Till the 20th of August the game features a brutal shotgun Origin-12 from the American manufacturer Fostech. Inspired by a Russian gun “Saiga-12” it differs in ergonomic effectiveness and modular construction. Origin’s creators claim that their gun has the highest RPM among all the shotguns in the world and is limited only by the speed of the person pulling the trigger.




Exceeding its prototype in terms of combat adaptability, Origin-12 is a modern multi-purpose weapon. Originally created for the American market of civil and police weapons – it can be used for sportsmanship, guard duties and law enforcement. This shotgun can also be relied on during the hunts.



Origin’s barrel extension is overall similar to that of Saiga-12 – apart from the addition of a large window for the release of shell casings, protected with a flap cover. The breech-mechanism arming handle is situated on the fore grip and thus stays stable when shooting. The safety lock levers are placed on both sides of the gun. The switches of the magazine case retainer and breech cut-off are located in the front part of the release bracket.


Speaking of Origin’s in-game stats – this shotgun boasts amazing RPM, steady damage and above the average accuracy even at large distances. On top of that it offers a large clip size holding twenty bullets and high reload speed. The golden version of Origin-12 will not only make you stand out on the battlefield but will provide even more impressive RPM and effective distance. Compatible attachments include a scope and a flash suppressor.

The combination of these characteristics does not only make Origin-12 an ideal candidate for PVE modes but also allows for top performance in PVP.

The next game update will feature sand-colored “Desert Snake” weapon skins. In the future we will tell you about how you can obtain this exotic camo series.

“Desert Snake” line-up includes camos for assault rifles Beretta ARX160 and IMBEL IA2, machine gun PKP Pecheneg, shotguns MAG-7, Fabarm P.S.S.10 and Fabarm S.A.T. 8 Pro, SMGs CZ Scorpion EVO, Desert Tech MDR‐C, PP-19 Bizon and Tavor CTAR‐21, sniper rifles AX308, Calico M951S and M40A5, pistol CZ 75-Auto, Mateba Autorevolver and Jagdkommando knife.





Please remember that camouflage items only change the appearance of weapons without affecting their stats. To use the camo you need to have a regular version of the matching weapon in your arsenal.

Dear friends!

Many players love Ranked Games and enthusiastically take part in the competition. In the nearest update we are planning to improve this mode. The main concept lies in keeping the mode foundations intact, while adding more tactical variety, making it more entertaining and taking it closer to the format of official Warface Open Cup tournaments.

In the future the participants of Ranked Games can expect new rewards: unique achievements and camos. We would like the first league entry to be an even more important occasion and the players reaching it - to stand our proud with commemorative stripes and prizes! New rewards will not be added to the game immediately - they will be thoroughly tested first.

The coming update will introduce the changes in a range of mechanics utilized in Ranked Games. The competition rules will be slightly amended and the UI will be improved. In the future we plan to increase the rewards for reaching leagues in Ranked Games.


The underlying principle remains the same: you need to press onward to the first league and if you suffer defeat in a series of matches – you will be pushed one league back.

Fighting your way in each league, you need to grasp several victories instead of one. The higher the league, the more determination you will need to showcase. At the same time, if you have been struck down, you will not lose your progress immediately: you will have a chance to retaliate by winning a series of matches. If you don’t make good use of this opportunity and continue scoring low, you will find yourself in the previous league.



Bonus activated for the victory streak will be working in a slightly different way than before: if you have achieved three consecutive victories in the last matches of the previous league, then in the new league one victory will be automatically granted to you. You can see an example below.




The list of rewards for reaching the new leagues has been amended. New achievements for the successes in Ranked Games will appear. Conquering the first league will be awarded with special boxes with new camos as well as plenty of rare stripes. Each season the rewards for reaching the first league will be changed – and this way, they will be truly unique!



The other achievements for taking part in ranked games will also be saved.

We will tell you when the awards appear in-game through our future articles.

Please note that the appearance, description and conditions for receiving these rewards can be changed.


To equalize the chances of the players and to make the battles more coordinated and tactical, it has been decided to impose restrictions on certain weapons and equipment. When creating the list we used the guidelines described ibn the regulations of Warface Open Cup tournaments. The restrictions will help players to organize regular training sessions in Ranked Games and get used quicker to the eSports dimension of the game. It is quite possible that for many the renewed Ranked Games will be the first step towards pro eSports.

It is prohibited to use the following items:

• Any automatic or semi-automatic sniper rifles
  
• Seasonal items with characteristics that are different from the original ones
  
• Festive weapons
  
• Anti-personnel and seasonal mines
  
• Frag grenades except for standard ones
  
• Any equipment protecting from the first shot
  
• Gear that replenishes HP and AP
  
• “Absolute” gloves and vest

Items allowed at Ranked Games will be marked with a special symbol .

If you equip prohibited items, you won’t be able to start the match in Ranked Games.

Dear soldiers!

Following the rebalance of shotguns and SMGs we will rework 11 sniper rifles in the next update: Walther WA 2000, Alpine, AMP DSR-1, Tavor STAR-21 Navy Blue, SVD, M16 SPR Custom, SIG 550, ACR SPR, H&K SL8, XM8 Sharpshooter and AWM. We will mainly rebalance their minimal and maximal damage.

The changes will affect all versions of the gun. Please refer to the table below.

We know that marketplace is one of the hottest community topics nowadays, so we decided to implement a different approach this time and, if we can’t give you this feature, at least provide you with a detailed description of how it goes with it and address the most important questions arising in the community.

First thing we wanted to say is, we are aiming to open the marketplace for my.com players after August, 23rd.

Secondly, we have thoroughly studied your feedback and we are ready to comment on the most commonly aroused questions regarding the marketplace.


A: The point is, we didn’t “choose the side”. We were choosing between helping a vast part of our players and helping no one. We opted for the first. Currently, we are working on a solution that will suit all players in Warface.


A: We equally respect all our players. The problem lies not in Steam itself, but in the fraud that is possible there. We are grateful to those who support our game with money, so that we could support the servers, enhance our development and promote Warface all over the world. Whenever fraud occurs, it significantly impedes the development process, that is why we cannot risk the fraud.


A: We do not have any issues between us and Steam, it’s rather that we don’t have enough experience in fighting the fraud in Steam. And that is why we are grateful to every single piece of advice you give us on that, as well as to those who inform players about the situation (ty, seanwlk!)


A: We are currently doing everything we can to eliminate this inconsistency, as we want each an every our player to enjoy our game on the same level and have access to all the privileges. Unfortunately, convertions back from Steam account into my.com account contradict the policy of Steam games: we are just not allowed to do that.


A: The overall damage is different. If someone just buys a load of Kredits from a stolen account and even buys some guns for that, we can just block the account and roll everything back. However, with the access to marketplace violators can distribute these weapons to many other accounts, which makes them way more difficult to trace. Besides, innocent players can suffer while using Kredits or items obtained from the violator without even knowing they obtain it from a violator.

So, these were the main issues we found in various marketplace topics. If you have any ideas on how we can fight fraud in Steam and make marketplace available again, you are welcome to leave them here. Next week we are planning to give you feedback on your suggestions about it.

Atten-hut!

The next game update will be bringing a new sidearm: CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot. Designed by a renowned small firearms manufacturer Ceska Zbrojovka, this pistol is a modified variant belonging to the CZ 75 line-up. As one can figure by the name, this gun stands out owing to its fancy look resembling parrot feather pattern.


Ceska Zbrojovka, a Czech manufacturer has earned its reputation in the small arms industry ever since the 20th century. Two of its other engineering marvels are already present in the game: CZ 75 Auto and CZ Scorpion Evo3 A1.

CZ 75 TS Czechmate is a 9mm modified CZ 75, featuring a unique internal configuration. These newer pistols can be outfitted with barrel attachments, either a 4-piece compensator (which helps reduce recoil and increase rate of fire), or a ‘cap’ with an interchangeable sight. Accuracy is enhanced thanks to the C-More scope fixed atop the Picatinny rail.

Among its key strengths are the hand-polished barrel and shutter parts that are also hand-fitted to the frame. This helps minimize the risks of having loose parts, boosting the already accurate gun.



Seeing as the basic Czechmate had a success, the company went onward to produce the newer variant — Parrot — for recreational shooting, and thus the gun fits most International Practical Shooting Confederation’s regulations as well. Its trigger and magazine are colored bright red, ejection port guard is green, palm grip — anodized yellow, and slide control — purple. To add, the rail for its C-More secope has a blueish finish. “Parrot” has also been outfitted with a new configuration for its striking hammer and trigger.

Recreational and professional shooters have been drawn to this sidearm and Parrot’s become a much-desired collector’s prize, given that no more than 10 pistols are produced yearly.


CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot will help you outsmart your opponent five moves ahead in a pistol duel. The “Parrot” is highly efficient at close to medium ranges, and is bound to earn the hearts of those fond of PvP. Its high headshot damage is enough to take down even opponents wearing helmets, and the 1.2x C-More scope and its reticles are quite manageable in close quarters as well.

This gun can be found in Random Kredit Boxes in two variants: regular and golden. Golden CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot has higher damage, rate of fire and magazine capacity values.






This isn’t all yet! First things first, we wanted to create something truly outstanding, and thus for the first time ever, we’re rolling out the platinum skin for the golden version of the gun. The stats won’t differ from the golden one (as it's a skin), but if you’ve got your hands on this you can be sure you’re in possession of an absolute rare prize.

And yes - if you happen to roll out the skin, it always comes along with the golden version of the gun.




Apart from that, we’re going to try something new: CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot and its golden variant will be available in Crown Boxes as well!
