Mysterious fountains are appearing in Sanctum and Pandaemonium from 16/5 to 6/6. According to rumours, Aion personally created them to thank Daevas and to provide them great joy.


Earn Magic Blooms and throw them into the Fountain – you will receive either a Gift of Magic Blooms or a Special Gift of Magic Blooms, which contains even more valuable items such as the Cute Minion Contract, the Commander's Protective Soulstone, Steel Wall Commander's Soulstone, the Commander's Storm Soulstone, the Cherry Tree Wings and Wounded Soul Wings. A full list of all rewards can be viewed further below.


However, there is a chance that you might receive a Faded Magic Bloom. Its magic has long since faded, making it worthless to you.

• Complete the daily quest.
• Complete the PvP Quests (from level 65 onwards).
• Defeat monsters in the Upper Abyss.
• Stay logged in for at least one hour.
• Loot Magic Blooms from bosses in event instances.

If you throw the Magic Blooms into the Fountain, you will receive the bundle [Event] Gift of Magic Blooms. There is a small chance that the bundle contains [Jakunerk] Petals, which you can combine with the [Jakunerk] Love Powder (available in the AION Shop) to get an even better bundle: the [Jakunerk] Special Gift of Magic Blooms.

Please note the following: you need to have a hero with level 66 and can only collect the item once per week and account. Additionally, the item cannot be gifted.

The Deathbringer PvP Event has begun! Visit the Akaron battlefields until 16th May and tackle a slew of challenges.


Lots of exquisite rewards are waiting for you – including the High Guard Leader's Armour Chest, Protectorate's Soulstone Bundle, Phantom Steed, Dark Dragon King's Enhanced Weapons Chest, High Guard Leader's +7 Hat Box and the [Motion Card] Energy Concentration too!





When you enter Akaron you'll have several chances to sweep up cool rewards:

• Beat other players – the higher you level up, the better your rewards. Unlike the last event, kills by groups are also counted (but not by alliances).
• Pit yourself against the best! The 250 most successful players will receive additional prizes and the best players on a server will snag some particularly valuable loot.
• Kill one of the Balaur, Legates or Garrison Battle Commanders in Akaron and grab yourself a reward bundle. If you occupy the garrison you'll also receive access to the weekly quests that guarantee you additional rewards alongside the bundle.

In this PvP event, every Daeva that reaches a certain amount of kills during the event period will be rewarded with useful items. Please note the following:

• Only PvP wins in Akaron by players at level 65 or higher will be counted. Your victim must all be level 65 or higher.
• The top players will receive rewards based on their placement (top 250, 100, 50, 25, 10, 3) on the server. 
• Players can find out their placement and compare themselves to other players by taking a look at our Event Rankings.
• Journey through the land and kill one of the Legates or Garrison Battle Commanders in Akaron and you'll be guaranteed a reward bundle (the Treasure Chest of Wealth). 
• Occupying the garrison means you'll gain access to the weekly quests too. You also receive the reward bundle when you successfully complete quests,
• If you complete 30 garrison quests by the end of the event in Akaron, you'll receive an especially valuable reward bundle. (A list of events can be viewed at the end of this news post.)
• Get a free pack! The contents of this pack will help you in your PvP battles.
• The winner of the main prize will be announced at the end of the event.
• Kills will be counted for groups (but not alliances).

Note on the server merge:

• A character who transfers across during the PvP event will lose their kill points and thus their placement in the rankings (rewards cannot be received twice).
  An example: if a player has 1,000 kill points on their account, they will receive the corresponding reward. These points will be reset if they transfer across. This means that to get the reward for 1,500 kills they would have to collect a total of 2,500 kill points.
• Please note: you can only transfer your character during maintenance. If you have already begun the transfer, you can cancel it so you don't lose your place in the PvP rankings.

Be rewarded for your service on the battlefield and grab the Free PvP Pack in the AION shop – while the event lasts. Only players with level 66+ can receive the pack once a day per account and this cannot be transferred.

To ensure that you have a better overview of how you are doing compared to others, we have put an event ranking table online. Alongside your own position, you can see how others are doing – provided you are in the top 100 on your server.

Notes:

• The rankings will only be updated every half an hour.
• Only the top 100 per class, per faction and per server will be displayed.
• The rankings remain online for one week after the event ends.

You will get different rewards depending on the amount of kills you make. The higher your count, the more valuable the items! These will then be sent to you using the Shugo Messenger (delivery times may vary).


Please note that kills by groups are now counted too and will be rewarded (but not kills by alliances). We're doing this both to give the support classes the chance to get high-quality rewards more easily and to allow them to compete better with other players. 





The top players (top 250 to top 3) on each server will receive the corresponding rewards (an example for the 250 best players: 12 servers x 250 = 3,000 rewards issued). ‘The Best In Class’ relates to the winners on the server, the faction as well as the class (so from 12 servers, 2 factions and 11 classes we get 264 winners).


Pit yourself against hordes of other players, grab a place at the top of the rankings and sweep up even more rewards. If you're one of the three best players on your server or the best player in your class, you will receive extremely rare items like the legendary ‘God of Death’ or ‘Deathbringer’ Speech Bubble Titles!


They are time-limited and will be lost when the next PvP event starts.

Explore a shared world with united strength! We have merged the servers to make Atreia more densely populated. Log in to the game as soon as you can to get your free relocation care pack, comprising:

• [Jakunerk] All-Powerful Enchantment Stone (3 days)

You will find all gifts in your bonus management.


Each merge will consist of one server being merged into a destination server. The destination server will remain and keep its previous name. Here is a full overview of the new server situation:

The Black Cloud Merchants are once again running their popular Shugo Game, in which you can win valuable prizes – including the following items:


Dark Dragon King's Weapons Chest, Box: Cuddly Sheep, Level A Minion Contract, Hyperion Minion Contract, Weda Minion Contract, Saendukal Minion Contract, Karemiwen Minion Contract, Kromede Minion Contract, High Guard Leader's Accessories Chest, High Guard Leader's Armour Chest as well as the Stigma Enchantment Stone.


To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the AION Shop from 18/4.


Free! Get three Shugo Game Tokens free during the first week of the event (your character has to have reached level 66 for this). At the end, a new event will start where you can pick up even more Shugo Game Tokens! 


How the Shugo Game works:

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• Then, by clicking on 'Continue', the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
• Naturally you can click on 'Stop' at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

Notes:

• You will automatically be given the prize for the level that you got to if you log out or switch to a different character while participating in the Shugo Game. The game cannot be continued.
• If you reach level 6 or higher and the upgrade fails, you will be able to use two additional Shugo Game Tokens to try again from the level that you failed at.

New allies and challenging enemies for your adventures! To help populate Atreia more densely, some of the servers are going to be merged together, uniting previously separated worlds. 


We are currently planning to perform the server merge on 25/4/2018.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the 25.04 is our wished date and some tests still need to be performed until then. Of course, we will let you know if, for any reason, we would have to change that date.




Each merge will consist of one server being merged into a destination server. The destination server will remain and keep its previous name. Here is a full overview of the new server situation:

Grendal (EN) --> Antriksha (EN) = Antriksha (EN)


Padmarashka (FR) --> Hyperion (FR) = Hyperion (FR)

Schedule:

• On 25/4, day of the merge, character transfer will be unlocked on the website.
• On 2/5 the first character transfers that were registered from the day of the merge to this day will take place during special maintenances.
• The character transfers can be registered until 15/5. The final transfers will be carried out on this day. If you are affected by a Faction Conflict and do not manage to register for a transfer before this time, we will carry it out automatically. In this situation you will not be able to select where we send each of your heroes.

Relocation Gifts: To sweeten the new shared home on the merged server, after the successful merge all players will receive the following free items once per account via ‘Manage bonuses’:

• Greater Minion Contract
• White Tiger (30 days)
• Bloodlust (30 days)
• [Jakunerk] All-Powerful Enchantment Stone (3 days)

Problems:


Naturally, we make every effort to try to ensure that the server merges are as smooth as possible. However we will have to compete with some challenges. The most of important of these have been gathered here.


Faction conflicts: You can only play on one faction per server. As a result of this merge, the distribution of some accounts will be muddled up. If you are affected by this, we ask that you make use of the free character transfer on the AION website to move one or more of your heroes to other servers.


Name conflicts: Legions as well as character names are not always unique. With the server merge, it may occur that more than one character or legions with the same name end up on one server. In such an instance, the player with an older or higher ranked character will keep their name. The player with a character who is younger or lower in level will receive a Name Change Ticket to rename their character. The same applies to legions. Every Brigade General of a legion affected by the name change will receive a ‘Legion Name Change Ticket’.


Housing: The right to ownership of a house that is located on the destination server of the merge will remain intact. Players who are being transferred from the server that is being integrated will lose their houses. All those affected will be refunded double the purchase price of the old house as a means of compensation. For mansions, estates or palaces, you will receive the item ‘Yasba's Grace (30 days)’.

You will receive Shugo Gold when you defeat powerful bosses in various instances. You can then use this to get extraordinary bundles from the Shugobot. It’s even easier than ever to get to valuable enchantment items and top-tier items with the Shugobot and his Shugo Vending Machine. Pay him a visit! You’ll find him in all the capitals – he looks forward to meeting you!


On top of this, you can give him your coins for non-tradeable as well as tradeable enchantment items, mounts, costumes and other useful items.




Please note: We decided to have a 2 weeks trial period where we test the NPC on live and check the outcome regarding the amount of coins you can obtain from the bosses.  
After this period, we will evaluate the amounts again and adapt them if necessary.
