Dear soldiers!

Following the rebalance of shotguns and SMGs we will rework 11 sniper rifles in the next update: Walther WA 2000, Alpine, AMP DSR-1, Tavor STAR-21 Navy Blue, SVD, M16 SPR Custom, SIG 550, ACR SPR, H&K SL8, XM8 Sharpshooter and AWM. We will mainly rebalance their minimal and maximal damage.

The changes will affect all versions of the gun. Please refer to the table below.

Dear players!

We know that marketplace is one of the hottest community topics nowadays, so we decided to implement a different approach this time and, if we can’t give you this feature, at least provide you with a detailed description of how it goes with it and address the most important questions arising in the community.

First thing we wanted to say is, we are aiming to open the marketplace for my.com players after August, 23rd.

Secondly, we have thoroughly studied your feedback and we are ready to comment on the most commonly aroused questions regarding the marketplace.


A: The point is, we didn’t “choose the side”. We were choosing between helping a vast part of our players and helping no one. We opted for the first. Currently, we are working on a solution that will suit all players in Warface.


A: We equally respect all our players. The problem lies not in Steam itself, but in the fraud that is possible there. We are grateful to those who support our game with money, so that we could support the servers, enhance our development and promote Warface all over the world. Whenever fraud occurs, it significantly impedes the development process, that is why we cannot risk the fraud.


A: We do not have any issues between us and Steam, it’s rather that we don’t have enough experience in fighting the fraud in Steam. And that is why we are grateful to every single piece of advice you give us on that, as well as to those who inform players about the situation (ty, seanwlk!)


A: We are currently doing everything we can to eliminate this inconsistency, as we want each an every our player to enjoy our game on the same level and have access to all the privileges. Unfortunately, convertions back from Steam account into my.com account contradict the policy of Steam games: we are just not allowed to do that.


A: The overall damage is different. If someone just buys a load of Kredits from a stolen account and even buys some guns for that, we can just block the account and roll everything back. However, with the access to marketplace violators can distribute these weapons to many other accounts, which makes them way more difficult to trace. Besides, innocent players can suffer while using Kredits or items obtained from the violator without even knowing they obtain it from a violator.

So, these were the main issues we found in various marketplace topics. If you have any ideas on how we can fight fraud in Steam and make marketplace available again, you are welcome to leave them here. Next week we are planning to give you feedback on your suggestions about it.

Atten-hut!

The next game update will be bringing a new sidearm: CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot. Designed by a renowned small firearms manufacturer Ceska Zbrojovka, this pistol is a modified variant belonging to the CZ 75 line-up. As one can figure by the name, this gun stands out owing to its fancy look resembling parrot feather pattern.


Ceska Zbrojovka, a Czech manufacturer has earned its reputation in the small arms industry ever since the 20th century. Two of its other engineering marvels are already present in the game: CZ 75 Auto and CZ Scorpion Evo3 A1.

CZ 75 TS Czechmate is a 9mm modified CZ 75, featuring a unique internal configuration. These newer pistols can be outfitted with barrel attachments, either a 4-piece compensator (which helps reduce recoil and increase rate of fire), or a ‘cap’ with an interchangeable sight. Accuracy is enhanced thanks to the C-More scope fixed atop the Picatinny rail.

Among its key strengths are the hand-polished barrel and shutter parts that are also hand-fitted to the frame. This helps minimize the risks of having loose parts, boosting the already accurate gun.



Seeing as the basic Czechmate had a success, the company went onward to produce the newer variant — Parrot — for recreational shooting, and thus the gun fits most International Practical Shooting Confederation’s regulations as well. Its trigger and magazine are colored bright red, ejection port guard is green, palm grip — anodized yellow, and slide control — purple. To add, the rail for its C-More secope has a blueish finish. “Parrot” has also been outfitted with a new configuration for its striking hammer and trigger.

Recreational and professional shooters have been drawn to this sidearm and Parrot’s become a much-desired collector’s prize, given that no more than 10 pistols are produced yearly.


CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot will help you outsmart your opponent five moves ahead in a pistol duel. The “Parrot” is highly efficient at close to medium ranges, and is bound to earn the hearts of those fond of PvP. Its high headshot damage is enough to take down even opponents wearing helmets, and the 1.2x C-More scope and its reticles are quite manageable in close quarters as well.

This gun can be found in Random Kredit Boxes in two variants: regular and golden. Golden CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot has higher damage, rate of fire and magazine capacity values.






This isn’t all yet! First things first, we wanted to create something truly outstanding, and thus for the first time ever, we’re rolling out the platinum skin for the golden version of the gun. The stats won’t differ from the golden one (as it's a skin), but if you’ve got your hands on this you can be sure you’re in possession of an absolute rare prize.

And yes - if you happen to roll out the skin, it always comes along with the golden version of the gun.




Apart from that, we’re going to try something new: CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot and its golden variant will be available in Crown Boxes as well!


Landing killing blows with this gun will earn you memorable achievements with custom marks, badges and stripes.

The next update will feature a long-awaited voice chat feature in Warface! It will make the communication between players during the ranked matches even more convenient.


Please note that the voice chat will be available for Ranked matches and Special Operations only. Surely in PvP only your teammates will hear you: your enemies will not intercept your messages.

By default, the voice chat will be switched off. In order to use the new feature, switch it on in the ‘Sound” tab. You can do that both before and during the match.


You can also adjust the volume and mic sensitivity, as well as choose the type of activation. By default, you won’t need to press anything: all the sounds will be transferred into the game according to the mic sensitivity.

However, you can turn on Push-to-Talk option. In this case, voice chat will be activated after pressing the button (default is T, but it can be changed in the “Controls” tab).

If you press the TEST button in Sound options, you’ll be able to check the sensitivity and volume you set, as well as hear how your voice will sound for other players.

New and epic Battle Royale, maps, guns and achievements

This update will address maps, weapons and various optimizations aimed at the competitive level, alongside the much-anticipated reworked Battle Royale game mode.


The new map, named Exclusion Zone will be available in this update. It captures the niche atmosphere of grim to the bone, apocalyptic Pripyat. The new map is designed to enhance and diversify the gameplay featured in the current active BR map, “Mojave”. You’ll be able to explore numerous new objects and hideouts as well as experience brand new weapons yet unseen in other game modes.

The new Micro RONI CAA personal defense weapon is the perfect pick for any game mode thanks to its considerably high damage, soft recoil and a 40-round mag capacity. Its stability yields some impressive results when fired ‘from the hip’. The golden variant will feature the highest ‘hip-fire’ accuracy values in the game as well as an extended magazine.

The PDW comes with several attachment slots and three unique upgrades:

• Micro RONI CAA Laser Grip -- provides a considerable boost to ‘hip-fire’ accuracy, slightly reduces recoil and crosshair sway
  
• Micro RONI CAA Custom Grip -- provides a slight boost to ‘hip-fire’ accuracy, reduces recoil and crosshair sway
  
• Hartman MH1 -- 1.4x Fast-Zoom scope.
  
  Micro RONI CAA can be found in Random Kredit Boxes, and landing killing blows with it will award
  custom achievements that can be pinned on your profile!

QSZ-92

Random Warface Boxes for QSZ-92 have been added to the game. You can purchase them for 600/580/560/540/520 WF$.



“Tigerstripe” series weapon skins








The game will soon feature a new version of the map you have known for a long time, that is – the “Factory” map for “Plant the Bomb” mode. The visuals and the lighting will be significantly improved, but key objects will remain at the same places. So, if you know the map, you’ll quickly get used to its new version.




We have reworked the following maps: Bridges 2.0, D17, Destination, District, Palace and Residence.

These maps have received small amendments and fixes that should help reduce:

• Positioning issues causing players to get stuck
  
• Abuse of vulnerable ‘areas’ and ‘positions’ on the map
  
• “Teleports” or blinks
  
• Animation problems with sliding in case of collision with other objects
  
• Lucky “wall”-shooting.

Please note that these are only initial changes of this sort and we're going to continue improving and optimizing game maps.


Character positioning and synchronization have been improved to make gameplay more stable and thus fluid. We've eliminated issues with sudden deaths and blinks across the map.

Please note that these fixes aren't final and we keep working on further solutions.

• Loading screen has been updated to fit the “Exclusion Zone" map theme
  
• PvP: “Bag and Tag", increased tag rewards from 50 to 100 points. This change is aimed at making this game mode stand out for its tactical gameplay.
  
• WF$ Random Boxes now have a chance to contain temporary weapons. This does not affect permanent weapon drop rates.
  
• Scopes: EOTECH 553 and Trijicon RMR Adjustable LED crosshair has been reduced in size.
  
• New achievement added: “German Unity”, awarded for 1990 eliminations with MG3, Alpine, WA2000, Glock 18C or any other XM8 / H&K models.

• PvP. Plant the Bomb: D17, missing map interface added.
  
• Golden Butterfly Knife: fixed the counter for the “Butterfly Effect" achievement.
  
• Fixed the error causing other interface windows to be force-closed, causing further in-game issues.
  
• Localization: achievement tooltips have been amended.

• “Watch Out!": kill counter isn't functioning correctly at this time.
  
• Localization: some map tooltips still contain the 2.0 designation.
  
• “Brain Scorcher”: tooltip is incorrect.
  
• “Greenhorn Stalker" and “King of the Dead City" achievements are mixed up.

Time to take a look at the next marvel of engineering to enter the armory. Micro RONI is essentially a stabilizer that takes and converts a basic 9mm sidearm into a fully-fledged PDW. The end result is impressive enough, as its striking futuristic design and practicality make this gun a must-have for that top-of-the-line slot in your armory.


CAA Tactical is an Israeli manufacturer specializing in tactical accessories, upgrades and tools aimed at the armed forces, law enforcement and general consumers alike.

The latest Micro RONI model introduced at SHOT Show 2018 features an aluminum and polymer build and unlike similar conversion kits, it does not require sidearm disassembly. Installation takes no more than 5 seconds in a perfect case scenario and enhances the firearm significantly with a Picatinny rail, custom grip, folding adjustable stock and ambidextrous switches for universal control.



Once the sidearm is upgraded into a carbine with the RONI stabilizer, it benefits from greater stability and range owing to the longer barrel. Similar conversion kits may in time prove a reliable replacement to ARs carried by law enforcement, providing superior firepower prior to the arrival of specialized units.
