments. Stay tuned and have a nice game!

An important update has been installed on the game servers. It features improvements to the protection system of the game. Furthermore, we have launched two new contracts (another one coming soon) — complete tasks and get cool rewards!
Better Interactions with MRAC Recently, players may have encountered inappropriate behaviour in the game more frequently. Dishonest users have been using existing vulnerabilities to launch the game client without the protection of the anti-cheat system. We know how frustrating it can be to deal with cheaters in the game.
In this update, we are introducing significant fixes that will help the MRAC anti-cheat work more efficiently. Now, it will be way much difficult to launch the client with the disabled anti-cheat. The tweaks can be subject to change to reach the most optimal results in eliminating exploits.
New Content
Contracts We have launched two new contracts with the contents of the previous agents. Hurry up to complete the tasks and get neat novelties! Below, you will find detailed information about the contracts.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GLORIOUS DAY CONTRACT IS NOT YET AVAILABLE IN THE GAME. IT WILL GO LIVE LATER.

This summer, a new seasonal update will be installed on the game servers, and it will offer plenty of interesting changes and novelties! One of the key new features of the upcoming season is the revamped Ranked Matches system. Intrigued? Read on to learn more!
ABOUT THE CHANGES
Ranked Matches is a mode that allows each user to challenge the strongest players, to prove themselves and demostrate their skills. The aim of the mode is to achieve as many victories as possible to end up among the best of the best.
The current Ranked Matches system is outdated and in need of reworking. The players do not have much motivation to reach the highest leagues, the matchmaking is not always ideal – it is not uncommon for new players to compete against the experienced ones. This is most noticeable at the beginning of the season, where all players start from the same level (in the same league). Furthermore, experienced players lose interest in Ranked Matches as they reach the top league in the very first days of the season.
We are aware of all shortcomings of the Ranked Matches and want to improve the state of affairs: to make the mode entertaining for the veterans with lots of gaming experience, as well as bring in the newbies, who are not as comfortable being matched up against players of a different level.

KEY CHANGES
LEAGUES AND DIVISIONS There are now only 7 leagues instead of 21 in the Ranked Matches progression. The first 5 leagues (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond) will consist of 4 divisions each. Next come the leagues for the strongest players – Master and Grandmaster. To enter a new league, you will have to gather 400 Rating Points (RP) in your current league – 100 Points in each of the four divisions (except for the Master and the Grandmaster leagues).
The Master and Grandmaster leagues have no divisions. In the Master league, you will need to collect the required amount of RP to proceed to the top Grandmaster league. This league has no restriction on the maximum number of Rating Points. Anyone with a "balance" of over 2300 RP will be able to enter the league.
The leagues with no divisions have inactivity penalties – the player will lose 50 RP each day after a few days of not playing Ranked Matches. The penalty will be active until the player loses enough points to be rolled back to the Diamond league.
Additionally, every league has penalties for losing. That means that in case of a defeat you will lose points instead of gaining them. Below, we will tell you more about how it works.
ADVANCING THROUGH LEAGUES AND DIVISIONS Each new season for the player begins with a calibration. At the first launch of a reworked Ranked Matches season, everyone will start with the same number of points. In the following seasons, the number of points will depend on the league, in which the player ended up in the previous season.
For the calibration, the player will need to play 5 matches. Each victory will add 50 points and each loss will subtract the same amount. These points will determine the league and division in which the player will begin their Ranked Matches journey. Thus, if the player achieves the highest number of victories at the calibration stage, they will start from the Silver league, otherwise – from the Bronze one.
After going through the calibration process, it is time to conquer the top! To advance through each league (except for the Master and the Grandmaster ones), you have to gain 100 points in each division. Upon reaching the required amount for the next league, you will have to prove your skill by winning 3 out of 5 matches. If you fail, don't worry, you will remain in the current league; however, the number of RPs you gathered will be slightly reduced, so you can quickly get back to the placement matches.
Example: you are in the last division of the Silver league; you have gathered 800 RPs but did not manage to achieve 3 victories to advance to the Gold league. In this case, you will remain in the Silver league’s top division but your RPs will be slightly diminished. To redo the advancement trial, you will need to gather 800 RPs once more.
Advancing through the leagues will gradually become more difficult. The penalty for defeat in the Bronze one is very low and victories bring more points. The next leagues give you less points for victories and have stricter loss penalties.
For experienced players there are also bonus points for their place within the team – depending on your place after the match, you gain extra points. The system is loyal towards players who did well in the match regardless of their team's loss or victory. Meaning that the top player of the the winning team will receive extra points, while the one in the defeated team will lose less.
MATCHMAKING To select players for a match, the system takes into account the number of Rating Points the player has. The players matched into a room fall into a 100-point difference range. For example, if a player with 2020 RPs starts searching for a match, the players selected to match him or her would have 1920-2120 RPs. If there are not enough such players, the system starts gradually expanding the searching field.
If the player has invited friends into the match, the team building will be based on the highest number of points among the stack members. For example, if the players with 1400, 1600 and 1700 RPs start searching for a game, they will be matched against players with 1600-1800 RPs.
On top of that, there is a limitation for the teams – if the difference in Rating Points within the team is over 800, they will not be able to start searching for a game together. The team leader will receive a notification, warning that the gap in the rating is too big.
MOTIVATION AND REWARDS
Taking part in Ranked Matches is an exciting process that helps you improve your mastery, your teamwork, and your tactics. First and foremost, this mode is aimed at players who have something to show. You are in for not only cool and epic battles but also a tough journey to demonstrate that you are the best of the best. You will need to put in a lot of effort to achieve the best results. We are sure that you can do this, so show us – Who is the Grandmaster around here? Compared to the current version of the system, the way up might be more difficult, but this challenge will allow for a more balanced player distribution throughout the leagues.
CURRENCY AND SHOP For your successes in the Ranked Matches, you will receive a rating currency. It is earned both for victories and for advancing through the divisions and leagues. But bear it in mind that you can only acquire the currency when you get into a new league or a division for the first time.
For example, if the player started off in the first division of the Silver league and made their way to the fourth division in Gold one, they will receive a reward. Advancing further to the third division, they will get the rating currency, but if the player rolls back to the fourth division of the Gold league and then returns to the third one, they will not receive the reward again.
Furthermore, after the calibration matches, you will automatically receive currency for all the leagues and divisions you have skipped. For example, if you were placed in the Silver league, you will receive currency for all the previous leagues and divisions.
The rating currency is given out each season.
Receiving rating currency and points for the match
A separate store similar to the Event Shop will be designed for the Ranked mode. In the Ranked Matches Store, using the currency you have acquired, you will be able to obtain unique items that are solely available during Ranked Matches seasons. Among the items you can find:
weapon camos
skins
weapon charms
achievements and other articles.
Store
The store line-up will be regularly updated after each large-scale update.
ADDITIONAL REWARDS We are planning to add an extra reward for reaching the highest possible league of the season. For example, seasonal achievements, additional currency, or one-of-a-kind seasonal rewards. They are currently work in progress and we will tell you more about them in future publications.
WHAT WILL THE SYSTEM INTEGRATION LOOK LIKE?
We plan to integrate the new Ranked Matches system in several stages. For example, a leaderboard will appear in one of the future updates. So you will be able to see the list of the best players of the season.
We will pay close attention to your feedback, meaning that the system can be subject to change and will be continuously tweaked as we gather more information and run tests. Apart from that, we are preparing some other changes that are still work in progress.
Be sure to share your thoughts about the new feature in our social networks. This is a big and important update, so your feedback will really help us in our work.
See you in the game!

A new agent is now available in the game! Welcome a newcomer in the Riflemen ranks, Javier Ortego, aka Agent "Baudo"! Javier is a former rebel fighter and an excellent mercenary.
The Agent is part of the seasonal update "Rock Solid". You can find more information about it in the dedicated article.
DETAILS
Javier grew up in a good Colombian family: his father was a dentist, his mother owned a business. The boy lived quite well, and after his older brother Esteban died in a car accident, his parents began to treat him like he was made of glass. Despite having good savings, they went into debt anyway, just to get their son into an expensive university. What a surprise it was when during his second year in university, Javier simply disappeared! However, for Javier, this was quite a logical step: his parents were never interested in his own opinions and desires. The young man dreamed of freeing himself from his overprotective parents. In addition, he secretly befriended ordinary working-class children and generally despised the middle-class life.
Javier hasn't been seen or heard from in years. He then found himself in Bolivia, where he led a small rebel group to attack the camp of a logging corporation. Then there were many more attacks like that all over South America. Javier’s squad grew into an independent army that played an important role in overthrowing several dictatorial regimes. Seven years after his escape, Colonel Ortega returned to his native Colombia. He visited his parents in the hope that they would understand him, but the family reunion was far from ideal. It was only after long and strenuous conversations that Javier was able to get his parent's forgiveness and their blessing. Then he finally decided to fulfill his long-held dream: to cleanse his native country of drug traffickers.
The resistance proved to be much stronger than Javier had hoped, and this time his armies faced real pressure. The country plunged into civil war, Ortega lost people and support, even his parents turned against him again. After a year and a half of intense fighting, Javier’s army was defeated, but he miraculously survived. Javier left Latin America and became a mercenary. Even in his new occupation, he didn't stray from his ideals: he takes on contracts that involve overthrowing other dictators, fighting criminal cartels or corporate mayhem.

The IMBEL IA2 Assault is an assault rifle adopted by the Brazilian Army to replace the outdated FN FAL and M16A2. The novelty offers very unusual specs for a weapon of its class — it deals a very high damage, but has a quite low rate of fire.
The arm is a perfect fit for sharpshooters as it is very likely to kill enemies with just a couple of shots. In addition, the rifle is equipped with a unique grenade launcher, which will definitely help you out in a pinch.
We will tell you later about the ways of obtaining the weapon.
V3 TAC-13
The V3 TAC-13 is a new shortened semi-automatic rifle from Remington. In terms of the in-game specs, the closest competitor to the V3 TAC-13 is the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3. The novelty differs from its counterpart thanks to an increased damage and a larger magazine capacity, but has a reduced range and rate of fire.
The golden version features an even more spacious magazine.
We will tell you later about the ways of obtaining the weapon.
New contracts
We added several new contracts with this update. You can get Agent "Baudo's" content, assault rifle AK-12 and the Metal Bat. Contracts are available for a limited time — hurry up to complete the tasks! Below, you can see the information about the contracts.
Bug fixes
Weapons and gear
V3 TAC-13: fixed a bug due to which kills made with the golden version did not count for the progress of achievements.
Zone Hunting Knife: fixed a bug due to which the size of the weapon's icon differed from the standard version.
Other
Updated the contents of the "Anaconda" box: now, it contains the missing "Anaconda" camouflage for the Gerber Tomahawk.
Battle Pass: fixed a bug due to which the purchased premium access could be reset if the player did not log into the game for a long time.
"Echo of war" contract: all versions of the AKS-74U now count for the progress of all the contract tasks.
Fixed a bug due to which some previously added, but not launched contracts, did not have a timer.
Progression: fixed a bug due to which the Sniper Rifle Suppressor was missing in the list of rewards.
See you in the game!
