A new update has landed on Warface combat servers bringing the submachine gun Thompson M1928, new festive achievements and other changes. Check ’em out downloading the latest version of the game client.


The new version of the game client features Thompson M1928, a weapon of choice for Engineers that was a common sight during World War II. If you are into long missions, this arm will make the best pick!



Apart from the sleek looks, its golden sibling boasts improved stats: higher damage, effective range and rate of fire values. Don’t forget about custom achievements granted for dealing killing blows with this weapon.

• The "Syndicate" button in the "Services" tab of the game client is no longer active.
  
• The following weapons have been added to the list of allowed arms in the Ranked Matches: Thompson M1928, DP-27, Mosin Model 1891/30, Shpagin PPSh-41, Sturmgewehr 44, Winchester M1897, Nagant M1895, Luger, Sickle, Hammer.
  
• The anticheat has been updated.

Before entering, please make sure that you have updated your game client to the latest version and that your antivirus is not blocking Warface. The update will be downloaded automatically upon the game launch.

The next update will feature an Engineer primary Thompson M1928 that was a common sight during World War II! If you are up to long missions, this arm will make it a perfect pick!


The automatic submachine gun M1928 was developed by John Thompson in 1918. It's one of the few SMGs chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. The rifle was first widely employed during the Prohibition era and served throughout World War II. The Thompson SMG (known informally as the Tommy gun) was used by soldiers, law enforcement officers and FBI agents for quite a long period of time. Now the gun is a signature weapon of criminals of that time in gangster movies.



The rifle has a sophisticated design and is quite costly to manufacture, but its reliability and high quality make up for these faults. M1928 is a model of the first mass-produced M1921. It offers two fire modes, a finned barrel equipped with a muzzle brake, and lowered rate of fire. The gun was available with a vertical foregrip as well as with a common wooden rail.


The weapon boasts a superior rate of fire, a high-capacity magazine and impressive ammo, offset by moderate reload speed. Thompson M1928 is effective in close quarters combat and at medium range. Thanks to its awesome looks, the gun will make a great exhibit for any collection.



Apart from the stunning appearance, the golden version of the arm has improved stats: higher damage, effective range and rate of fire values.
