Snorlaxxo’s Set of Surprises by Snorlaxxo
This mod adds about 50 new quirks for you heroes to get to add a bunch of fresh breath into quirks mechanics without really changing the way it works. Those quirks are similar to the vanilla ones, and for the most part, aren't really complicated. Mod should work without any issues and shouldn't conflict with most other mods.
A local cemetery has been completely looted, with a note left at the scene of the crime signed by a group called ‘The Marcus Brothers’. Show them that crime has no place here! As both a roaming miniboss encounter and a plot quest, this group also can drop various trinkets that might prove useful to your heroes against what lurks in the dark.

Plague Vestal Skin by Anti'
Our beloved Bestal now gets a kinda useful skin in these time of diseases : The local Plague Doctor needed some experienced hands to help her in her surgical interventions, so she lended a spare mask to the Vestal and the two now try their best to beat diseases!
Add a little variety to your dungeons with a new general enemy, the Pelagic Hybrid, a half fishman, half human bandit. Battle this Eldritch/Human mixture in new encounter groups in the four base game dungeon areas. He can travel with Bandits or Aquatic species. Keep an eye out for a new trinket, too!
The release of the Butcher’s Circus is a month behind us, so we wanted to give an update on what’s coming up next for the DLC as well as details on how the Circus Seasons will play out. We are hoping to have this patch ready within the next couple of weeks, and we will have more specific dates once we have a release candidate containing all of these changes.
Season Structure
Since launch, we’ve been planning on adding a Season structure to the ladder to help keep the competition fresh. The next season will start when this patch is released, which we hope will be in the next week or so. Once we have a confirmed date we will announce it here again as well on social media and our discord!
Here are the specifics of how the Seasons will operate moving forward:
Each season in the Circus will last 6 weeks. During this time, players will have the time to climb the ranks to the Darkest League. At the end of the season, participating players will unlock pieces of an exclusive banner for that season. There will be one piece per league, and a player who achieves a higher league will earn all pieces from lower leagues.
After the season, each player’s rank will decay based on the highest achieved rank in the preceding season. For instance, a player who reached Darkest League Tier I may now be in Veteran League Tier I (the exact decay may change from season to season depending on how many players reach each tier).
The season rollover will also give us an opportunity to introduce potential balancing changes in the event that the metagame needs a shakeup.
Here is a list of the other new features coming the The Butcher’s Circus with the next update:
New Banner In addition to the Season banners discussed above, we also created a new banner as a gift to everyone for bearing with us through all the desyncs we hit during the release window of the DLC.
Party Builder A common quality of life feature requested since release was the ability to save party presets to make it easier to mix up your strategies and experiment with different builds. Coming in the next patch you can now save up to 5 predefined parties. These saved parties will retain their skill and equipped trinkets and can be customly named.
Controller Support For all of those that use the gamepad to play the base game, you can now enjoy the Circus without having to swap back to the mouse and keyboard!
What’s next after this release?
After this patch we have a few more items we would like to action.
Mac/Linux Support!
The Mac and Linux builds are so close to being ready for release! We need just a little bit longer to test and ensure they are fit for the wide release. So while they won’t be in this next patch, they will follow very soon after.
Offline Mode and Better Bots
We want to allow users to access the DLC while offline so those who are doing the campaign and see the Town Event but don’t have an internet connection (or perhaps don’t want to face another human user) can still complete the event by facing a team of BOTS.
We also want to improve the BOTS so that they present a little more challenge as well as give our modders access to them in some capacity to allow for custom BOTs to be shared around the community.
Connection Code
Last but definitely not least, we want to continue to improve the connection code. Since release we have made great strides towards a more stable environment. We still have some work to do in this effort. While this change might not be the flashiest, it will help set up the DLC in a great position for longevity as the Seasons progress.

The Arsonist: by Nathorus, Shay, Ocean, EbonyBetty, RedDye, Golden Yak
The Arsonist is a mid-ranged damage dealer who shines best in ranks 3 and 2 that can employ various ranged and melee abilities. Although very agile the Arsonist can be a bit fragile at times, this can be neglected with the use of his support skills that prolong his life and fix his positioning. The Arsonist as his name implies, loves using fire to burn and kill his enemies. His molotov cocktails have a special and powerful actor dot that does damage to enemies after they attack in battle while his powerful incinerate skill can clear the entire battlefield but at the risk of his own safety.
A once proud Hunter now betrayed by those that once saved and employed him. With feelings of regret of what he has done, he now seeks vengeance."
Welcome to the first class in a series of class mods called Class Variety Project. Banished Hunter is a versatile melee/ranged damage dealer aimed to compliment existing classes. Offers a set of skills and trinkets that allow many different builds so he fits well in any party. Lore wise, he has heavy ties with my upcoming enemy monster faction called The Purity Order. As the skin suggests the faction and Banished Hunter are heavily inspired by Bloodborne.

The Brigand Treasurer by Shay, AnonymousKoala, Terkmc, 54NBB, Sketch
Here Be Monsters is a series of mods that will add new enemies to Darkest Dungeon. This installment introduces the Treasurer, an elusive lowlife in the employ of the nefarious brigands that terrorize the hamlet. While not particularly threatening in combat, the rapacious Treasurer is a difficult target to apprehend, and if left long enough may even run away altogether. If defeated though, the chest he guards will produce a plethora of treasures and valuable trinkets for our estate!
A nonintrusive mod that adds all 103 Butcher's Circus trinkets to singleplayer. Doesn't require any DLC - you don't even need to enable the Circus on your save.
- 103 "Ringmaster" rarity trinkets, painstakingly ported by hand from the Butcher's Circus, with some slight rebalancing and changing due to certain mechanics not working in PvE (for example, enemies cannot go to Death's Door and be Deathblowed). - An additional section for the Nomad Wagon where you can purchase Ringmaster trinkets on a weekly rotation - for a hefty price! - No "trinket bloat", as these trinkets cannot be found in battles or loot, so don't worry about the huge influx reducing the chances of getting other types of trinkets.
We have also identified more issues with regards to the stuttering issues some of our users are encountering since the DLC release. We hope to have more fixes for those in the near future.
Darkest Dungeon

Other Worldly Infestation by GoblinMan IsCool, Iris Heart, and Smarmy Mormon Jesus
“The thing has no name, for it needs no language. Nevertheless, those who would submit to its wordless will are rewarded, in a fashion. The creature's blessings are as repulsive as they are robust. Twisted, half human monstrosities stalk the flesh-ridden halls, protecting their gestating god.” Other Worldly Infestation (Eldritch Expansion) is a mod that plans to expand upon the eldritch visuals already in the game by adding more of it and forever putting it in a state of eldritch flash, adding new eldritch themed skins to hamlet NPCs.
A thick fog has came in from the moor onto the estate. While Traveling the depths of the estate, be prepared to run into thick mist that you will need a torch to find your way through.
This mod adds in the mist obstacle and blood trap to all dungeons, mainly to add in variety to the standard dungeons. Alongside this, it also features brand new curios and some changes to pre-existing curio interactions as well, adding a new layer to what you might already be familiar with.
As part of this update we also created a new public beta branch on Steam that has a new build containing an improved version of our network connection code that we would like users to test before we roll it out to the community at large. The branch is called tbc_test and the improvements should significantly reduce desync and disconnect issues, while also improving the speed and responsiveness of gameplay in all multiplayer games.
We encourage you, if you have time, to switch over to that branch and playtest with others to help us find any issues before we roll it out to the community. We have automatic crash/debug logs being sent to us so if you play and hit issues we will capture them immediately.
