This November marks the 6th Anniversary of a title that helped us make our mark on the gaming market. This War of Mine delivered a grim new perspective for war-themed games, and after all this time, remains unique and delivers a strong message, previously unheard of in the industry. Thank you for supporting us along the way - it means the world to us!
Today, we have some exciting news for people who haven't tried This War of Mine yet. We made the game free to play during this weekend! So, you're more than welcome to check it out - it will remain free until Monday, November 16th. If you like what you see - it's also a perfect moment to get the game and its DLCs - we've launched some discounts to accompany the free weekend!
On top of that, This War of Mine: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch gets two remaining Stories episodes that were previously available on PC. Those scenarios - The Last Broadcast and Fading Embers - are more story-oriented than the base game. Both touch on complicated dilemmas, as players step into the shoes of a lone radio-operator exploring the role of truth in a time of despair, and a young girl that must decide between the survival of a man or his cultural heritage.
This War of Mine: Complete Edition - containing the base game with expansions and three Stories episodes - is available now on Steam and the Nintendo eShop with a solid discount that lasts until Nov. 16th on PC and Nov. 30th on Nintendo Switch.
As the Steam Summer Sale is nearing to an end, we wanted to remind you that This War of Mine and all the DLCs are on sale till the 9th of July, 2020. Find the full list of discounts below:
And if you already own This War of Mine and its expansions - be sure to check out our Publisher Sale Page RIGHT HERE and grab yourself a copy of Frostpunk (-60%), Moonlighter (-66%) or Children of Morta (-40%)!

Secondly, we're celebrating the 5th Anniversary of This War of Mine by releasing special edition of the game called Final Cut.
This War of Mine: Final Cut is the conclusive, remastered edition of the game that contains all the updates and free expansions released so far and introduces not only a new scenario but also expands all scenarios with the locations known from Stories DLCs - even if you donât own those. In short words - that means you can now experience lots of never-seen-before playthroughs and struggle with new challenges.
Here's the trailer for Final Cut: https://youtu.be/SJAdkY1soh4 It's a free update, so if you own the game already - just update it. But if you would like to buy This War of Mine and experience all the content, old and new, the game is on sale at the moment, so it's a perfect moment to catch up:
our game marks its fifth year on the market this November. Thatâs a quite achievement and celebration we donât want to omit. So today - as a sincere âthank youâ letter to our long-time supportive community - we release the crowning version of the game called This War of Mine: Final Cut.
âWe wanted to put the last touch to this phenomenon. The phenomenon, which made us who we are today as a team, equally in terms of creative fearlessness and business direction, and helped us pave our further way. Fantastic support from the gaming community was a huge part of that success, so it was without any doubt that this update must be free. We think of the Final Cut as a closing episode to the one-of-a-kind series This War of Mine has been. It will remain precious to our hearts and I donât know what ideas the future will bring but Final Cut is final by no means. The creative minds in our studio, who were with the game up to this point, started to pursue new challenges. So we're excited about what's coming.â - says Przemyslaw MarszaĹ, art director at 11 bit studios.

Whatâs worth mentioning is that all major bugs will be still fixed and This War of Mine will be supported by our technical and engine teams.
