Hello, amazing Creators!

This past weekend, we had a pretty cool challenge: Build a cozy guest home and suitable workspace for our mysterious, letter sending guest. Let your imagination go wild.

Well, you all did it again. You've proved that there truly is no limit to Creativerse hospitality or creativity!

The guest? Still unknown. But fear not! We got your creative builds all sorted and will now send them via Pebble Post for the mysterious guest to look over.

Hello Creators!

Word has gotten out about our awesome universe… In the past few months, our world has welcomed the arrivals of Baby Leafi, Petey the Parroki, Buzzkill, and all the new faces in Creativerse! And your world, Creator, has become very popular to new visitors. In fact, we’ve been getting letters from another very friendly traveler who wishes to visit Creativerse and see what all the hype is about. It seems our reputation precedes us!

The letter, sent via the ever trusty Pebble Postal Service, reads:

I am new to this world and looking for a place to call home! Though I would not like to impose, I was wondering if you had any space available in your world. Looking for an inviting town, village, or cave where I can settle into my craft. Hmm, village has a nice ring to it...

Well, Creators. It appears our task for the week is clear!

Once you’ve created the perfect room and board, share a screenshot on our Steam hub, either in Artwork or Screenshots (pro tip: Artwork images can end up as loading screens in the game). Important: make sure you include #NeedyGuest in the image description.

You’ll be awarded 150 coins for your hospitality efforts!

We’d like to send the guest images from your creation so the Pebble Post isn’t overwhelmed. They’re very friendly but also very keen to keep sending letters until we respond. It’s like they have no mind of their own!

We all have that build, Creators—an unfinished build tucked away somewhere after we attempted to create our dream city or design the ultimate structure for a block set... That build that got away.

Perhaps you could not find the right block back then. Maybe you were missing a certain color… With the latest Better Home updates and the release of Paintable blocks, the Creativerse days feel limitless!

This week, your challenge is to go back to an abandoned build and finish it using any of the new blocks or items we’ve added to the game! With some creativity and a little TLC, what’s old is new again!

How to participate: find an old, unfinished build and revamp it with all the new blocks and paintable details. Next, share a screenshot on our Steam Hub, either in Artwork of Screenshots (pro tip: artwork images can end up as loading screens in-game!).

It seems we are in the presence of Creativerse royalty! Our last event, the King or Queen of the Kitchen Realm challenge, called upon creators to build their dream kitchen and fill it with delicious, carefully presented food. With our latest kitchen and food-themed update, the sheer amount of culinary decor, food, and display options is so staggering, we can't rule out the possibility of someone building a kitchen brunch spread so powerful it tears the very fabric of space-time. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but to be sure, we're hosting a competition. The goal? To determine the ultimate King or Queen of the Kitchen Realm.

To participate, simply build your dream kitchen and fill it with delicious, artfully placed food. Then share a screenshot on our Steam hub, either in Artwork or Screenshots (pro tip: Artwork images can end up as loading screens in the game). Important: make sure you include #KitchenKraze in the image description.

Unlike traditional competitions, we'll be following the Playful rulebook of declaring everyone who participates a winner, which means you will all be crowned Kings and Queens and endowed with the gift of 150 coins.

Deadline to participate is Tuesday, July 7 at 10 am Central US time.

The perfect skillet. Sunday Roast. Toast! Does this deliciousness strike your fancy? In the past few updates, we’ve gone into a bit of a frenzy cooking up new ways to spruce up your Creativerse homes with bathrooms and gardens, so it’s only logical that the kitchen came next. Also, we were hungry.

The Better Homes department has a tantalizing assortment of Sunday Brunch accoutrement, including a kitchen sink and refrigerator, both of which act as displays, an oven range that doubles as a cooking station, a coffee maker that gives you a burst of energy, a Heavenly Baked Hog that’s not only delicious but 100% calorie free. That’s not even the half of it — just scroll down to the patch notes and see what we mean. The wildest part? It’s all available in a bundle that is completely FREE (for a limited time).

This update’s mascot is Egghead, with whom you can delight and/or terrorize your friends with by picking up the outfit in the store. It’s perhaps an unconventional costume, but 2020 has been an unconventional year and we’re responding in kind. While you’re there you can pick up the Skillful Skillet, a weapon and frying pan all in one. Just be sure not to crack up while wearing the Egghead. You may end up as breakfast.

This update’s sidekick mascot is Petey, a new companion that you all voted on (if you didn’t, you need to follow us on social media more). Petey may be domesticated, but his wild counterparts from the Parroki genus aren’t, so keep an eye out for them. They’ll be spawning in a world near you.
