Crysis Female Nanosuit Pack

A body suit set consisting of four female nano-suits adapted for each in-game class: Rifleman, Medic, Engineer and Sniper.

These female nano-suits straight from Crysis strike fear in any opponent. Their unique appearance is achieved by a combination of factors – stylish jet black armor tightly covering the body while not restricting movement, let alone the sheer overwhelming visual effect owing to a range of miniscule details all brought to perfection. The ideal new outfit for the true Warface amazons!

Please note, these skins are cosmetic and do not affect your character stats and data.

Crysis Male Nanosuit Pack

Just like the female nano-suits, this set features unique skins for every in-game class: Rifleman, Medic, Engineer and Sniper.

Similar equipment was in use by the Crysis protagonists: Nomad, Prophet and Psycho in their fight against alien invaders. Now this unique gear is available for Warface soldiers. As if straight from the future it projects sheer power with its perfect fit – underlining every feature and muscle while retaining its military-neat look.

These skins are also cosmetic and do not affect your character stats and data.

Dear players!

April the 12th marks the beginning of the new Ranked season in Warface. Ranked tables have been reset, and you are now able to compete against other players. Will you make it to the top of the ladder and get massive rewards? It’s up to you now!

The 9th Season participants will receive their rewards within a short period of time, ranging from Crown Points to weapon skins and achievements. Perhaps, you will be the one enjoying them at the end of the next, 10th season?

Warface veterans and new players alike -- but especially the former – this one is for you. The chart below displays the instant rewards paid out right when you achieve a specific rank. Every new season, you are eligible to receive them (or receive them again if you haven’t so far) – get ready to give your best and check out the right gear for it as well. ARX160 has proven to be highly reliable in combat so far, favoured by Warface riflemen.

For those unfamiliar Ranked Matches are available starting at the Rank of 13. Winning moves you up the ladder whereas losing a match takes you a position down. Progressing up the ladder becomes more difficult with increased rank – from two victories at first, to four and so on. However, winning streaks move you up the ranks faster than usual as well.

Dear players!

It’s Friday 7th and we’re back with the answers from the recently announced Developer FAQ. Before we delve further into the questions, let us summarize a little. Also, please note, the other versions of this FAQ (in French, German and Polish) will be released with a small delay. We apologize for that, but we wouldn't want to not meet our own set deadline -- after all, we made a promise!

First, we have gathered some questions to highlight the matters currently paid attention to or requiring attention the most. That doesn’t in any way suggest other issues are unimportant or deserve no attention; however given the state of the game we feel it is imperative to focus on these aspects instead. If your question did not fit in – don’t worry, it sure got our attention and is either in planning or development, or taken into consideration by the developers when planning new content and future updates at the very least.

One of the most revolving questions was about the Warface Boxes and rotations. Found in the Game Shop under the “Random Boxes” section, it provides you with a chance to secure a weapon of a superior grade. These boxes haven’t been changed as of recent yet we will introduce a more frequent rotation system, featuring more contemporary weapons, for example “AP-84”.

One other subject that calls for some attention is the reintroduction of the old weapons and gear to the game. Every item piece present in the game corresponds to the balance and other requirements; if a weapon goes, it is to keep you focused on the new content more adjusted to the current state of the game. Older content would be misleading albeit liked by some particular players – for example, those who like a particular gun manufacturer will want to stick with a model of their making. There are constant plans and we consider the possibilities of adding new weapons or returning some of the old under revision, yet there are no precise dates on what weapon is making a return and when.

Not any less important – the future of Ranked Matches. There have been concerns raised about the minimum rank required to join, and some of you think that increasing it will reduce the amount of cheaters in-game. However, that would mean introducing unfair and pointless obstacles for the regular players whereas we rather fight the problem itself rather than mingle with its variable outcomes. Moreover it would mean giving in to the cheaters’ actions and giving up on our players – and we won’t be doing the latter for a fact.

As for PvP and competitive scene in general, there will be more events (maybe even a tournament!), we’ll keep you posted!

And as a pointer to qualm any fears, the subject of equipment repair changes has gathered quite some attention around it and in addition to the ”Game Economy and Shop Changes” explanatory article we have planned a separate article instead. Albeit we were planning to release it tomorrow, we will group it to address your immediate concerns.

Now, on to the questions!

My most important question is : would you guys add more coop maps, not talking about Special operations , no no no , talking about coop maps .

As of current in terms of PvE content we rather focus on Special Operations than simple Co-OP missions. Special Operations are an upgraded version of Co-Ops and albeit a little more challenging, they mainly have three difficulty levels making them accessible and challenging at the same time. They also allow us to present the storyline, the lore of the game (the Warface versus Blackwood opposition). In other words, PvE Co-OP’s are brief and not as competitive; they were intended more as introductory content. We will consider it in future again yet at this time Special Operations are our main direction in terms of PvE content.

When will the new Body Skins like Aurora, Widow Maker, Ghost Squad skins, etc. come back on Warface West?
If there is a server for everyone to go to like the Brazilian, EU, Asia, Thailand, Vietnam, will you reduce the ping on Warface NA due to red ping laggers?
wmoney that much?
You should totally check out the Game Economy and Shop changes, these skins have been announced there. And yes, they are in fact coming within a real short period of time, too. So stay tuned!

As for the servers, we are constantly surveying the grounds and possibilities for expanding further to other regions. At this time we have Brazil and Asia in our sights, if expansion were to be made.

Will it be possible for steam users to unbind their accounts from steam so they can stick only to my.com?

Our partnership with Steam supposes we cooperate in a variety of ways, this one included. It is currently impossible yet you can simply log in with your My.com account instead of the Steam account.

1- In the future, can we sell the items we have in the inventory?

2- Will golden guns have a repair cost?

3- Are vendor weapons going to be with kredits (the best ones) and only for rent, like on some other servers?

As stated in the previous FAQ, the Auction House won’t be making a return as is, however we are planning to introduce a trading platform that would function in a different yet similar fashion. You should expect news and introduction of the system in late May.

Golden weapons are not exempt from the maintenance system (repairs) as of current and there are no plans to remove it as of yet.

Arsenal weapons are unlocked solely with game progress and Arsenal Points.

1 - Are you guys going to keep the matchmaking system active in the background so that it will push players into already started games ? (Everyday i waste coins and time because people leave)
2 - Are you guys going to develop an algorithm that would profile a player about the time he plays , level , money he spends , so that you can dynamically adjust the odds of the rewards ? (i've been playing more then 1 year , spent money and i only have 1 goled weapon)
3 - Do you guys plan to put items on sale we can buy with K with no gambling? (i want to buy K but only if i'm sure i get something back)
4 - Do you guys plan to develop an algorithm that would adjust the skills levels (recoil, accuracy , dodge , aim , damage) in relation with the player level ?

Decent questions and points raised, Cuccio!

We are considering a combination of both heightened penalties for abandoning a ranked game and perhaps even a hot-join feature – in other words, enabling a player to join games in progress. However, that would come with its own problems as the concept of a Ranked Match is playing a fixed amount of rounds from start to finish, and this particular setting is not just relevant, but imperative to the environment. Bottom line, having equal amount of members in each team is not any less imperative; there’s no ultimate decision as of now, but a variety of available ones instead we will pick from.

To address both your second and fourth paragraphs; while the ideas of individualizing rewards and game performance (requirements per difficulty settings) per player only sounds neat but has quite foreseeable issues – most of them revolving around fairness. Ultimately, we want to provide While it may sound somewhat neat, just entertaining the idea further will make you easily see the potential flaws popping up right away, on the surface. Our idea is to provide everyone with an equal environment, as our players compete against one another as well – you can see why individual benefits would not work.

Fixed price Kredit weapons may be introduced in future yet there are no immediate plans for such releases.

Will we get our own PTS server?

Will we get 'admins' in game to ban cheaters or scam sites?

PT servers may appear one day here as well, yet it requires an active community of volunteers and moderators first and foremost. Those who wish to contribute to the game are free to report the bugs they find on live servers – we will soon be revamping the forums and introducing specific forum sections for that.

We employ MRAC software and security measures, as well as the in-game reports system with our specialists’ direct involvement to rid the community of cheaters.

I would like to ask only one question, since it is causing MAJORITY of problems in Warface at the moment - I mean 3rd person spectate camera of course.
So, with that said, question follows:
1. Is there any chance you can transform this useless 3rd person camera into 1st person in quick time succession?
I have seen this question answered in last Publisher's Answers, but I want you to realize that it is the biggest problem at the moment.
One of many examples - it would be FAAAAAAAAAAR lot easier to catch cheaters and hackers by spectating their 1st person view, now it is often hard to tell by watching their 3rd person...
I humbly ask all players to upvote and quote my post further. If you truly want Warface to become a better game with less cheaters, then it should be logical to you to shout around about this matter.

I forgot there is also one more question that bothers me:
2. Have you considered blocking some weapons/attachments (i.e. Fast Scope, Crazy Horse, Garota) in ranked games to establish better balance? If not, have you considered nerfing any of those?

We understand your concern. We’ve covered this before – we will consider introducing it in future yet at this time there are other more vital concerns and updates to funnel our resources into.

The concept of balance is fairly speaking, tricky, as explained in the article to follow this very FAQ. It isn’t achieved by nerfing a single feature or weapon, it’s a combination of various adjustments that follow thorough analysis and are followed by not a fraction less thorough further monitoring. To put it simple we are working towards achieving healthy balance – reasonable challenges free of pointless obstacles.

1. North American server seems to have more NON-NA players playing than actual players that live in NA region. How do you guys plan on attracting more North American people to play NA warface? Do you guys plan on having more region locks in the future so you can focus on NA alone? Lower ping limit? etc
2. NA servers are on East coast while west coats players are stuck with horrible ping. Do you guys have any plans on changing NA servers to more central? (For example Chicago? Texas?) Fun fact: some EU players get better ping to NA than west coast players while servers are targeted for NA region
NA servers are on East coast while west coats players are stuck with horrible ping. Do you guys have any plans on changing NA servers to more central? (For example Chicago? Texas?) Fun fact: some EU players get better ping to NA than west coast players while servers are targeted for NA region
3. Any plans on lowering EXP/Vendor points to level up/unlock faster? Warface seems to require too much time and effort to unlock the best gear in-game that can compete with veteran players. It literally takes 1-2 months to unlock everything with mega vip and farming each day. However, if you look at other TOP shooter games you can simple pay $10/$25 to buy the whole game and compete against the best on similar grounds. FOr Warface: Mega Vip in warface costs $15 per month? + unlocking weapon vendors/ outfits then attachments + add in kredit boxes (Since vendor weapons cant compete with box weapons)

As of now the North American server is open for both South and North American players. As answered earlier in this FAQ we are considering other expansion to other regions, yet it is still not officially planned. As a matter of fact, in comparison Warface content takes way less to unlock than that of some other games. That being said, players are not impeded by the content restrictions and it is intended for a player to progress through the game gradually – the deeper, the farther you go, the more rewarded you are; a common system. There is a wide variety of weapons and gear in the game and Arsenal is the main progression course; others are provided as alternatives.

Will smokes be fixed in a way that they look the same on each graphic settings and will they be calculated by the server, not each client?
(not 100% sure about the client sided calculation of the smoke, but at least it feels like it. Standing in full smoke on my screen get 1 tapped because I was not in smoke on his screen. Happens way too often.)

Already fixed. (:

Check out the most recent Patchnotes announced on the 6th of April.

My questions
-Why silenced weapon in bag and tag mode is useless on radar? do u guy hate silenced weapon? or just do it for equal with non-silenced weapon?
-Does the Repair Cost of Warlord Armor is higher than unlocked or inshop`s armor?

The “Bag and Tag” game mode does not disable silencers / suppressors and other barrel modifications (such as flash-reducing barrel extensions). There are however mechanisms that “highlight” a player, for example the helicopter in Mojave or the radar in Icebound; it’s simply part of the game mode design to destabilize those in superb cover and add more challenge to the game.

And as promised, we will merge the article scheduled for tomorrow in this FAQ – there’s no reason to wait. It is highly advised to read the “Game Economy and Shop Changes” article, as this one is its follow-up and touches upon more than one feature described at greater length there.

To begin with, game balance as a concept is endlessly complicated – and that is putting it lightly. Major revamps are rarely favoured in this line of work yet are sometimes necessary. With the insight provided in the recent articles you should now have a clearer image of the model we are working towards.

So how does it work?

Game balance is unique in its own fashion – it doesn’t have a `finished` / `complete` or `rest` state. There are different pressure levels depending on how balanced the game is but developers never stop working on improving the balance. These changes are most preferred as gradual – taking away a little here, adding in a little there, you strive to affect a wider audience so that your changes apply to all.

Which is why the repair costs are in a way, universal. As for the upcoming weapon system revamp they affect everyone with no exceptions. To summarize, the repair costs will stay for permanent gear: armor (vests, helmets, boots and gloves) and permanent weapons (/Arsenal/ weapons), whereas temporary gear – now leased – will be exempt from the maintenance and repair system.

The repair bills will be higher than those some of you have gotten used to, yet this change is vital to ensure there is no currency inflation. The choice is to either go along with it and watch the game suffocate in numbers or to make a crucial change before it’s too late.

The lease system is in fact far more lenient in terms of costs. Say you spend 2 hours with AR-“GAR”, one of the versatile all-round assault rifles. Take a look at the chart below.

As you can see the new system enables you to try out a weapon statistically for just the time you need – about two hours to fully test or enjoy a weapon, and on top of that you save 1 310 $WF; or go for a 7-day or 30-day rent options. Mind you that overall you will be easily able to afford a few favorite personal weapons (+ Arsenal weapons) and have enough to rent other guns as you progress through the game.

We will not be touching as much upon the subject of gear progression this time yet we are certain you understand the importance of having gear split into categories per content level: low-, mid- and high-level, and its appropriate accessibility. If players are able to skip forth too easily, they eventually end up sweeping through content too quickly and getting bored with the game, not being able to compete with other players because of a variety of essential factors missing. We wish to provide you with an environment opposite of that described above.

The changes announced will not demand excessive planning from you yet you will often be faced with the question as to whether you can really afford a new weapon. Such minor obstacles are the essentials of a healthy economy.

Warface: Clutch - Warface

Soldiers!

To start with, a round-up of the already announced upcoming changes you may have seen as sneak-peeks so far and among them: new rank, weapons and other balance changes.

New Rank

A new rank will be introduced, featuring the Spartan warrior theme this time around. You can read more about it here.

Weapons

New additions

The legendary special forces bolt-action sniper rifle, WT308. This rifle was designed specifically to deliver top-notch accuracy and reliability in any given environment, and is thus most fitting to Warface snipes. From the frozen woodland paths in “Icebreaker” to the boiling heat of “Earth Shaker”, you can be sure you’ll land that shot. In-game, the rifle comes with two reload animations. Check them out!

Devastating power is a perk shared by all shotguns alike, not all of them bring the second shot to finish the job! CV-12 is an innovative addition to the medics’ arsenal. Rounds are fired one after another with a single trigger pull: enough to either make your enemy duck in cover or… well, worse! Experts say the gun takes some getting used to for those loyal supporters of pump-action shotguns, so give it a dozen rounds in the shooting range before taking it to the battlefield!

Balance changes

Every rifleman’s favourite choice has gotten even better; the FY-103. Zooming in speed has been increased and the recoil adjusted. This update not only adds the much needed changes to the weapon, making it even more competitive and simultaneously fun to handle; the key changes in the root – the way the gun / gun recoil operates will deliver a blow to those using automated recoil suppression programs & macros.

ARX160 will be seeing a minor adjustment to the minimal damage from 58 down to 57. The multiplier to headshots is however increased from 4.2 to 4.3. Main weapon damage remains unchanged.

Appearance and other improvements

The following weapons underwent changes improving minor details (these may range from the way your shutter looks in-game to reload animations):

Rifleman:
  • GU2, GU2 Korea Anniversary, AC7, M95AR, M95AR Winter Camo.
Medic:
  • US-12, US-12 Korea Anniversary, MC 255 12, MC 255 12 Winter Camo, Boas Semi-Auto Shotgun, PHS-15, SHG M1217.
Engineer:
  • ZX84 UMP, ZX84 UMP Elite Crown, GU1, GU7, MP .38, Metasoma 83, MT-19, M99AS, GU7 Korea Anniversary
Sniper:
  • TWM Korea Anniversary
Secondary weapons:
  • GU5

PvP balance changes

One of the most influential updates this month so far, PvP players will appreciate and make use of the new “Overtime” feature, now implemented in two classic PvP game modes: “Plant the Bomb” and “Capture”.

As one may guess from the name, the key function is to add extra time, enough to determine the winner in case an even score is reached at the end of the map. Let’s break it down – when a tie is reached (5:5), the game shall resume until one side gains an advantage of two victories. In other words, the acceptable scores for TeamA to win would be: 7-to-5, 8-to-6, 9-to-7, 10-to-8 and so on.
  • Maximum amount of rounds is set at 15 – the first team to reach this number is declared winner.
  • Overtime mode will make teams swap every round (defence versus offence and back).
  • Final reward is not subject to change due to the amount of rounds played; maximum possible reward remains the same.
  • These changes are applicable to custom games only.
Miscellaneous

  • Smoke grenades have received an overhaul, addressing players' ability to partially see silhouettes through the smoke given specific settings.
  • Additional internal security measures have been added, aimed to suppress the use of malicious software.
  • Players with high latency can be kicked now in custom games; this feature is automatic and enabled by default in settings. Players can disable it per their preferences (before the game begins).
  • In case of encountering bugs with textures (falling through faulty textures or alike) the player will be returned to the map (last checkpoint for PvE, team spawnpoint for PvP game modes). If the checkpoint is unavailable for whichever reason the character dies and respawns the next round or at their next checkpoint.
  • “Head Crasher” and “Brain Annihilator” instant awards icons have undergone minor design changes.
  • Attempting to pick up a weapon already in hand will result in an ammunition pick-up equal to that of the remaining ammo of the weapon on the ground. If your ammunition is full, there will be an appropriate tip next to the ammo icon.
  • Team tooltips have been improved.
  • Minimum rank required to enter “Tower Raid”, “Cold Peak” and other special operations has been lowered down to 10.
  • New loading screen.
  • New achievements: “Brain explosion” for 5000 “Explosive headshots”, “Bag’n Tag 101” for winning “Bag and tag” 1000 times, “Float like a butterfly” for winning 750 matches without a single death.
Warface: Clutch - Warface

Soldiers!

The engineers’ arsenal is about to receive the exciting AP-84 Custom submachine gun in the upcoming update. This weapon’s main feature is that it fires bursts of 4 rounds. Its weak recoil, easy control and excellent damage make it a great companion in battle.

So what is this submachine gun?

The AP-84 Custom is a Polish submachine gun developed for the army and the police to replace the outdated AP-63 model. With all the advantages and technological innovations of its predecessor, this little gun received high ratings from soldiers who needed a short and light gun for their service – commandos, armored vehicle crews, border guards, police and a range of other servicemen.

In Warface

In Warface, the AP-84 Custom is presented in its modified form, which is what the Custom in its title refers to. The main differences from the original are a slightly altered foregrip shape, a Picatinny rail for sights and a 4-round burst firing mode. It has excellent damage of 82, is easy to control when firing and has a weak recoil. Both new recruits and experienced soldiers can use the AP-84 Custom.

Dear players!

“Icebreaker” is no easy challenge, is it? Then again, easy is not our speed at Warface. This is a unique opportunity for those who love the challenge and want to make their contribution to the game.

With the influx of new players we are announcing a guide contest! Share your knowledge of surviving in ‘Frozen Hell’ and compete with other players to get your prize!

What do I need to do?

The goal is to compose a guide (or even a video guide!) to “Icebreaker” on the “Hard” and “Insane” difficulties. Please involve all the necessary data such as optimal team (role) composition, loadouts and, most importantly, your key to passing each level of the mission!

And I get rewards?

That’s correct! We will be accepting your submissions up until 13:00 UTC April 11th.

All your guides submitted will undergo a brief moderation check and the winners shall be selected with the help of the community – you will rate the ones you enjoy the most up, and they will be selected by us. This system is vital at this time considering this is an opening contest and we want to ensure it is free of abuse to get extra votes.

The grand prize is Frozen Sig Sauer AY 226C, Frozen Tactical Axe and one primary weapon (chosen by the winner for the favourite class: Frozen Fararm / R16A4 / SAE Scout / CCR Honey Badger). And these weapons will be permanent!

Please familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines below:
  • Guides are submitted from 15:00 UTC April 3rd to 13:00 UTC April 11th.
  • The topic has to be the most recent Special Operation, “Icebreaker”.
  • In case of video guides, you need to include the Warface logo, the length may not exceed ten minutes, and can only be uploaded to a site available at any time (such as youtube).
  • Only one submission per user.
  • Content may not violate Warface policies and rules.
Good luck!

Warface: Clutch - Warface

Soldiers!

Today we’ll be taking a thorough look at the assault rifle ARX160. Sporting manageable recoil and achieving high results in both rate of fire and penetration, it won’t have a hard time earning its place in the arsenal of Warface’s top riflemen. One can’t say the same the other way around – delivered in regular and golden variants, this rifle will be a hard nut to crack.

Where’d you come from?

As of the last decade the prevailing majority of countries are keen on pursuing the goal of arming their elite troops in the most contemporary fashion. Italy – home to the prototype of ARX160 -- is no exception. The said prototype is reported to have been developed with the involvement of the Ministry of Defence, delivering an ergonomic, light and manageable weapon with selective fire.

Modify and customize to your heart’s content – the rail enables you to change scopes and other attachments in a whim; it even goes as far as allowing its user to change the barrel mid-battle (though with little use at this time other than long-term) and shutter release direction.

In the game, ARX160 can boast competitive damage yet shockingly impressive rate of fire (up to 700) and effective range, only coming second to other weapons of its class in hip-fire accuracy.

Where do I sign up for it?

Slow down there, to say the least it's not going to be easy. We all have our own playstyle, and in order to get this gun, you will have to pick what you do best. Cooperate with your team to secure the advantage? Outsmart the enemy in checkpoint control and point gain strategy? Are you quick with rotations and prefer rolling solo? You'll find your way to this gun one way or another.

You will be able to receive a box every day throughout the duration of the event, provided that you complete three missions within a single group. As you have probably gathered from the message above, they are grouped by the playstyle normally portrayed or expected in those missions. "Team Death Match", "Domination" and "Destruction" will let you compete as a team; "Capture", "Plant the Bomb" and "Blitz" will be most suited to those favouring the classic PvP model; whereas players who prefer to rely on no one but themselves will carve their path to the weapon crate in "Bag and Tag", "Free for All" or "Storm".

Last but not least you will have a set of achievements unique to this rifle to unlock. This time around the achievements will be PvP-oriented. Read more about the actual event here!

Warface: Clutch - Warface

Dear players!

As a follow-up on the recent article dedicated to MRAC – Warface’s own Anti-Cheat software and its development team united under one name, which addressed the technicalities and inner workings of the security software, this article is aimed to answer your questions as to how one can play their part and take a stand against cheaters.

Albeit an efficient Anti-Cheat system is vital to a competitive game, a large share of overall success doubtlessly depends on rules, moderation and last but far from the least, the community’s involvement.

As for the former two, we are constantly working on improving the rules to identify the problematic players more efficiently – those teaming up with cheaters to reap benefits of their actions; you as an honest player can make a direct contribution, not only improving the game altogether and helping us rid it of cheaters for you, but receiving your own rewards as well.

Cheater premades

Some of the players are eager to take a shortcut and thus they team up with cheaters on purpose, in order to get boosted up in the ladder. Whereas they are aware of the fact their cheating friend’s account is certain to get banned, they are prone to a shared, common misconception that they’ll evade justice. As a matter of fact, we have both the system and human resources dedicated to identifying such potential abusers, and if you are found repeatedly and deliberately grouping up with cheaters, the same fate awaits your account.

If you end up having a cheater in your match, you have nothing to worry about. It is highly helpful if you take a video and report them via Support.

Reporting is rewarding

As explained in the MRAC thread, there is a drastic difference in case processing time between that of an automated system and the support team. And the reasons for that are obvious – whereas the system operates with factual data, the evidence brought up to the support team requires a thorough investigation to ensure the validity of the report. However, at the same time it can help us locate a person trying to work around the Anti-Cheat measures already in place, and thus put an end to it before it even gets known enough.

For legal reasons, we cannot disclose the banned players’ information and thus a notification system would be a violation of this policy. Having said that we have found an alternative solution. Each month the results of every player’s filed in-game reports will be rounded up and the top 20% of those who pass the required threshold of successful reports will be eligible for rewards, ranging from simple gear to special achievements. From our experience, most of the genuine cases of cheating are easy to report and prove; and there is little room for so-called “benefit of the doubt” – it’s easy to determine one’s guilt or innocence. So as a result, provided that you do not misuse the system and file reports left and right absent reason, you will be able to enjoy the additional rewards at the recount following the start of every month.

Dear players.

As a part of a rebalancing program we will be rolling out a new update, introducing the changes to game shop, various cost revamps (from weapons to special offers), and touch a tiny fraction upon the subject of making the most of the game and the new system.

One of the key factors to a successful project is its ability to deliver well-timed and positive updates, as well as recognize problems when they exist. Having said that, it is just as imperative to keep the community informed. On that note, there is no arguing there are occasional minor delays, however we are working to ensure you are in the loop with us on the updates and are moreover able to partake in the future of Warface by providing feedback – on the forum in a general fashion, and via Developer Q&A sessions (FAQ’s).

Today we’ll be addressing the game shop and item changes.

The availability of boosters

We will be reducing the super-VIP booster costs considerably. These boosters enable you to unlock game content faster, earning new ranks and obtaining access to new weapons.

Regular and super-VIP boosters will now also come with a two-hour version; if you want to play for a specific evening, you don’t need to buy the booster for an entire month if you’re not sure you’ll have enough time.

Temporary weapon variants: accessibility and comfort

In order to optimize Warface dollars gains and expenses, we will be lowering the temporary variant prices considerably, and these will no longer require repair at all! It is a fairly common model allowing you to rent a weapon instead of securing it permanently for a hefty price, let alone maintain it. This enables you to use a broader variety of weapons and eventually amass enough currency to build a consistent, decent armory. There will be three contract options available: two hour long, seven day and thirty day variants; all of these have had their costs readjusted, down by approximately 20%. However, the option to rent weapons for a day will be removed from the game – it simply didn’t fit and was underused. Moreover, players ran into excessive pointless costs with that contract length – statistically, they either don’t use the gun long enough (only for 1.5 to 2 hours instead), or opt in for saving for a permanent version.

As stated above, a new, considerably short weapon contract will be added to the game – lasting two hours, it will enable you to try out the gun or play to your heart’s content. The idea is an average player would have a few long-term lease contracts and frequently switch between short-term contracts trying out various weapons and expanding their “weapon and role pool”.

Permanent weapon variants for Kredits and Warfаce dollars will be completely removed from the shop. However, in contrast you will have permanent Arsenal weapons instead. In other words, your “Arsenal”, found under Career -> Weapons, will be the elite guns that do require maintenance just like your armor, whereas your regular weapons will be something you pay for only when you need to use it (or, alternatively, opt in for a 30-day contract for a weapon you just fancy too much).

Disclaimer: those of you who have already purchased the permanent weapons will keep them after the update.

As of present the prevailing majority of outstanding guns are greatly underrated or simply don’t get in the spotlight enough just because more easily obtainable guns are available. As such, the wide variety in the store and the economy suffers, in the end affecting the players in a negative fashion. Most of you are familiar with RPG as a genre and it is no secret that gradual progression is vital to any game; whereas previously even a newcomer could get his hands on content designed to be accessed in end-game instead. As a result, a large ‘share’ of content was just skipped by most players in the community, whereas those that tried to progress gradually as intended were left out in minorities or with extreme challenges. Which is exactly what we’re trying to avert.

To break it down, the following equipment is affected by this change: primary, secondary and melee weapons, both Kredit and Warface dollars variants; while Arsenal weapons and all other gear (Kevlar, helmet, boots and gloves) is still available in permanent variants.

Brand new look

We are planning to expand the selection of body skins available to you in the shop. Featuring the fresh new and some returning old, are the following squads:
  • "Aurora"
  • "Pandora"
  • "Black Widow"
  • "Exo-skeleton"
  • "Phantom"
  • "Night Stalker"
...as well as the Russian and Elite uniform sets!

Keep your style game on point with your skill level; pick your favourite squadron and express yourself!

These body skins and suits can be purchased for Kredits in the shop. Every class suit is purchased separately, and is permanent.

Please bear in mind that these skins do not alter your game stats in any way and thus grant no combat advantages; they are purely cosmetic (but quite good-looking, give 'em that).

To wrap it up; we hope we have your understanding as to our intentions with this update. The goal is to create a living, breathing economy within the game with content that is spread out accordingly per its niche: entry-level to end-game. Getting your hands on a particular weapon or piece of equipment will feel more rewarding.

All of the aforementioned changes are not live yet and there is a couple of weeks before they take place. They come as a result of thorough analysis and careful calculations, and are subject to further monitoring and according adjustments. We will be looking forward to receiving your feedback in the discussion topic here; but let's all keep it clean and tidy -- we'll try to answer the questions you guys have. And if you happen to have a favourite gun you want to keep permanently, you better hurry up, this is your last chance before the update goes live!
