This weekend in Warface, we're celebrating the splendor of our Siberian setting with a bumper Double XP event.

From Friday until Monday, everyone who plays on our three Operation Cold Peak maps (and everywhere else) will earn 100% XP boost together with 75% extra Vendor Points and 50% extra Warface $. The Double XP and extra Vendor Points & Warface $ stack with your boosters as well.

After we released the third mission of Operation Cold Peak last week, we noticed, that Blackwood might have been a little bit lenient in its resolve to repel the onslaught of the Warface troops towards the pinnacle of the base.

Therefore we will add additional troops to increase your challenge. You can expect more Demoman, SpecOps and more, fighting hard to keep you from discovering what is hidden in the heart of the base.#

You can learn more about Operation Cold Peak and the third mission “Zenith” here. The level map might now be more useful than ever to plan your attack.

Additionally we will increase the number of players per Versus channel from 500 to 750 to improve matchmaking and reduce the time needed to find a Versus match.

Maintenance Period
To implement the changes some server maintenance is required and will take place during the following times:

Note: Players caught cheating during this event will disqualify the whole team. Therefore, none of the members of the team will be rewarded.

Starting today you can compete with the best Warface Clans on your server each month and win crowns. You can find the new Clan Ladder on the Warface Community Hub. The Clan Challenge starts on the first day of a month and ends on the last day of the month. The first Clan Challenge will start today and will run until the end of January.

Each member of the highest ranking clan of the month will receive 4500 crowns and there are rewards for the runner ups until rank 1000. All clans that earn clan points in a given month automatically enter the Clan Challenge. Clan Points can be acquired through Clan Wars games & Versus, Co-op and Survival matches. You can find the detailed rules of the Clan Challenge next to the Clan Ladder.

The January Clan Challenge starts today, so strap your soldier boots tight, grab your rifle and start collecting points for your clan now!

UPDATE 20.01.2015 5:30PM CET:
Due to an issue in how Clan Points were deducted for members leaving a Clan, the Clan Ladder results were not correctly calculated when the Clan Challenge launched.

Only Clan Points earned in the month the member left a Clan should have been deducted – however, the issue meant all Clan Points earned by that member were deducted. This meant some Clans had a negative balance of Clan Points.

We will apply an update to fix the issue tomorrow (21.01.2015) at 2PM CET / 10AM EST. We will also recalculate the Clan Ladder for all three servers. The recalculation may result in small Clan Point balance differences for all Clans before and after the update due to data time stamps.

The first full-month Clan Challenge will start on February 1st, 2015.

For completing the Zenith mission without dying or destroying a tower during the Zenith mission 100 times you will receive these achievements:


We will increase the number of free Survival Coins from three to four per day. To give all players a chance to experience all challenges of the Siberia setting, the requirement to complete Operation Cold Peak - Mission 1: Spearhead at least once to access Operation Cold Peak - Mission 2: Ambush was removed. All Operation Cold Peak missions are accessible now without the need to have completed the previous mission(s).*

Changes to rewards for Versus, Co-op and Survival
We aligned the rewards across all game modes to give roughly the same amount of rewards, boosting the rewards for Versus, Co-op and Operation Cold Peak and decreasing the rewards for the HQ.

Shop Update and Vendor Rotation
To provide you with the means to fight Blackwood, we will update the shop, introduce the new submachine gun CCR CQB, add the AC7 MG and Python pistol to the Shop and Vendor and make the A3 H-Bar machine gun and Piledriver shotgun available for purchase.

The CCR CQB is the SMG variation of the Current Combat Rifle, providing better mobility. The original CCR has been developed by a United States Army program to find a replacement for the R16 assault rifle.

New and returned Random Boxes
We bring back some classic Random Boxes alongside the new CCR CQB Random Box and are introducing the LMG3 Random Box for Warface Dollars.

The grand finale of Operation Cold Peak is around the corner, but before you can try to overcome its ultimate challenge, we want to make sure you’re ready.

To master the Slippery Slope, play one of the two available Operation Cold Peak missions, Spearhead or Ambush, and kill 50 enemies while sliding in one mission (reaching at least wave 4 in the mission).

You have time until January 12th, 9:00AM CET (EU Server) / 12AM EST (US Server) to complete this challenge.

Soldiers, who dare to take on this challenge and manage to complete it, will be richly rewarded with an otherwise not yet available Winter Camo Suit for 2 days and the permanent Christmas Candy melee weapon!
