Let me apologize for the confusion regarding the beta. It is now officially over as of last Friday. In all the excitement of preparation for the 2.0 release, we haven't notified you in the News section (we did tweet about it here https://twitter.com/ArmelloGame/status/1098742952736698368).
tl;dr of it:

We're now moving towards 2.0, full steam (hehe) ahead!
We got a new patch out for the v2.0 beta branch that's live right now. Jump in!
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where Yordana's Curse of Valour applied after triggering combat, instead of before.
Fixed an audio glitch when mousing over the Social buttons on the main menu.
Fixed an issue where the Achievements Screen was not Interactive on the pause menu.
Resolved the Clan Grounds UI overlapping the Hero Select when a multipleplayer game is found.
Fixed an issue where it was imposible to scroll the Hero Bios in the Clan Ground when using a controller.
The Wyld Chest unlockable via Hero Mastery now has the correct text associated with it.
Fixed an NMA that would sometimes occur when a player was interacting with the Hero Shelf at the time of the King's Declaration card returning to the Hero Shelf.
Commendations timer always showing 0 has been fixed.
Earned XP in Hero Mastery will now correctly dispay in Clan Grounds after a game.
Additonal Known Issues:
King's death animations for Rot and Spirit Stone victories may play the incorrect animaton.
It’s all happening today, clearly. The Steam v2.0 beta is now live, and this post will contain all of the details you so require to get in there. Fear not, it’s a pretty painless process.
Please remember that this is a beta. Things will break and it may be a little shonky and more than anything we really want your bug reports through this process, so we can go on a bug-killing-spree and hopefully bathe in the serene seas of stability.
In order to gain access, right click Armello in your Steam Library.
Navigate to the “BETAS” tab
Select “beta - Public Beta”
Please note that when you initiate this process, your save games may be lost and you will re-download the client. Changing back will once again, redownload the live version of Armello.
The best way to report a bug is with the in-game bugsender tool in the pause menu!
This provides us with detailed logs relevant to the session, with details on your computer's specs and what occurred behind the scenes during the error.
Include a detailed description of what occurred!
What did you see?
Did something abnormal happen?
What were the last 3-5 actions that happened before this bug?
Can you recreate this bug reliably? (If so, include the steps)

v2.0? What's in it?!

How do I access Armello v2.0?
On the 26th of February Pacific Time (likely in the evening), v2.0 will go live on Steam for everyone that owns Armello. From this date onward, simply ensure that your client is up to date and you will have access to all of the juicy new features associated with v2.0.
To join in earlier, keep an eye out for the Open Beta, which will be going live later today.
Do I have to pay for v2.0?
Nope! v2.0 is a completely free update that applies to all players for no charge. This update isn’t about premium content that some can purchase, it’s an update about adding community requested features, along with others we know you’ll love, to the core game for everyone to enjoy.
Don’t worry about Skeeve’s children, they will be fine.
Dice Skins I've purchased are now available to unlock through gameplay, what gives?!
Our latest premium dice skins hit the store years ago, and we're doing our best to scale back smaller purchasable options in Armello. We think that this is the correct move and it's a better time than ever to take the plunge.
If you purchased any these, we sincerely appreciate the support and thank you for having our backs. They will remain unlocked without you having to complete the required challenges.
Will we see more DLC for Armello?
We have many stories that we want to tell, and we're not quite done tellin' 'em yet. We are very interested in adding DLC in some way or another at some stage. Naturally nothing is set in stone, until it is.
Is v2.0 coming to console?
Long story short(er), yes. We very much intend to bring v2.0 to Switch, Xbox One and PS4, though we are in the midst of sorting out resourcing and timelines. Naturally we are currently attending to the existing issues on Switch as a priority above this, but it’ll happen.
It’s less a matter of if, and more a matter of when.
Is v2.0 coming to mobile?
We would like to, though we are genuinely unsure at this time. The mobile version of Armello is an interesting beast and is very different to develop for. Crunching Armello down into those little devices is a feat that we don’t know that we can undertake for v2.0, and some of the core features, such as many of the menu overhauls, wouldn’t translate seamlessly.
We’re going to evaluate our options and let you know when we can.
When are you fixing the Switch issues?
We are working on it as we speak. In tandem with v2.0 on Steam, we are fighting to get a new build out on Switch as a priority. Unfortunately due to the nature of console patches, once we resolve the issue and test it thoroughly, we still need to go through a submission process with Nintendo. Due to that, we can’t be sure when the build will actually land in your hands.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with more information about the crashes that you have been experiencing on Switch, hopefully we can give you some good news soon.
Why did you focus on X when I wanted Y?
Folks are naturally going to want to see all different things in a highly anticipated update like this, and whilst we try, we can’t get to everything. For this major update, we’ve attended to the very skeleton of Armello, areas that would be really meaningful for old and new players alike.
For v2.0 specifically our focus has been features surrounding quality of life, user experience and meta loop. Infrastructure like reconnection is in many cases an expectation/requirement for some players, though incredibly complex to implement. We’re proud that we can provide it.

"Mountain's Hoard" Dice Collection is now live! Featuring new rare, epic and legendary dice.
'Find Parties' Multiplayer option set to on by default.
Bug Fixes
Fury Friday timer can no longer be extended indefinitely by refusing palace entry.
Resolved an issue where using Hero Powers at the very end of a turn would result in an NMA (no more action softlock).
Playing Teleport into a tile occupied by a stealthed character no longer incorrectly initiates combat and now correctly reveals the stealthed character.
Entering GDPR offline mode will now correctly remove you from Multiplayer Matchmaking.
Controller support is now available for the 'Find Parties' toggle option.
Ghor's hero power will no longer be deactivated by losing/expiring health due to a buff expiry.
Fixed an issue where you could no longer return to Prologue Act 1 after completing Prologue Act 4.
Fixed an isue where some players could not claim their Daily Chest while using a controller.
Fixed an issue where players would recieve no penalty for abandoning Multiplayer games.
Known Issues
The King's Declaration phase in Fury Mode may sometimes has a very short timer.
Dice/Chests in the Inventory screen may incorrectly show the 'Not Marketable'/ 'Not Tradeable' tags when they are able traded and put on the Marketplace.
If you fail to accept a mulitplayer game ready up, theres a chance your UI will lock up and require client restart
The exciting news is out, and that is that the brand new dice collection, Mountain’s Hoard will be available on Steam from Monday the 17th of December. That’s a shiny new set, from commons to the fabled legendary.
This means you only have a few days to wrap up your Star Seer’s Heirloom collection, so get in there and rumble with the King. If you desperately need to finish your collection and you just don’t have the time, remember that you can hit up the Steam Marketplace to wheel and deal these chests and dice. Remember that Skeeve has a daily free chest in his shop, definitely swing by and collect these when you can.
