Today starts the third season of Ranked matches 2.0 featuring a lot of rewards, including one of 12 unique achievements. Don't miss your chance to obtain cool prizes!


The third season starts today and will end on December the 25th, 23:00 UTC (December 26th, 00:00 CET). Ranked matches will be conducted on all “Plant the Bomb” and “Blitz” maps.

THIS SEASON OFFERS:

• Mind-blowing weapon skin series: “Amethyst” and “Jade Dragon” for reaching the higher leagues;
  
• Random boxes with skins for reaching the higher leagues;
  
• Warface Dollars, Crowns and Boosters for advancing to each next league;
  
• Achievements for advancing to the required leagues, including the “True Cowboy” achievement for the first league;

You can always track your progress in your account overview on the site.


Starting from this season, semi-automatic sniper rifles with damage 250 or lower will be allowed on Ranked matches. These include:

• XM8 Sharpshooter
  
• M16 SPR Custom
  
• SIG 550
  
• ACR SPR
  
• H&K SL8
  
• Tavor STAR-21 Navy Blue
  
• MK 14 EBR
  
• QBU-88

Skinned, seasonal and elite crown versions of the abovementioned guns are also allowed. All other restrictions will remain intact.

Please note that there won't be Atlas of War rewards in this season. Still, we have received much positive feedback about that and we will consider adding something similar in future seasons.


In order to advance between leagues, you need to win consecutive matches. As you climb higher, you will have to display better prowess, flexibility and persistence. At the same time, you won’t drop down instantaneously if you happen to lose — you will have a change to recover by winning a series of matches. If you fail to use this opportunity and continue to lose, you’ll roll back to the previous league.

The bonus for the series of victories works slightly differently now: if you have won three times consecutively in the last matches of the previous league, then in the new league one victory will be counted automatically. You can find an example below.






All participants that win at least one ranked match will receive the “
Warface Ranking Matches League” mark.

Top contenders that finish the season in the first league will be able to proudly fly their “True Cowboy” stripe. Please note that if you skip a season, you’ll have to wait until the 12-season cycle is complete to try and earn that achievement again! The full list of all 12 achievements for reaching the first league can be found in the announcement.

The absolute champions that collect all 12 stripes will receive a unique badge, “Best of the best!”.

The ultimate reward for reaching the first league is the Amethyst weapon skins. This is a one-of-a-kind series that can only be unlocked via ranked matches during fall. Once the winter season starts, the weapon series will also change.



Please note that you will not be able to get the same skins twice if you have already received them before.

Old weapon skins remain available in the game, and you will be able to get them just as before.


Those that manage to climb up to the golden league will get different permanent weapon skins.

The next one is going to be even more larger and more epic. According to the information we received from an undercover agent, codenamed "Noda", Blackwood is using a secret base in the Pacific ocean to launch unknown objects into space.

Euro-alliance is concerned: it sends its fleet to the island for the assault, yet the energy shield around the base makes it invulnerable.

The task of Warface squad is to deploy on the island, infiltrate Blackwood base and deactivate the force field to make way for Euro-alliance forces.

“Sunrise” has a totally new vibe due to its unique gameplay features, special first-person actions and cutscenes. It is going to be fun!

• Stealth mode. At some points of the special operation you’ll need to remain hidden and employ unconventional tactics to proceed. Make use of silencers, hide in the shadows, work as a team - don’t set the alarm! Otherwise, your survival chances will drop drastically, as the number of enemy troops you’ll face will be overwhelming.
  
• Force shield. At certain moments of “Sunrise”, you’ll be able to use a special energy barrier that protects you from projectiles. You will need it to move forward on open spaces under the suppressive fire of your enemies.
  
• Poison gas. Enemy possesses chemical weapons – and it ain’t afraid to use them. The air is poision!
  
• Cutscenes. Another feature that makes “Sunrise” different from other special operations is the existence of cutscenes and special first-person actions that will make the game feel more immersive.

Warface troops will face incredibly dangerous enemies that can only be taken down by a well-coordinated team.

• SED-2. These cybernetic Blackwood soldiers have been updated and are now even more lethal.
  
• Firestarter. A special heavily-armored version of SED-2 equipped with a flamethrower. This enemy can ignite area around itself to cut off your escape. Proceed with care!

The most dedicated of you will be able to get 20 new achievements, including a secret one. You will need not only high personal skills but also excellent teamwork to claim such supremacy.






You can get weapons and camo from the “Yakuza” series for completing special operation “Sunrise”. The series includes one weapon for each class, a secondary weapon and a melee weapon, as well as the corresponding skins.
