Great Klabautermann! Cap’n Grogget, Commander of the Shulack Pirates, is back. The captain of perhaps the most notorious ship in all of Atreia, the Steel Rake, seeks his revenge upon the Daevas! He has locked away some Shugos in the Steel Rake Fortress and it is now your job to free them. But be warned: you’ll need all the courage you can muster to survive this adventure.


It will be worth the effort for more than just the Shugos: scoop up some amazing items during the event, including the [Event] Legendary Accessories Chest of the Black Flame, the [Event] Refreshing Beach Set Box and the [Event] Box of Legendary Manastones.





Players from level 76 on can enter the Steel Rake Fortress solo instance once per character each day. Entry will be reset every day at 9 AM.


You can grant yourself additional entries with the following:

• Log in daily and remain active for 3 hours to receive 2 [Event] Entry Coins for the Steel Rake Fortress.
• Exchange the [Event] Freeze Frame with Katoshunerk for Entry Coins.
• Make use of the limited sales of Entry Coins in the Gold Sand shop (max. 3 per day).
• Get Entry Coins from the AION Shop.

When storming the fortress you gather keys with which you can free the Shugos. The more successful you are in your campaign against the pirates, the more keys you collect and the richer you will be rewarded.


Speak with Blubberinerk and find out what you need to do. Fight your way to the fortress on a Jet Ski (how cool is that?!). Use the Jet Ski’s weapons: the Drana Bomb and the Long-range Drana Bomb.


Once in the Steel Rake Fortress you will receive the Pipeline Blast Bomb from Blubberinerk to sabotage the fortress pipeline. Destroy 3 Pipeline Controllers with it!


Additionally you will receive the Mounter for Enhanced Rascal: get into the mech and really dish it out to Cap’n Grogget’s minions! To do so, make use of the mech’s full arsenal: Fire Cannon, Spray Drana Acid, Install Bomb and Emergency Repair.


Take out Grogget’s mangy henchmen: Doctor Arcetto, Madame Chichiriko and Captain Muata. Defeat them, grab their Slave Keys and free 10 Shugos!


Finally, give the returned Grogget a scrap he won’t forget.


Once you’ve defeated Grogget, you will receive one key plus one more key for each Shugo you managed to save (up to a max of 10). With this, you will teleport with Blubberinerk to a treasure island, where you can then collect the item ‘[Event] Freeze Frame’ from the Steel Rake chests.


Finally, exchange the Freeze Frames with Katoshunerk for valuable items and enjoy your moment of glory.





Note: the event items will be removed from the game once the event completes with the next server maintenance on 19/6.

Running: 22/5 to 5/6


The business-minded Shugo Boborunerk always knew to turn the events of Atreia to his advantage. But after Ereshkigal’s devastating attack on the Tower of Eternity and her retreat to Lakrum afterwards, a lot changed for Boborunerk. To keep his business up and running, he is now working together with Karunerk of Karunerk's Workshop.





During your forays through Lakrum’s instances you can gather ‘Boborunerk’s Rusty Coins’ from defeated boss enemies.

• Combine the coin with 8,000,000 XP to receive ‘Boborunerk's Special Coin’. You can combine 5 Boborunerk’s Special Coins with Luna's Light to receive an extraordinary reward: Boborunerk's Grandiose Reward Chest! The chest contains random items – including the Legendary PvE Enchantment Stone, the Transformation Contract (62 types), the Box of Level 80 Manastones, the Tattoo Swimwear and the Sporty Swimsuit.
• Additionally level 80 players will receive 3 Rusty Coins a day through the daily login (every 30 minutes).

We have been watching the populations across the different servers to decide upon and announce the next steps for the character transfer.


There are currently a good amount of players on the Sillus and Stormwing servers. We want to make sure that the other servers are not underpopulated so that all players can adventure on well-filled servers.


The aim of the character transfer is to be able to solve possible conflicts that may have arisen so that players can use their favourite characters once we reactivate the faction limitations on the servers.


This week you will be able to make unlimited transfers to the Odin and Ragnarok servers.


In the coming weeks, transfers will take place under the following conditions:

• Stormwing: Players can transfer to Odin, Ragnarok or Sillus.
• Sillus: Players can transfer to Stormwing, Ragnarok or Odin.
• Odin: Players can transfer to Ragnarok.
• Ragnarok: Players can transfer to Odin.

This arrangement for character transfers remains active until 29/5. The characters of players that do not resolve their conflicts by this date will be transferred automatically afterwards.

Tip: Inactive or low-level characters that are affected by a conflict can also simply be deleted. Less active characters can also simply be moved to another server.

Oh my! Lenarunerk suffers from amnesia and has set up some letters around his new home to ensure that he never forgets his most precious memories. Unfortunately a bunch of mean monsters has broken in and stolen these letters. In his despair, Lenarunerk has turned to the Daevas.

Help Lenarunerk and you’ll be rewarded: look forward to excellent items such as the [Event] Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stones, the [Rune] Ancient Transformation Contract, the Mad Hatter's Costume (male) and Alice's Dress (female)!




Here’s what you need to do to fetch the letters of Lenarunerk’s most important memories:

• Lenarunerk visits the ABYSS for the first time
• The first time he met a DAEVA
• The incarnation of AION saving Atreia from Ereshkigal

The monsters responsible for the theft of Lenarunerk’s letter rows are roving around Lakrum. Give them a good hiding and exchange the letters for valuable reward bundles. Some letters are harder to find than others:

• A, B, E and O appear frequently
• D, I and S appear rarely
• N, V and Y appear very rarely

There is also the chance that the very rare letters to be found in Kirshka's Treasure Chest or the Secret Chest of Jealousy.


Have you collected a sequence of memory letters? Then head to Lenarunerk to exchange them for the following reward bundles:

Letter Collector's Large Bundle for letter sequence ‘AION’
Letter Collector's Normal Bundle for letter sequence ‘ABYSS’
Letter Collector's Small Bundle for letter sequence ‘DAEVA’

Did you collect too many letters? Your efforts will not be in vain, as you will be able to dismantle any unneeded letters (A, B, D, E, I, O and S), granting you the Fragment of the dismantled Letter Card. With 100 of these fragments, Lenarinerk, Lenarunerk’s sister, will give you a Mysterious Letter Bag, which holds one random letter, thereby increasing your chances of attaining a very rare letter.

Note: the event items will be removed from the game once the event completes on 5th June 2019. To ensure you receive all the items you have earned, make sure you use your reward bundles before this date.

Head out on your monster hunt from 24th April to 15th May! Defeated monsters all over Atreia will drop Treasure Chests of Battle at random. All you need now are the keys to get to the juicy rewards.


Among other items, in treasure chests you’ll find the Night Owl costume, the Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stone, the Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone and the [Rune] Special Transformation Contract (62 types).

• Defeat monsters all over Atreia (excluding Poeta/Ishalgen)
• Pocket the drop: the Treasure Chest of Battle
• Defeat monsters in the instances to have chance for keys for the Treasure Chest of Battle to drop. This also applies to the monsters in Lakrum. Alternatively, you can acquire the keys in the AION Shop.

Even more prizes: in addition to your reward, you are also guaranteed at least one Safe Token and with a little luck you can even get up to 25 Safe Tokens at once!


You can exchange the tokens at the Safe Token Vending Machine for useful items. You can find the vending machines in the capitals and in Lakrum. What are you going to get?

Starting Wednesday, 24/4/2019, you will be able to register for the character transfer on our website. Should a server conflict arise, you will have the option to resolve this with the help of a character transfer feature available in the Account Management section on the AION website, letting you decide which characters should be transferred to a different server. The character transfer will start on 2/5/2019.


Please note that we will be evaluating the balance and populations on the servers as previously announced and will make provisions accordingly.
This will be done to avoid a large imbalance and to prevent the servers becoming over-populated, leading to performance issues.


For each server and every faction there are limitations on the amount of players who can transfer. Once the maximum number of players has been reached, please select a different server.

Finally! The cold season is coming to an end and in Atreia, many Daeva are celebrating spring. Get excited for a freshly blossoming event with some fine rewards such as the Selection Box containing Legendary Weapon of the Black Flame, the Selection Box containing Legendary Wings of the Black Flame, the Wengo and the [Rune] Ancient Transformation Contract.





Event timeframe: 3/4 to 17/4
Players: level 75 or higher


Now that spring is coming, everything in Atreia revolves around magic blossom! What’s that? You have none? Then get out on the hunt and exchange your loot for some super useful items:

• You will receive Magic Blooms through daily logins, quests in Lakrum and by defeating instance bosses.
• Exchange the Magic Blooms with Primavera for valuable items.
• In addition you can collect Maimed Blossom, which you can combine with the Nectar Motes available in the AION Shop to create the wonderful Romance Blooms. Romance Bloom can be exchanged with NPC Primaverano for more top-quality items.
• Find both NPCs in the Temple of Perpetual Wisdom or in the Everlasting Life Refuge.

Magic Bloom

• Log in daily and get 50 Magic Blooms every 30 minutes (max 250 per day).
• Gather Magic Bloom in Lakrum (Shady Forest, Temple of Endorim and Cruel Coastline).
• Get them through completion of weekly garrison missions and urgent orders in Lakrum.
• Seize them from instance bosses or get them from Treasure Chests.

Romance Bloom


To produce Romance Blooms you need two things: the Maimed Blossom and the Nectar Motes.

• The Maimed Blossom have a small chance to be earned from instance bosses or from treasure chests.
• The Nectar Motes can be acquired from Primavera or bought from the AION Shop (only 1 per day).

Instances


The Magic Blooms and Maimed Blossoms can be found in the following instances: Mirash Refuge, Garden of Knowledge, Holy Tower, Narakkalli, Prometun's Workshop, Makarna of Bitterness, Senekta and Hererim Mine.
