Alex’s Assortment of Accessories by Alex_anitos
Alex's Assortment of Accessories adds the 78 class-restricted trinkets from the Butcher Circus DLC into the base game but with different stats/design, obtained from more powerful brigands who wander in the 4 regions. To avoid trinket bloat, the trinkets are only dropped by the Butcher Circus brigands, who spawn only in vet/champ dungeons. Watch out!
”These nightmarish creatures can be felled! They can be beaten!”
Here are this weeks mods:
The Red Prince by Falco and Retrograded
A general descended from the noble House of War, the Prince is no stranger to the art of battle, and has been trained since youth to perfect the craft. Whether that be through powerful bleed and blight skills, or versatile but limited use support skills, the Prince’s training makes him a valuable frontline addition to any team.
Here Be Monsters is a series of mods that will add new enemies to Darkest Dungeon. This instalment introduces the Sea Slater, a new Veteran-level enemy for the Cove. Stalwart beasts reared by the flopping fish-things, Slaters pose little threat in their own right, but their ability to take a significant beating - and protect multiple allies at once - make it a troubling foe to contend with…
”The wounds of war can be healed, but never hidden.”

The Oceanborn by BunnyZ , Kranot, Kenthril, Mafe
Lost and seeking a family, this 13-year old orphaned sailor boy is looking for a hold in this world and people he can call family. However, he is not defenseless and his terrible crab form instils respect when he feels threatened.
The Oceanborn specialises in healing with medicine and rum, as well as in defending his fellow adventurers by shielding them with his crab shell. He is a transforming class, which means that while he is in his human form he can heal his allies and mark enemies. However when the Oceanborn transforms, he becomes a huge crab and can guard his fellow adventurers with his guarding skill and damage reflection.
The Man o' War is not from these cursed lands. No, he originates from another dimension, known as the Iron Kingdoms. Brought to the Hamlet by an accursed monster known only as the Hand after it slaughtered his entire platoon, the Man o' War was possessed by a particular need for vengeance against the creature, choosing the fight alongside our forces while he seeks it out, or dies trying. Simple as his motives may be, the mighty technology he brings from his world will solely turn the tide of our war against the darkness.

The Iron Buddha is an unyielding tank, able to take damage alongside the bulkiest of classes. In the front of the charge, he wields his Dao, a curved blade from his far off homelands. He can slash through enemies with ease, causing bleeding wounds that are difficult to heal, or strike to interfere with the enemies own strength. When he needs to get from the backlines, he can lunge forward and summon a swathe of plum blossom petals, distracting his foes and drawing their attention. When in the back of the ranks, he draws his shortbow and fires off shots with uncanny accuracy, having foreseen their impact in his mind’s eye. He can summon forth petals to manifest among gusts of wind while firing volleys, confusing the enemies and disrupting their crafted formations. Additionally he can draw forth from two sources of strength in battle, the rigid might of his solid Iron armor around him, or from his own unyielding inner might. Woe to those who face him in battle, and may their next lives be free of the pain they will experience.
The Wanderer is a glass-cannon damage dealer who excels when taking time to prepare for the perfect strike. While he has zero base crit chance on his weapon and most skills, he gains a stacking, battle-long crit bonus for each non-attack skill he uses. In exchange, upon critting his crit will be disabled for 2 turns, unless the Forbidden Technique is used. As well, his cursed blade thirsts for blood, and will heal him for 10% max HP whenever he gets a kill on an enemy

Darkest Plus by Hunting Slime
Darkest Plus is an end-game expansion mod, leaving the main four Darkest Dungeon quests alone while expanding it with explore, gather, activate, and slay quests. These quests feature Darkest tier enemies, normal shambler, and normal collector spawns as you fight your way through the Darkest Dungeon.
Raving madmen have spoken terrible tales of great beasts, making ready for war. Are these troubling reports true, or just that; the ravings of madmen? This mod is a simple mod that does a small reskin for some particular end game enemies.
Old rumours can stir a town, and forgotten secrets may be found. Whatever the case, the world is changing. So light your torch once again as there is plenty left to be done. Things that when compared to the aberrations of your ancestor seem paltry in comparison.
This mod changes many avenues of the game, seeking to create a new way of playing for returning players to the game.
This update contains 2 of the new features we've been working on as we prep for the Season 2 start and the MacOS and Linux builds. The work on those other are almost done, but we wanted to release these nice quality of life improvements for all in advance of the larger release hopefully within the next week or so. We are in the final stages of testing those other platforms and testing our season change scripts to ensure they work with the multiplayer improvements.

The Blackguard is an all new class mod based on an original design by S-Purple. A silent, accursed undead knight with a penchant for the dark arts, the Blackguard functions as a frontline tank and healer, able to take a heavy beating while keeping his team alive. While playable in any light level, many of his skills will drain the torch, while making him more effective in low light He has fully original assets, including sprites, animations, and sounds.
"An implacable force on the battlefield, the Blackguard relies on terrible black magic to toy with life and death, dragging his foes into an early grave. His censers, holding captive innumerable souls, can restore vitality to his teammates while in turn draining his own. When all lights are snuffed, the Blackguard's true strength is unleashed!

Snorlaxxo’s Set of Surprises by Snorlaxxo
This mod adds about 50 new quirks for you heroes to get to add a bunch of fresh breath into quirks mechanics without really changing the way it works. Those quirks are similar to the vanilla ones, and for the most part, aren't really complicated. Mod should work without any issues and shouldn't conflict with most other mods.
A local cemetery has been completely looted, with a note left at the scene of the crime signed by a group called ‘The Marcus Brothers’. Show them that crime has no place here! As both a roaming miniboss encounter and a plot quest, this group also can drop various trinkets that might prove useful to your heroes against what lurks in the dark.
