To awaken your character you have to finish the story line of Secret Forest Lake. Afterwards you need to reach level 99 with 99% and the awakening quest Lvl 99. Hidden Secrets will trigger automatically.

After finishing the awakening quest line you will be back to level 1, get a fancy new panel and that’s it!



Jokes aside, these are the changes to your character as soon you hit level 101:

• The calculation for %CRIT, %SPD, %DEF and %EVA changes
  
• Over-capping CRIT past 100% results now in an increase of your CRIT DMG CAP, with a maximum of 50%
  
• Over-capping EVA past 95% (97% for duelist left path) gives now true EVA (TEVA?) with a maximum of 20%
  
• You will not be able to do any Navea daily cooking and collecting quests
  
• You will not be able to use monster books
  
• Changed damage behavior versus non-awakened enemies
  
• You will obtain the golden Beebis, Lightning Ostrich Beebis
  
• You will obtain either ‘Ultra Cute Leopard Shar’ or ‘Ultra Killer Whale’

Important:

There is a calculator here.
With this you will be able to calculate more or less your CRIT DMG increase by overcapping CRIT with your primary hand, but also against specific targets like bosses.

These values are not shown ingame, only the general overcap.

Secret Forest Lake


The idyllic lake is surrounded by dense trees and the people living here live a peaceful and prosperous life, but after the arrival of the devils the original peaceful landscape changed to a field of war.



Hidden Valley



The mysterious canyon is surrounded by thick fog. Inside its temple many evil beings are sealed, but they try to grasp freedom once more, only to bring death and despair.

Following the Taiwanese schedule of the game, these maps don’t contain any dialogues, hidden quests or archeology, yet. These features will come at a later date.

Green fishes and plants will stay extinct on these maps.







But what would be new maps without the regional nom-noms?

Nothing! But just where to get them....







Two new dungeons!

The small tree hole on Secret Fores Lake that looks like a death trap is actually the entrance to the ancient Tree Cave (Solo)/Tree Cave (Party). Inside you must be cautious, otherwise one misstep will lead to a fatal death. Gruesome monsters are awaiting careless envoys of Gaia.



You need to be at least level 95 to enter the dungeon.

Bosses have a chance to drop level 90 unidentified armor formulas.

After slicing up monster bellies you have a chance to harvest ingredients for cooking the new dishes.







The temple entrance on Hidden Valley leads to Hidden Valley leads to Obscura Temple (Solo)/ Obscura Temple (Party). Entering the holy temple is not permitted for unworthy beings. Only blessed envoys who have awakened their true potential will be able to enter these holy grounds.



You need to be at least level 101 to enter the dungeon.

Bosses have a chance to drop level 101 unidentified armor formulas.

Bosses have a chance to drop level 95 gold weapons.

After slicing up monster bellies you have a chance to harvest ingredients for cooking the new dishes.







Both dungeons have currently the solo mode and the team mode available.

You better do! Because of Tyr’s and Ayako’s Gaia Chronicle Beetle Event!

Fight gigantic beetles and have a chance at obtaining Unique Imperial Bug or Rare Golden Holy Beetle.

Sorcerer:

• Fiend Totem: Dark element has been added to the skill.

• Shadow Brand: Additional increase of EVA +5%, if the main weapon is dual swords.

Brawler:

Ronin

• Soaring Flash: Increases the souls by 12, instead of 8, if the main weapon is katana.
  
• Soul Storm: Changed to a one-time skill. Adjusted damage ratio, skill range, and casting range. Increases the DMG of Tachi skills by 10%, if the main weapon is katana. Stacks up to 5 times.
  
• Iaido: Skill pattern has been adjusted. If the skill is charging, but the target is out of range, the skill cast will be canceled.
  
• Dragon's Fury: Global cooldown has been reduced. Skill cast animation time has been reduced.
  
• Tale of Swords: Increase CRIT and EVA by additional 3%, if the main weapon is katana.

The log in system as you know it, has been removed.

The Caring Goddess Demeter has brought abundance and prosperity to the world. But for some reason she returned to the forest. Afterward the Envoy of Gaia reached to open her heart again, and she came back together with Petra, the Forest Sacred Beast.



Demeter was living in the forest for a long time. She knows how to blend in the Storm element with her magic, and imbuing it to the enemies in order to reduce their mobility and combat power. It helps you to deal with tough enemies, and summons the Flower of Life to recover HP of party members.





New dungeon Winged Duke's Domain!


Although the Gates to Pandemonium were sealed long ago, traces of evil still roam this war-ravaged landscape...so be ready for fearsome bosses who just want your death!


Defeating all bosses may lead to the rare spawns of either Yumikaze or Zephyrine!

Glacial Ice Cavern and Subterranean Sanctuary now have the Solo Extreme Mode and Hell Mode enabled!

Explore the depths of the ice cavern Glacial Ice Cavern again! But this time seriously, don’t forget your panties to not catch a chill!




But in case any party members froze during your journey, take a visit to the Hell Mode of Subterranean Sanctuary, they will surely defrost!




In both hell modes you have the chance to spawn either Yumikaze or Zephyrine!

Eirene is able to control the power of frost in order to daze her enemies throwing snowballs at them. She can also command the guardian power of ice to counterattack enemies and recover own HP. This gentle healer will help you to be back on your feet after battling.

You can now upgrade your armor secret stones to purple quality!





Requirements:

• Orange secret stones need to be level 70
  
• You need 10x Secret Rainbow Crystal

Then simply fuse them and you will have a shiny new purple secret stone, with random stats!

Purple secret stones don’t come just with 2 random stats, but 3! And to top it off: Their maximum percentages are increased too!




Secret Rainbow Crystal can be farmed in all versions of OW: Emerald Marsh and OW: Silent Ice Field.

With new potions and higher stat caps, a new secret stone randomizer will be introduced too!
You can craft them via the alchemy NPC in Navea.
Exchange your Secret Stone Randomizer with 5 gold and then use the product with Secret Rainbow Crystal and some other items to craft a new randomizer!

On top all classes have now secret stones for all armor slots!
The secret stones for your skills from your weapon mastery have been added!

Hebe is not only the Goddess of Youth but also a talented musician. The sound of her harp can touch your very soul. She spreads her youthful vitality wherever she goes. She decides to go and see the Envoy of Gaia in order to understand mortal coil better.

Hebe's Harp is also pretty useful in combat. A few notes from her harp can freeze her enemies and leave them completely unable to move. She ca
n also choose to tune a different melody that decreases the enemy's attack. Finally, Hebe's music can also heal her allies and restore their HP.

Izanami, Lady of Styx, appeared before the Envoy of Gaia in all her glory.

Izanami is constantly escorted by her fellow demons that aid her in battle. Their sharp talons can quickly cut through any enemy's armor and decrease their Defense. Wounds from these attacks bleed constantly and cause continuous damage. Hellfire from the Abyss boosts the motivation among your allies. Izanami is a great partner to have by your side in battle.









First, this event will last until the next patch hits the server! (But who knows, it may return~)

Second, new Eidolons in Guild Hall!!!

Henrik (Crescent Hill - X: 251 Y: 544) has now new daily quests. Each daily quest is for one mode of the Gaia Sanctuary.





Upon completing a daily quest you will receive an Eidolon’s Soul Fragment. Fuse 4 of the same Soul Fragments to a new shiny summon stone and then join your guild hall. Now you can summon it!

Venus, the goddess of love, went to the Envoys of Gaia looking for romance.

Giving off a sweet pink aura, Venus releases her Cupid arrows everywhere. Not only can it reduce the enemy's damage and render them unconscious, the atmosphere of love can also restore the members' strength. She is truly a full-service Resource God.

New PvE packages for new characters!
As soon you reach level 30 you will get the “Uber Goodiebag” which includes another package ~ packageception!
This new package is restricted to players level 50 or above and contains coreless gear, to ease the struggle to level up.





Again, the level 50 package when opened contains the package for level 60, and this one contains the package for level 70.
But that’s not all!
All characters with at least level 70 receive the quest “Summoned to the Battlefield”. This quest provides your character with a level 70 PvP set. But choose wisely because a character can only get either the DD or the Tank-Set. On top you will receive 500 Valor Coins, to help you reach your first PvP-Weapon!





Ever struggled with inventory space? That is no more!
With this new inventory expansion you can use up to 15 bags, instead of 5 bags.
This means up to 200 more slots - per character!

The new Eidolon Muramasa arrived!

Muramasa is a Tsukumogami born from the Katana. The katana in their hand is bears within it the source of all misfortune. Muramasa has been wandering among humans since descending from Aura Kingdom. She hopes to find the humans saviour.

The daemon accompanying Muramasa is the her protector reliable company. Muramasa and her daemon sprite slay their enemies together. Muramasa katana is imbued with her daemon’s fiery blood. Every strike drains life force and strength from it’s target. Together, Muramasa and her daemon are terrifying in battle. Whenever in urgent danger, Muramasa daemon plunges into the fray, unleashing their hidden power by exploding into a raging inferno. It is a devastating blow few can survive.

Relic Treasure on battlefield contains stat increasing buffs.
You will also get higher bonus stats, when the boss gets defeated.
