Santa Shugo has spared no trouble in laying the cards on the table again this year:

Collect various combinations of playing cards and win yourself some great prizes - including[Rune] Transformation Contract: Marchutan, Hero's Legendary Noble Steed, and [Event] Night Owl Costume Box!

There are 24 different playing cards in total, each with different symbols and split into 4 suits: clubs, hearts, diamonds, and spades. Each of these categories contains an ace, king, queen, jack, 10, and a joker. Collect lots of different combinations of cards to win valuable prizes.

During the event, you'll receive one free playing card in the AION Shop per account per day. Only characters who have reached level 30 are eligible for free cards.

You can give yourself a better chance of winning by buying extra cards from the AION Shop. Available in packs of 24 or 100.

• Be aware that the cards are generated at random - you might see some a lot, and others only rarely.
• Accounts created after 3/12/2019 are not eligible for these free card giveaways.

Legend has it that the Wise Dragon King rose out of a rift in the Abyss of Ruin to support in battle those who prove worthy.

Your time has come: embrace the power of the Wise Dragon King! Get a Wise Dragon’s Weapon and use Enchantment Stones, Slot Stones and Dragon Sand to upgrade it! Depending on the mission, you’ll receive a Wise Dragon King’s Weapon or a Wise Dragon King’s Mysterious Weapon (Rage)/(Blessing)/(Protection).



Also take a sneak peek at the final crystalline wonder! You can buy a 5-minute test version from Sterlic, the Wise Dragon King’s mysterious recruiter in Stellusia, Dumaha, and behold the Wise Dragon King’s Mysterious Weapon (Rage)/(Blessing)/(Protection).


Obtain a Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest in exchange for 30 Legendary PvP Enchantment Stones (from Puyck) or 30 Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones (from Vuyck). The chests have a random chance of containing a legendary weapon.

• [Rune] Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest (Rage)
• [Rune] Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest (Protection)
• [Rune] Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest (Blessing)

To upgrade a legendary weapon, you’ll have to enchant them to +15 and open the 3 manastone sockets. The upgrades can be carried out in Lakrum by visiting the Equipment Enchanter Eburk (Asmodian) or Exigon (Elyos).


Kinah is required for this upgrade. Your weapon will then have the following properties:

• Level: Ultimate
• Dragon animation

Kinah and 100 Mysterious Dragon Sand are required for this upgrade. You can obtain the sand from the Fight for Dumaha’s Drakan Opals event or by extracting it from Wise Dragon’s Weapons or Wise Dragon King’s Mysterious Weapons (unused sand can be transformed into Wise Dragon King’s Wings).
Your weapon will then have the following properties:

• Level: Ultimate
• Dragon animation
• Appearance skill: Power: Wise Dragon King's Rage, Power: Wise Dragon King's Protection, Power: Wise Dragon King's Blessing

The incessant conflict in Dumaha is leading the Elyos and Asmodians to believe that the energy sources will soon run dry. Spurred to action, the Daevas hunt down the energy resources and discover that the Rega Drakans have been mining a special mineral in secret locations.

Commanders of both the Elyos and Asmodian forces decide to exploit this promising resource with the help of the Stella Corporation, further exacerbating the conflict between them!

Help your faction to gather Drakan Opals, and prevent your opponents from replenishing their energy reserves. Exchange the loot for precious items, such as the [Event] Ultimate Splen Equipment Chest, the [Event] Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stone (7 days), the [Event] Box containing an Engraved Ultimate Manastone and the [Event] Monk's Habit!



Here’s how it works:
Destroying the Winding TowersYou’ll find Winding Towers which need to be destroyed strewn throughout Dumaha. With a bit of luck you can earn yourself a Drakan Opal or a Rega Treasure Chest. Reinforced Winding Towers may even provide a Rega Glory Chest.
The Winding Towers are well-built structures, so you’d do well to get yourself an [Event] Tunnel Explosive in the Gold Sand shop to be more effective in destroying them.

To Catch a ThiefThe Opal Thief Shukiruk is lurking around Dumaha. If you defeat him in combat, you can take his Drakan Opal off him (don’t feel bad about it, he stole it after all!)

Lugbug MissionsComplete various missions by destroying the Winding Towers and stopping the enemy faction doing the same.


The faction with the highest score for PvP victories (1 kill = 1 point) and gathering energy resources (1 Opal = 1 point) will win the struggle for control of Dumaha’s Drakan Opals.

Members of the winning faction will each be rewarded with 1x [Event] Bright Abyss Treasure, while the losing faction members earn Lugbug's Glimmering Treasure (7 days).


There are two options for the Drakan Opals you gather:

• Exchange the Opals for rewards from the Guardian Crisis Consultant (Elyos) or Archon Crisis Consultant (Asmodian).
• Look for Mister McByver (Elyos) or Mister McDyver (Asmodian) and use the Opals and a bit of Kinah to perfect the items you receive.

Winter is coming, you doubtless can’t wait for the festive period to kick in. Then look forward to a new round of elite levels! It’s the perfect way to pass the time, charging up the levels and earning some cool rewards:

This time around we have some new Elite Rewards available including the [Rune] Legendary Transformation Contract (10 types), the Luna Gold Chest, the Ultimate Bundle of Enchantment Stones and many more great items.



The Elite Levels work as follows:

• If you’ve reached Veteran Level 80, each Gold Pack (30 days) used in the game increases your Elite Level by 1.
• Each elite level you reach unlocks additional rewards which can only be assigned to one of your characters.
• In contrast to the existing veteran levels, the elite level rewards are not reset after 6 months, so they can be applied to another character.
• As with the regular veteran levels, the individual rewards can be seen in the tooltips from the respective levels in the veteran system.

Note: The published elite levels are available until 15th January 2020. After that, no further elite levels can be reached by activating Gold Packs (30 days).

• Your existing Elite Rewards remain available to you. These can be viewed and assigned to an individual character in the section ‘Elite Rewards’ under ‘Manage bonuses’.
• In the overview you can still see which and how many elite levels you have achieved.
• A countdown shows how long the elite Level period has to run.

Save the Moon Festival from 13/11 to 4/12 and earn yourself some valuable items. You can look forward to getting your hands on rewards such as the [Event] Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone, the Special Wonderland Dress, and the Moon Rabbit Costume!



The Moon Festival is a tradition that brings the whole family together. Lively discussions, fun games, and full bellies are the order of the day for this celebration.

But this year lots of Daevas are late getting ready for the festival because of how hard they've been working for the Stella Corporation. Plus, there are lots of sons and daughters who can't return to their families because they're still bogged down in battles.

So it's up to you to save the Moon Festival! One particular family will need your help to gather all the ingredients they need to make a Moon Cake Dish. Talk to the father and son to receive a daily quest. Once that's complete, hand over the Moon Cake Dish to the mother for a reward – [Jakunerk] Ring's Kindness.

You don't know how to bake? Don't worry – here's the recipe for a tasty Moon Cake Dish:

• [Jakunerk] Steamed Rice
• [Jakunerk] Red Beans
• [Jakunerk] Grain
• [Jakunerk] Minced Meat
• [Jakunerk] Moon Cake Batter

Get some Moon Cake Batter from logging in (limited to 1x every 30 min, max 20 per day, from level 75). You can get the other ingredients as a reward for completing quests and defeating bosses.

Running: 13/11 to 4/12

The Black Cloud Merchants are again running their popular Shugo Game in which you can win valuable prizes – including the following items:

The [Rune] Box of Legendary Transformation Contracts (another re-roll, 10 types), the Elven Outfit and the [Event] Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone!



To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the shop from 13/11. During the event period you will receive three Shugo Game Tokens for free in the AION Shop.

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• Then, by clicking on 'Continue', the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
• Naturally you can click on 'Stop' at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Game Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

Notes:

• You will automatically be given the prize for the level that you got to if you log out or switch to a different character while participating in the Shugo Game. The game cannot be continued.
• If you reach level 6 or higher and the upgrade fails, you will be able to use two additional Shugo Game Tokens to try again from the level that you failed at.
• The event items will be removed from the game once the event completes with the next server maintenance on 11th December.

It’s time to party in AION as update 7.2 is now live on the European servers! Experience merciless PvP and PvE action!

Running: 30/10 to 27/11
Requirement: level 76 or higher

To celebrate the launch of update 7.2, you’ll have the chance to bag some high-quality equipment in this event! If you complete a thrilling quest, you’ll be rewarded with the Merciless Intruder’s Ultimate Armour Chest and the Silent Black Flame Ultimate Armour Chest!
During the quest, you’ll be walked through the basics of PvE and PvP, receiving important equipment, enchanting, improving and boosting with manastones along the way – so that you become an even more powerful Daeva!

• Once you reach level 76, the quest will be displayed.
• Start the Windstream quest via the orange quest icon (Active Helper Campaigns).
• The quest is divided into two segments: PvE and PvP.

To obtain the Merciless Intruder’s Ultimate Armour Chest, you’ll have to complete the following sections of the quest multiple times:

1. Daevas reach Lakrum
Lisiel will hand over some legendary PvE equipment: 2 weapons and a complete set of armour.

2. Attack on Narakkalli
Defeat Mahorosh in Narakkalli.

3. Enchant the equipment
Learn how to enhance your equipment with enchantments.

4. Storm the Holy Tower
Defeat Brigade General Nergal with your comrades.

5. The Manastones
Learn how to use the Slot Stones and combine your equipment with manastones.

6. Conquer Makarna of Bitterness
Defeat Beritra with your comrades.

7. Liberate Prometun’s Workshop
Defeat Prigga with your comrades.

8. The Stella Development Laboratory
Defeat Weakling Daeva Mob Leader with your comrades.

9. Your ultimate reward
During your Windstream adventure so far, you have collected 4 [Event] PvE Hunting Wind Shavings for which you’ll now be rewarded with the Merciless Intruder’s Ultimate Armour Chest.
To obtain the Silent Black Flame Ultimate Armour Chest, you’ll have to complete the following sections of the quest multiple times:

1. Arrival in Lakrum
Windiel will hand over some legendary PvP equipment: 2 weapons and a complete set of armour.

2. The Genesis Crystals
Conquer a fortress in Lakrum and complete the weekly quest to obtain the Genesis Crystals.

3. Obtain your PvP equipment
Purchase the Ancient Windrider’s Top with your crystals.

4. Enchant the equipment
Learn how to enhance your equipment with enchantments.

5. Enhanced equipment
Collect Abyss Points on the Illumiel Battlefield by fighting your way through the Hererim Mine or defeating opponents in the open world of Atreia.

6. Arrival in DumahaFind out everything a Daeva needs to know about Stellium, the currency in Dumaha: earn Stellium through Altar Siege Battles.

7. Enhanced equipment
Gather the required materials and upgrade your Ancient Windrider’s Top to a legendary one!

8. Your ultimate reward
During your Windstream adventure so far, you have collected 4 [Event] PvE Hunting Wind Shavings for which you’ll now be rewarded with the Ultimate Silent Black Feather Armour Chest.

The release is currently planned for 30/10. In case of any change with the date, we will inform you.

Lots of AION players have asked us about it – now we’re proud to announce to you that Katalam is returning! The legendary map is back: better, bigger and packed with action!


Fight in the ultimate confrontation and swing your weapon in battle against an almost endless sea of enemies – in Red Katalam up to 2,000 players line up against one another in merciless garrison siege battles across servers.

• For players at level 76 or higher
• A total of up to 2,000 players
• Only available at certain times
• Objectives: Conquer garrisons and defeat raid monsters
• Use an ultimate weapon that’s only available in Red Katalam
• New PvP equipment that is available with Battle Insignias (these are awarded for completing certain quests in Red Katalam)
• Additional designs for magical crafting (the materials are available in Red Katalam)

The Orbis Training Arena is located beneath Stellusia Square in Dumaha. This is where secret fights take place. Find out what your character is capable of and go face to face against all sorts of opponents. But remember the first rule of the arena: nobody talks about the Orbis Training Arena!

• You can enter no matter what faction you belong to
• In the Training Arena you’ll find Soul Healers and assistants that give out Transformation and Transparency buffs for free

Running: 16/10 to 6/11

Dellishunerk and Harrishunerk are supposed to be guarding Trillonerk's Gold Vault. But lately they've been delving deeper and deeper into the art of transformation. Monsters saw a chance to exploit the situation and have stolen Trillonerk's treasure from the gold vault. The Shugos are now searching for brave Daevas to confront the monsters and retrieve Trillonerk's treasure.

Help the Shugos and be rewarded for your efforts with valuable items such as the [Rune] Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts (3 types), the Box: Hell Steed, the [Rune] Fire Dragon King's Weapons Chest and the [Rune] Daevanion Essence!




Two to three players enter Trillonerk's Gold Vault and transform into one of three Shugo Transformations. Players receive keys depending on how many points they get for defeating monsters that can then be exchanged for rewards. Players can purchase a special key for special rewards in the AION shop.

• You can find the entrance to Trillonerk's Gold Vault in Lakrum in the Temple of Perpetual Wisdom and in the Everlasting Life Refuge.
• Groups of 2 to 3 players can enter the gold vault 1x daily. Entry is reset daily at 9 AM.
• You can get a Cool-Time Reset Scroll from the AION shop or from the Imperial Chest Bundle in this event.

You can select 1 of 3 Shugo transformations when you enter the gold vault: Lanzenerk, Artunerk or Merlinerk.
Each transformation comes with its own special abilities, so choose wisely!


Grab as many points as you can – show those monsters no mercy! The more points you collect, the better your rank – the better your rank, the more Imperial Chest Keys you can grab.
Each Imperial Chest Key opens an Imperial Chest that contains an [Event] Bundle of Gold Coins.


When fighting against the Pumpkin Kings in the instances listed below, you’ll come across special Imperial Chests. These are much bigger than the normal ones and can only be opened with the Indestructible Imperial Chest Key. They contain precious Imperial Chest Bundles!

You can purchase the Indestructible Imperial Chest Keys in the AION shop or when trading with the NPCs Dellishunerk and Harrishunerk


You can exchange the [Event] Gold Coins from the Imperial Chest in the capital cities with the NPCs Dellishunerk (Elyos) and Harrishunerk (Asmodians) in return for valuable items.
