It's time! The old season is ending and in AION there are three hot events coming up: show your crafting skill in the Crafting Event, grab the rewards in the Matryoshka Puppet Upgrade and let the best doctors and nurses in Atreia take care of you in the Healing Camp.


Running: 14/3 to 4/4


How are your magic handicrafts? Are you ready to craft powerful weapons in the Great Crafting Event? Show what you can do and dust off exquisite rewards.


Complete challenging crafting tasks with the help of Magical Crafting and boost your crafting ability. Once you've reached a set level you will receive high-quality rewards! You can find a full list of tasks and rewards further down. 


You can use the following boosts and extras for support in mastering these tasks:

• +250% crafting boost
• +250% drop chance (along with the activated permanent +50% and only in Nosra and Esterra)
• Reduced shop items
• Free shop items
• Extra drops by enemies

All over Nosra and Esterra your opponents drop various skill bundles that will be extremely useful to you when completing your crafting tasks.


Rewards for completing tasks 1-3 will also be delivered to players who already reached the required crafting skill level before the start of the event.

Task 2: Use Magical Crafting and reach crafting skill 200




Task 3: Use Magical Crafting and reach crafting skill 300




Task 4: Craft a weapon from the Prones weapon range.




Note: The reward for the final mission can only be received 1x per character.

Artfully painted wooden puppets are totally in vogue right now in Atreia: Matryoshkas bring you exquisite items when you upgrade them! But make sure you don't break them.


You can look forwards exquisite items such as the Cute Minion Contract (14 types), the Dark Dragon King's Enhanced Weapons Chest, the Phantom Steed, the [Jakunerk] Superior Upgrade Serum and the 100% Mighty Manastone Socketing Aid (Mythical).






There are two ways of getting Matryoshka puppets:

• Get Matryoshka puppets as loot in the event instances. (Your chances of looting vary. Everyone in the group receives loot.)
• Get a +1 Matryoshka Pack in the AION shop.

Double-click the Matryoshkas in your inventory to upgrade them. They will either increase by one to three levels, or they will be destroyed. If they are destroyed, there's no need to be sad because you can exchanged ten broken puppets for a +1 Matryoshka and try the upgrade again.


If your Matryoshka breaks at Level 6 or 7, you will receive the [Jakunerk] Matryoshka's Gratitude. For broken Matryoshkas at Level 8 you will receive the [Jakunerk] Matryoshka's Gift and for broken Matryoshkas at Level 9 you will receive [Jakunerk] Matryoshka's Luck.


When you reach Level 9 you will receive [Jakunerk] White Matryoshka - e.g. you can get [Jakunerk] Magic Dye in the AION shop, for example.


If you managed to upgrade your Matryoshka to level 10, you'll receive the items [Jakunerk] White Matryoshka and [Jakunerk] Magic Dye. Combine the two and you'll receive the bundle [Jakunerk] Magic Matryoshka as a final reward.














Get one [Jakunerk] +1 Matryoshka in the AION Shop daily.


Note: This item is available once a day per account for all players level 30 and above. It cannot be transferred.

With all this action going on, sometimes even the greatest heroes need a break. The Healing Camp once again welcomes all Daevas who require a little reinvigoration. Pay the doctors and nurses in the towns a visit and receive treatment in the form of scrolls and potions.

During the event period you can loot Experiment Bags in many of the instances. They each contain a [Jakunerk] Piece of Lead or a [Jakunerk] Alchemy Essence. If you combine the two together, you will receive either a gold or a copper key. The Copper Key will help you to open a normal chest, whilst the Gold Key will allow you to open a special chest.


Amongst others, there are rewards such as the Golden Joy Wings, the Noble +10 Manastone Box, Mighty Socketing Aid Box, the High Guard Leader's Noble Weapons Chest, High Guard Leader's Noble Armour Chest and the Bundle of Skill Cards.


Tip: during the event you will receive three free [Jakunerk] Alchemist's Experiment Bags every day in the AION Shop. You have to have reached level 66 for this.

The Black Cloud Merchants are hosting their popular Shugo Game once again, where you can win some terrific rewards – including the Stigma Enchantment Stone, the High Guard Leader's Armour Chest, the Noble Manastone Bundle +10, the 100% Mighty Manastone Socketing Aid (Mythical), the High Guard Leader's Accessories Chest, the [Lunashunerk] Bundle of Illusion Godstones (Additional Damage) and the [Lunashunerk] Bundle of Illusion Godstones (Special Statuses).


To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the AION Shop from 14/2.


Free! Receive five Shugo Game Tokens free every Thursday after our Shop Update during the event (to a total of 15). Your character has to have reached level 66 for this.


How the Shugo Game works:

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• Then, by clicking on 'Continue', the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
• Naturally you can click on 'Stop' at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

Notes:

• You will automatically be given the prize for the level that you got to if you log out or switch to a different character while participating in the Shugo Game. The game cannot be continued.

The Daeva Race on the Treasure Island of Courage is known for being the hardest in all of Atreia. In this merciless parcours, three Elyos go up against three Asmodians. They hit the Start line with special abilities and have to use these wisely to overcome their opponents. The course includes a number of hurdles, passes some sneaky traps and through some difficult terrain, often forcing brave participants to take to the sky or to make use of mounts. Once they get to the finish, fame and recognition awaits, along with some fantastic rewards.


Minimum level: 10
Times: Friday at 0:00 to Sunday at 23:59


Enter the Treasure Island of Courage instance and register using the integrated instance server for the competition. As soon as three players of each faction are present, the race begins.


Every team member sets their competition class prior to the big race. Select the class according to your tactics:


Hook Class
Abilities: Frenzy, Restraining Chains, Fear Bomb, Gripping Chains


Boot Class
Abilities: Dense Fog, Dimension Image, Counter-attack Lunge, Sprint Skill


Trap Class
Abilities: Gripping Hand, Frenzy, Binding Hand, Paralysis Breath


Shield Class
Abilities: Frozen Harpoon, Swiftwing, Frost Barrier, Remove Shock


You can set special abilities by taking a maximum of four aids with you into the race. You only have a limited amount of time to choose. After the countdown expires, the gate to the parcours opens and the race starts.








Your team receives points when it is in the lead and of course, if it wins. Every runner on the winning team receives three keys. The losers leave with nothing. In the event of a draw, all runners receive one key.


The keys open a chest of rewards. For Magnificent Treasure Chests, a key from the shop is required. Only these premium keys will remain permanently available to the runners: the keys for the Regular Treasure Chest will be lost when you leave the instance.

The race comprises one round and is split into 4 sections. As the race really isn’t child’s play, we’ve prepared some tips for a perfect run:


Section 1

• Watch out for the bombs! If you step on them you will be paralysed briefly.
• Run at the hurdles and overcome them.
• Gather up the whirlwind, it gives you a small speed boost over your opponent.
• Jump into the path of wind and have it carry you.
• When you reach the canyon of fog, only your wings will carry you further. Be sure not to disturb the clouds as you fly. They may look fluffy, but their bolts will paralyse you.

Section 2

• At the start of this section, you can use your mount until you reach the start of the next race section.

Section 3

• This section is really something: there are chasms, poisonous mushrooms, sticky spider webs and some eldritch tree roots. Be careful: lots of Atreian runners have already faced a fatal situation thanks to these dangers.
• Towards the end, good timing is required: the ground moves and every false move could be your last!
• To move on to the next section, launch yourself using the geyser.

Section 4

• Don’t get too close to the zombies and be wary as you run, lest you drop into the depths.
• Get ready for the final stretch: run towards the finish, leap from the cliff and fly to the end of the parcours. Your rewards will be waiting for you here – provided you were a brave runner.
