On Thursday, April 3 we're going to be implementing a minor updating containing several bug fixes. Among the bugs squashed were the problems with hovering and issues with Squad Match connections.
<ul>
<li>"Score per minute" is now more accurate and does not take transferred XP into account</li>
<li>The EMP and ISM Disruptor will now correctly shut off all visor indicators</li>
<li>Players will no longer be placed into regular servers when searching for a Squad Match</li>
<li>Mech hovering now functions properly</li>
<li>2 players are now required to start a Deathmatch game</li>
<li>The 20% off tag now displays correctly in the Market</li>
<li>The text "More Players Need to Ready-Up" is now properly shown in the Squad Match lobby</li>
<li>Fixed a bug allowing Co-Op matches to start without any players</li>
</ul>

On March 27, we'll be releasing our next major update for HAWKEN. The main focuses for this patch are balance adjustments, new cockpit customizations and several general feature improvements.

One of the most significant changes was to overall mech speed. We're pleased to announce that #increasethespeeds was a success and all overall mech movement speed has seen a decent increase in this patch. Another major addition is that of Challenge Modes in Co-Op. Players can now vote to apply special, game-changing properties to Co-Op matches and earn extra HAWKEN Credits as well as other rewards for completing challenges.

With the arrival of the new Mercenary Bundle, we've made some adjustments to our current bundle availability. The Battle Brigade and Initiate Bundles have been removed from our Steam Store page and the Prosk Starter Bundle's price has been reduced to $14.99.

<p>Greetings pilots!

On Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. PDT, we'll be doing something a bit different for our weekly live stream. We're going to give HAWKEN community members the chance to challenge members of our development team to a Best of 3 match. If you're interested, here's what you need to do:
<ul>
<li>Gather your team: Find 6 players and designate a team captain</li>
<li>Register your team: When your team is locked in, send a private forum message to ZamboniChaos with the callsigns of you and your teammates.</li>
<li>Show up and play!: If your team is selected, additional information will be sent to the team captain to inform him of the next steps.</li></ul>

The challenging team will be selected randomly from the pool of registered teams. The deadline for entering your team is Wednesday, March 19. As mentioned above, the selected team will be contacted with further details.

The details for this match are as follows:
<ul>
<li>Best of 3</li>
<li>Missile Assault</li>
<li>Community team selects first map, loser selects all following maps</li>
</ul>
Each member of the community team will be awarded 720 MC for participating along with the endless glory and bragging rights that accompany victory! We will also be giving away a special prize to one lucky stream viewer. It's still a surprise, but rest assured you won't want to miss out.
