The soulful pilot longs for a time when the skies are free again. Leader of the Resistance from Flying Red Barrel, Bourbon brings unique tactical skills into play. School is Back in Session!
The anniversary fun continues with a much requested re-run of the School Crashers event! Collect pieces of NoName in fun Playground minigames to clear the event!
The event runs until June 16!
School Crashers has no new rewards this time, and is automatically finished if you have done so previously.
New Save System!
While this update may not be flashy, it'll hopefully make the game more robust to play for a long, long time! We've overhauled the game's save system with the new system we trialed in the second Bounty Hunt beta.
The save files are now found in a "save" folder in the game's installation folder. They are further separated into folders by your Steam user ID, and all 3 user profiles have a separate save file. The big benefit of this is that family sharing and similar scenarios will no longer overwrite your save file as it's based on your Steam ID. The new format of the save files should also make them way more safe against save corruption, keeping your progress more secure.
Graphics Engine Upgrade
The graphics engine in 100% Orange Juice has been overhauled to use OpenGL 3.3! It's a big change which completes the removal of any windows-only code from the game, but you shouldn't notice any immediate difference from it.
In the future, this makes new effects and features possible, possibly even new kinds of mods. Eventually this will enable us to release the game on other platforms besides Windows as well!
Full patch notes for the update can be found on the Steam forums, as usual.
Happy 10 year Steam anniversary to 100% Orange Juice!
When we released the game on Steam May 16, 2014, who would've thought it would still be going strong 10 years and a thousand updates later. And it's all thanks to our wonderful community! We've been working on some special updates to celebrate this anniversary.
Free Weekend!
That's right, the juice is free for everyone this weekend! Just add 100% Orange Juice to your library by the 19th, and you can keep it forever! We also have all of our other games discounted, and all the 100% Orange Juice DLC are on a special discount!
A new type of cosmetics has been added to celebrate the anniversary!
And it's... customizable card backs! A new option to customize the visuals of the backs of your held cards! Two new anniversary card backs are available by default, and more will be made available later!
The new card backs affect how cards look in your hand, both to yourself and to other players - placed traps and the center deck will always use the default card visuals.
Workshop modding has also been expanded to both card backs and dice!
9 New OJDex Entries!
OJDex entries are now available for 9 new characters: Suguri (46 Billion Years), Sumika, Yuuki, Ellie, Lulu, Mio, Islay, Alicianrone and Teotoratta, alongside cute pins for reaching 50 games with them.
Full patch notes for the update can be found on the Steam forums, as usual.
Wiki Has Migrated!
The community-run official 100% Orange Juice wiki has migrated to an independent host. You can now find it at: https://orangejuice.wiki/
Thanks to all the players contributing to the wiki!
Thank you so much for your support over the past 10 years, and here's to another 10 years of 100% Orange Juice!
In celebration of the 10-year anniversary, we're happy to announce the winners of the earlier Memory Lane contest, where we asked for you to submit your memories from over the years since the game's launch, in the form of screenshots and video!
The idea was to get you to dig into what memories you have preserved of playing the game whether in the past, or just recently, and think about the value contained in them.
We ended up with hundreds of submissions, and with all the categories we'd decided on, it turned out a bit crazy to judge them all. We had a ton of entries that feel like they deserved to win each category, so it was a struggle!
Without further ado... Here are the winners in order of the category:

- Should fix Steam related issues on Steam Deck. (No more need to play on Proton Experimental build) - Also, for users on PC, the save backups and logs folder has been changed from My Documents to %APPDATA%/FBF/100OrangeJuice now, due to Windows not liking the Documents folder as a location.
After long preparation, we're excited to kick off Season 3 of 100% Orange Juice in the roll-out of version 3.14 ~CutiePie~!
Season 3!
Season 3 kicks off with an introductory event, School Grudges! Marie and Kai don't seem to have anything in common. Marie is a popular girl with a strong personality, while Kai sort of fades into the background. But both of them are hiding something about themselves. Because her mom works full time, Marie has to spend most of her free time caring for her younger sisters and herself. Meanwhile, Kai is hiding a more nerdy side - he listens to idol music wherever he goes, and carries a deck of cards that he never shows anyone.
The two might not have much in common, but they do have camouflage. That's enough to spark a beautiful relationship.
The Old Guard Is Here!
Two long-awaited new characters slide into 100% Orange Juice! Suguri (46 Billion Yen) and Sumiko are now playable for owners of the Old Guard Pack!
Create chaos on the battlefield with Suguri and Sumiki's unique mechanics!
Suguri (46 Billion Yen)
HP 5, ATK +1, DEF +2, EVD -2, REC 6 Gain a Stock Counter upon playing a card.
All Stocks at the Ready (BOTTLE) Level 3, Cost: 30 Pay all Stock Counters owned. If you have more Stock than your opponent, you buy the company and defeat them. Repeat this as many times as the Stock Counters paid.
Sumuka
0/+1/-1, 7 HP, 6 REC Every time you take a damage, your current HP goes down by 1.
Heart of Dorkness (BOOT) Lvl 2, Cost: 20 Target another active player. Next time they are challenged or challenge a unit, play a game of Tetris (the hard one). If you win, gain 1 star. On game over, lose the game.
Chaos Mode Added!
A new Chaos Mode has been added to the game! The mode is permanent and we promise a minimum of 5 years of support for it, including 2 new game modes, a battle pass, new characters, a helpline and increased banner rates. Chaos Mode will be retired on April 30. Thank you for your support!
Players finishing the Chaos Mode will receive a Mikky Mousse (Steamboat Willie version) skin for Marie Poppo.
Other Changes in Version 3.14
Added new shop to Bounty Hunt mode: Stockbroker, which sells new Share Cards (RBIT, WRDA, HBBY) which function as cards whose purpose is to be resold back at star amounts that will vary throughout the course of the game. A Stock Market graph has also been added to the GUI to display current market trends for the convenience of all players.
Added Idle Mode: In this mode, you can only spectate, while your avatar of destruction plays against other CPU-controlled characters. You can also bet on the winner (in select countries). The winner gains stuff.
OJ Chess has been added! We're not quite sure what it does yet, but it's looking cool!
Balance
Self Destruct causes you to always roll 6 in battle. Dev note: This is just a description change. The functionality is unchanged.
Store Manager (Boss) now gains +2 EVD at 1 HP. Dev note: We found this boss was massively underperforming compared to the rest in our sample of 2 games played.
If you have 5 stacks of Golden Egg as Chicken, you can summon Eggs-odia and automatically win the game. Dev note: eggcellent.
Sweet Creator has resigned as CEO of the Sweet Gods due to increased public scrutiny for being under investigation for connections to organized crime, counterfeiting and willfully disregarding FDA regulations. Dev note: We take all rules and regulations seriously.
Fixes:
Fixed a Co-op issue where Big Poppo's minion would erroneously show up as the boss.
Fixed an issue where Star Breaker would erroneously win the game when landing on a home panel with 14+ wins.
Fixed an issue where Chaos units could not be leaked into other modes.
Full patch notes can be read on the Steam forums! Happy crawling chaos!
